New Life Auto Collision

Dan and his team did an amazing job restoring my car. I had the car detailed inside/​out, dents removed, and the plastic parts painted. The car literally looks better then the day I drove it off the lot brand new in 2009.

These guys are basically fantastic.
I originally had my car towed to a different body shop nearby after an accident. The guy at that shop didn’t give me a firm quote at first, so I waited. I called him back the next day, and he had a rough estimate, but he still hasn’t removed the damaged number to see the full extent of the repairs needed. Two days more, I called him. His estimate had gone up, and I told him I couldn’t pay that. He said he’d remove the bumper (apparently he had never done that, so don’t know where his quote came from) and give me a final quote. It went up each time, and it took almost a week just to get there. I had to call him each time, because he would never call me when he promised he would.
So I asked my sister-in-law’s dad for a recommendation, as he was a mechanic in the La Mirada area for a while. He and another guy he worked with both pointed me to New Life.
I called up New Life, and Alex was very patient with me as I complained about the shop that had my car. Long story short, while I was stuck at work late, New Life got my car from the first shop (which I had called, obviously) and took it to their place. Never charged me for it, even though I offered. The next day, my insurance company said they needed pictures of the damage for the overall claim. I hadn’t been able to take any at the accident scene, but after I asked, Alex emailed me high quality pictures of my car from every angle I could have wanted that same day. Did I mention he had been texting me as well, staying in touch ever since they had gotten my car?
Well, we finally talked and nailed down a deal for the repair work, and without my asking, they sent me status updates on my car with pictures. It was like getting letters from my kid at summer camp or something. Amazing.
They made sure I was happy with the work, and I’ve had my car for over a week now. They’ve followed up on a turn indicator that was acting weird, and they fixed it while I waited at no charge. Maybe they were just being super nice to me after my bad experience at the first place, but I’ll take it.
New Life was professional, up-​front about costs, communicative, and dedicated to making sure I was happy when I drove my Mazda off for good. I was extremely satisfied with my experience there, and I highly recommend it for your auto body shop needs. As Jim Halpert would say: Absolutely I do (recommend it).

I had to take my Acura RL in two months ago, got rear ended. White pearl paint, and I’m a detail freak. My car is clean. I park in the garage.
Dan (owner) and Alex (foreman) were both good to me.
Communication is the key to ANY good car repair deal and service.
I went to get the car, and the back bumper wasn’t quite right. Instead of being annoyed, I said, «Alex, the freakin’ bumper ain’t right!»
An hour later, it was perfect. (A certain clip wasn’t properly ‘clipped’).
Honestly, my car looks BETTER than it did before. No problems two months into it.
So then, two weeks ago, my wife’s Acura MDX (also white pearl) gets rear-​ended on the freeway.
Damn. Bummer.
So I take it in, needs lots of parts. I am nervous.
Today, I go to get it.
«Alex, the mud flap is ‘flappin’, WTF?!?»
This time, five minutes later the car is DIALED!
Looking, surprisingly, waaaaay better than when I brought it in.

Everyone here is amazing! They went over and beyond to make my car shine! Took out all the dings and scratches. I am more than pleased with their service and work. I have found myself a new body shop!

I had recently gotten my BMW Aerodynamics kit painted at New Life Auto. I had to say I was extremely happy with their work; their paint job was second to none. More importantly their customer service was awesome; Troy even went out of his way to meet me before shop opening hours so that I could pick up my kit to get it installed at the dealership.
I would definitely bring all our cars here for any work that I need to do.

My Boss came to me and shared his experience with this Auto Service Center he went located at Fullerton. He told me that he came there basically not knowing what he want to be done on his 2006 Cadillac XLR. He came across with the owner Dan and was asked how can he help him, my Boss said that he wants his rubber lining (on window) to be replace since its looking old and fading, he then said that no need to replace it, let us do something about it and amazingly it came back to its original color and shine. Best part about it… its free of charge… he highly recommends the place and will absolutely come back if he needs something done to his Cadillac.

Nice owner. Great prices and they even offered me a ride down to Kimmie’s Coffee Cup down the road where I was gonna head off to for a bit to grab some breakfast while they were working on my car. Would I take my car back there to get fixed? Of course!

The people here are nice and professional. Took my car in for a rock chip repair… they did a pretty good job, but costly at $ 65.(they lowered it from $ 95). Since I am picky and was not completely satisfied with the results, I had someone «re-​do» it and the repair only cost $ 25. Overall, nice people and I would definately consider this place for a larger repair.

The best body shop I’ve found in the area, and really enjoy going there. I’ve had work done there twice, and I’ll be back once again to have a new rear bumper painted.
They’re willing to do things that other shops won’t for me, and are always willing to work with me to get things done.
As a side note when I was in a jam for needing a vehicle and my car was in the shop they even let me borrow their truck!
I highly recommend these guys.

I was introduced to newlife auto body by a friend from the Mercedes dealer. I dropped off my car on a monday and left it with them for as long as they needed. It took about 2 weeks. This is my weekend car. So, I didn’t care how long it took. I just want things to come out right the first time.
I had them black out the grill on my E63 front end as well as color match and install the rest of the updated conversion. When I picked up the car, I instantly noticed how much more aggressive it looked but still maintains the classy Mercedes appearance. I like to call it aggressively conservative. Dan and Troy are stand up guys and they took excellent care of my car. The customer service I received was top notch. Thanks guys!

I brought my car in, thinking that I would definitely need a new bumper (based on a visit to another body shop), and Dan actually saved me money by suggesting they could repair the existing bumper with some brute force.
I definitely felt that he was on «our side» and didn’t get that «ick» feeling that so often comes when someone is telling you that the repair is $x thousand dollars and you don’t even know what it is that they’re doing to your car.
I would highly recommend New Life should I (cross fingers) ever need body work again. Two thumbs up!

I am the customer service manager at a Mercedes-​Benz dealership so trust me when I tell you that I know what great customer service is. We use NewLife at our dealership for hundred thousand dollar cars and so when I needed to have work done on my moms Mercedes I knew who to turn to. Dan at New Life went above and beyond what I expected from an autobody shop. He worked with me and gave me the best price for the best service. The work turned out great and the paint looked like it did on the first day. Thanks again Dan!

My first experience with New Life automotive was a complete detail that included some paint work for my 2004 RAM. Honestly the finished product was better than when I took delivery from the dealer 4 years ago. I even scored points with my boss who kept asking me «how they got those rims looking like mirrors».
My wife was so jealous I had to take her old Subaru for a detail and bodywork with the same result.
These guys deliver a very high quality product for a reasonable fee. You deal with the owner directly and when he’s not around he has people working for him that know what they are doing.
I can’t recommend these guys highly enough. If you want better than new, this is the place.

I finally had enough of my yellow, cloudy headlights and was just about to buy one of those d-​i-​y headlight polish kits when I found this shop. It’s a great place for quick fixes — super fast service, and did the job right.
