love the clothes so cheap and in good condition great place to buy vintage I found a dress there made in 1950 and it was like new and fit great the staff rocks they are so nice and help you out we also bought a refurnished bed set there and they were very nice helped my husband load it and even gave us a rope to tie it down. you have to hurry though they are moving I wish I knew where but everything is going fast

Omg I think they went out of business! NOOOOOO!!! Ugh I hate Buffalo Exchange with everything inside of me and I was stoked when I discovered Modtex. It was my go-​to spot every payday. Nicest employees & cute, reasonably priced stuff. Their buyers had a discerning eye that was always exactly what I was looking for. I can’t believe it’s closed. I sincerely hope they’ve just moved locations. UGH.

Super cute clothes, affordable prices, and best of all the staff is kind and the store is kept clean! All the clothes is labeled well and clean. I bought a really cute everyday sundress for $ 12 and I can’t wait to wear it., As well as return to this store to shop more!

Very clean & it didn’t feel like I had to go through heaps and heaps of clothing just to find a gem. Shirts/​shorts were all usually priced around $ 11-​$ 12, which is kiiiind of expensive for a thrift store, like Goodwill & Salvation Army… but I get that it’s a small business.
Overall, I wouldn’t mind going again if I was in the area

Ouch. Used shirts for $ 12 and used pants for $ 18? Even if ModTex had another 50% off sale, no thank you. Seriously, an ugly short tank top for $ 12 when H&M is selling a cuter tank for $ 5.95. I gawked at that one in disbelief. Heck, I’m still making a face at this one. I’d be cuter in a regular $ 4 tank pulled up and JCPenny is selling cute dress pants for $ 6.60.

It is NOT okay to change your business location and the entirety of your store AND keep your old Unilocal reviews to maintain stars. Some people on here read the old reviews and come to this place expecting the amazingness and the cheap thrifts of the old store. Sorry to say, I haven’t been impressed with their move.
I’m a really big fan of their old store, it was probably my favorite thrift store, so imagine my disappointment when I find out they turned into a Buffalo Exchange dupe in DT Fullerton. I DO appreciate that they’ve sorted out all of the bad clothing from the old store (and I do appreciate all of the cute finds here), but again: this is a thrift store. Used, worn pleather shorts shouldn’t cost $ 22.

This little thrift store is so cute. It’s among my favorites in the surrounding Fullerton area. It’s really, really clean and organized. It has a sort of boutique feel to it (bonus!). Most of the items are very well priced. I go back every few weeks and usually find something worth buying.
The only thing I find wrong is that it’s small so the selection isn’t very wide but that’s why I keep coming back!

One of the best thrift stores I’ve been to. It’s just the right size with just the right thing you may be looking for. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I went in in search of a 70s outfit for a theme party and left with multiple items. Not only are the prices reasonable, I loved the 50% off rack that had some fun finds. Such a fun store! Will be back for vintage items for every day wear too. Thx Modtex!

Really truly enjoy & appreciate the boutique, vintage & thriftique experience of ModTex. Inspiring atmosphere, with great attention to detail & service, the very best of any store of this kind in DTFullerton. I adore buying men’s apparel for my disabled brother, & my boyfriend here, to keep their style handsome. Left with long & short button downs, fitted shorts & one dress pant for their summer wardrobes. Amazing selection & quality, exactly what I would expect to see at Nordstrom’s men’s dept. Including: Jack by BB Dakota, Penguin, Insight, classic surf brands, etc. Also, found some really great quality & unique layering pieces for myself to pair with my Free People & Urban basics at home. The selling & buying experience here is superior than with local competitors, always a pleasure & will be returning season after season for more exciting finds for my men & myself.

Never been a fan of secondhand clothing. Well this place changed that. In less than 5 minutes I had 2 amazing dresses in my hands. One I wore that night and got great reviews. The place is very clean unlike other consignment stores around, it didn’t stink or felt old. Great buy!

The music in here was so loud and obnoxious, it was hard to stay in here. There was a remix on that sounded like a modified emergency broadcast from the TV. Luckily they put regular music on after everybody was covering their ears in pain…
My Fiancé didn’t find what she was looking for and didn’t want to have the eye candy stripped from the mannequin, this is a regular issue…
We hit every one of these type stores on the street and this was about the least of the bunch.

I was expecting a two story store… I guess that was an older version of the store? There’s only one level and it’s organized very well but it is somewhat small.
Anyway, the place is just another vintage (that word makes me cringe, I hate that word) shop. They’re glorified thrift shops!
And $ 14 for a Merona (Target’s brand) shirt or $ 14 for an Old Navy shirt! That’s practically what it would cost brand new!
As far as men’s clothing the store is very limited.

