Best prices in north orange county. Consistently at least 40−50% cheaper than other places in Fullerton to replace brake pads, change headlights, change air condition filters. I won’t go anywhere else.

I’ve been coming here for the past 5 years now and this place is reliable and won’t rip you off. I’ve probably been here 7 or so times to fix radiators, break pads, engine leaks, engine starter, cam shaft, etc and every time no one in OC area can beat their prices. I highly recommend Jays with all car repairs.

I just randomly found this place on Unilocal because I desperately needed an oil change. I hate seeing that little light that indicates that you are due for one. I got an oil change within 20 minutes, no wait. From reading the previous reviews, luckily, I didn’t have a problem with any language barrier because the owner’s son was available and he speaks fluent English.
I only paid $ 40 for a synthetic oil change. I’m used to usually paying around $ 45 – 55 around this neighborhood.
I finally found my go-​to place for oil changes!

They are OK to me. Nothing special. It is very near from my home. Straight forward, very quick service. Very reasonable price. The most important is they are honest I think. Quick service! I understand that customer service can be low to some because of the language barrier but as an occasional customer they are really careful and honest in what they do.
Came in for a tire repair and an oil change.
I came in the morning for both services on different days. They open at 7 AM so it was perfect for me who needed to get in and out before work. They were quick and attentive with their service. Just drive in and let them know what’s up with your car and they’ll get to it.
Oil change was $ 25 and I went on a weekend and I only had to wait for 10 to 15 minutes for the entire thing.

I was referred to Jay’s by an acquaintance I should’ve atleast noticed that this place has only 3 questionable reviews which happen to be 5 stars … I just called at 3:00 today to see what time was best to drop off my extra car that I hardly drive to get tuned up.
I’m very polite on the phone, I started by saying «Hi, my name is …, I’d like to» and BAM, I WAS BLATANTLY HUNG UP ON.
I’m currently writing this review from an auto repair service down the street. They were kind enough to let me finish speaking and letting them know what I needed.

I always get really scared going to an auto center by myself because people tend to rip me off. The people at Jay’s Auto are so honest and kind that I feel really comfortable and confident that they will do a great job on my car.
Their price is very reasonable and sometimes they do things for free since I’m a regular customer. I sometimes feel bad going in for really minor problems and them having to fix them for free.
I have recommended this place to my friends and they are now regulars to this place as well!

I’ve been going to Jay Auto for 20 years. I’ve gone through 6 cars and Jay took care of all of them from my humble college car Nissan 240SX to my weekend toy, Acura NSX! From doing simple things like oil changes, brake jobs, factory scheduled maintenance, to big fixes like replacing water pumps and timing belts – Jay can fix them all. His prices are fair and does the job in a timely fashion. He is open M-​Sat from 7am-​7pm which is great and all I do is call him ahead of time to see if he has time to see my car that day. His busiest are Monday, Friday and Saturdays so I tend to stay away on those days. Best part is there are car rental places nearby so when I drop off at Jay’s, I have one of them come pick me up and I can rent a car for the day. One time Jay couldn’t readily find what was wrong with my car so he came in on a Sunday (his day off) to fix it. He eventually got it running again but that kind of loyalty and dedication sticks with you. Like I said, Jay is honest and fair. Two things that are worth their weight in gold when it comes to mechanics. Trust me, I’ve gone to sleezy ones before and if you find someone like Jay, you tend to stick to him. I did, for 20 years.

This place is great! We come here whenever we need something fixed on our car. They’re really affordable and so nice. I think it’s Korean owned. My boyfriend is always getting nails in his tires because he works in construction ad they fix it for 5 bucks. Pep boys does it for 20!!! I recommend this place to all of my friends all the time.
