OC Metro Construction

I got introduced to Mr. John Ghim of OC Metro Construction through a Realtor friend of mine. Not checking ths company in Unilocal or Angies List was a big mistake. So to help other members I am writing this review and adding this company to the Unilocal review list.
I contracted Metro Construction to remodel two bathrooms, Install 8 recessed lights and replace 500 sft of acoustic ceiling. John Ghim agreed to complete the job in three weeks. The job took five weeks to complete with so many issues that are still outstanding. It would take a very long review to list out all the complaints and the review would look like a rant. To prevent that I am limiting my review to few major issues.
Basically the company did a very poor job. John agrees to one thing and tries to cheat his way out.
1. None of the shower doors installed are level. Doors have jammed and in one door glass is starting to break.
2. All bathrrom vanities are not level. In some cases I found they have used cardboard from packing to shim the vanity, because of that the drawers are not closing or opening properly.
3. Dry wall finish was very poorly done with surface blemishes
4. Shower floors are not level with water puddling around in spots.
5. Workers heavily soiled carpet flooring and even after steam cleaning the carpet is not back to its original color.
I have tried to contact John Ghim many times, basically he never responded to the calls or emails. I have called for another remodeler from Angies List to come and correct all the issues and planning to take legal Action against OC Metro Construction.
