It is my belief that a couple’s wedding is not something that should just be recited from a book of pre-​scripted ceremonies. One’s wedding is a special, one-​of-​a-​kind day of which the ceremony accompanying it should be just as unique. At My Wedding, My Way, I offer my services as a wedding officiant while also working together with you to write your own wedding masterpiece.

History

Established in 2012.

Having started performing marriage ceremonies in July of 2011, I have since created My Wedding, My Way to provide personalized wedding ceremonies.

The package I offer is as follows: I will discuss with you (via an in-​person meeting, the telephone, or e-​mail) what you would like in your ceremony (whether you want me to write it all, work with you to write it, or if you want to write it all yourself), I will come to the wedding rehearsal (if time permits and if you want; please note that the extensive travelling fee is collectable for both the rehearsal and the wedding itself) and will arrive early at the wedding to make sure everything is in place and go over any last-​minute details. After the ceremony, as is customary, I personally file the wedding certificate and will provide a framed copy of the wedding script for you to remember.

My name is Michael Perry. I have the authority to perform wedding ceremonies and have been doing so since July of 2011. I have, as I would like to believe, a talent for using words in such a way as to create meaningful ceremonies. I have a few that I could share with you, some of which have been used already, and some of which I have written in advance for possible use. My main focus is being a wedding officient for the Orange County area, though I will travel a little farther if discussed in advance.

I will never use the same ceremony twice, so you will see the ceremonies separated into sections of already used and not-​yet used ceremonies. If you choose a ceremony I have not used before, there is no extra charge for that as I have not written it for anyone in particular, though you may find it matches what you have in mind for your wedding. If that is the case, I am willing to make some adjustments for free so that it suits you perfectly.