I saw a $ 3 leather skirt and some really nice dresses but they didn’t fit well on me.
Place is organized, they had some nice shoes. The clothing that they were selling had some nice designs. Most were under $ 20. The staff was ok, didn’t really interact with them.
They do take card.

I love, love, love Modtex.
Most of the clothes I wear on a daily basis are from here, such as my French Connection jumper, black velvet BB Dakota tank, and white Sparkle & Fade jacket.
Better than Buffalo Exchange by a long shot. First of all, none of that attitude you get at buffalo. Secondly, no cigarette or BO smell. Thirdly, its more well lit and welcoming than that bat cave that is Buffalo.
I can spend hours here… which is why next time, I’ll leave the boyfriend at home (:

A thrifter’s delight!!! I have to say that everything in the store is about $ 20 and under, most shirts and blouses ranging around $ 8 and much less packed than Buffalo Exchange — a similar buy, sell, and trade establishment across the street.
I had some left overs that Buffalo Exchange wouldn’t buy off of me, so the good people at Mod Tex took a look in the bag of «untouchables» and bought five items from me! Pleasant surprise and left with new clothes on the store credit I received.
Will definitely be back!

Not as well-​curated as Buffalo Exchange across the street, but their women’s selection was fairly decent. The guy’s section looked way more promising than the ladies’. They have a few racks specifically for «vintage» (or what is now considered vintage, anyway) clothing. I found a cutecutecute American Apparel lace/​chiffon dress here for $ 10, so if you filter carefully, you can really find a steal or two!
If you’re looking to sell, it’s 40% cash back and 50% store credit – way better than Buffalo’s rate, anyway, but because they price things lower, it might just even itself out.
Watch out for the step in the middle of this store – I’m clumsier than a horse on two feet and almost fell to my untimely death when I walked over it unawares.
But the employees are nice, and it’s worth a browse, especially if you’re in the area!

Nice guys, return to Fullerton’s thrift-​store roots at actual thrift store prices. Good finds, awesome jackets, great shirts — some western snaps, plaids, etc… and military coats, shoes, boots, etc…
Jason the manager was exceptionally helpful and friendly, even pulling a mannequin down off of a high shelf so that my lady could take a look at a skirt they had posted up there.
Great prices (hope they remain) and nice staff. Look forward to coming back. Oh and no deadly dust or stink like Buffalo Exchange (no offense, B.E.!).

I’m not sure how anyone can give this place less than 5 stars.
Most days the entire store is 50% off. The store is SUPER organized. The upstairs has a great selection of vintage and the most adorable selection of dresses!
Downstairs, everything is at thrift store prices so it’s easy to catch a deal… but you’re going to have to dig. I found an adorable dress and a military jacket for $ 3 each and it was half off fay, so I only paid $ 1.50 for each!
As for upstairs, it’s much easier to find things, but then again, the prices are higher. If it wasn’t for the 50% off I’d say that a lot of the things upstair were too expensive, but when they’re half off the price is just right. I’ve found countless dresses that ranges from $ 5 – 8 upstairs (on 50% off day.)
So just be patient and devote some time, and I almost guarantee that you will find some treasure here!

I think I have that Molly-​Ringwald-​Pretty-​In-​Pink syndrome going on. I don’t know how to sew but one day I dream of fashioning a killer dress out of scraps and old garments. Since I was a teen I have loved thrifting, malls have never appealed to me and I don’t want to wear the same jeans and tee everyone else got at Old Navy.
So when I come to Rewear Warehouse I’m excited because I never know what I will find. It’s important that you have an open mind and be flexible. Finding the perfect red dress may not be a possibilty but perhaps you’ll discover a great summer dress, or a cozy red sweater. Be open.
Downstairs you’lll find all the typical thrift store finds. Stop wasting your money buying knick-​knacks for your home at Target. Buy some picture frames here instead, spray paint them and nail those suckers to the wall. Pick up a set of martini glasses, and if you’re feeling really ambitious take home the big wooden dresser, sand it down, repaint it, replace the hardware and use it as a entertaiment console in your living room.
When you go upstairs you’ll find the vintage section. All the good clothing finds have already been filtered out and placed upstairs with vintage pricetags to match. Here I found all sorts of 70’s vibe blouses, a really cool wrap dress, and I want to keep going back… there’s a stack of hand knit colorful afghans that would look great at home.
Come on the weekends, everything is half off and when you’re done there’s a Goodwill a few doors down.

Rewear is better than a normal thrift stores. The place is huge. You could spend hours browsing their collection.
As with all thrift stores, there is a bunch of random stuff you don’t want, but once in a while you come across that gem you can’t live without. I just think most of their stuff is overpriced, but they have discount days which really helps.
