History

Established in 2012.

I Got Corals started in the year of 2012 as an online Saltwater Live Stock business and quickly grew into one of the top online vendors for the saltwater market. In October of 2014 I Got Corals purchased a retail location (Previously known as So Cal Tropical Fish Outlet) and began renovating this area to make it a top notch saltwater and freshwater live stock retail store. Here at I Got Corals you can find great customer service with knowledgable and friendly staff and a full line of products, fish and coral along with affordable prices.

Awesome location with great people running the place. They were helpful and patient with me and my kids in the store. In regards to the coral, the selection was excellent. If you want economically priced corals or high end pieces, they will have an extensive selection of both, and the high end selection are rarities and new pieces you don’t see at most shops. I was very happy with my visit to I Got Corals and definitely spent as much as I could. This is my go to spot from now on. My kids were also excited about the visit as they got to add some fish to their freshwater tanks. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks to the owners of the store, will return again and again.

I was searching Craig’s list for frags when I came across their ad. Well I knew the store but did not know it had a new name. I came here quite often in the past and since I believe it’s under new ownership. I wanted to check it out. When I walked in I noticed it was a lot cleaner than before and was very pleased.
The name speaks for itself because they got corals. A massive selection. I really liked the $ 10 frag tanks there was a huge variety for only $ 10. Tons of mushrooms, different color favias, zoas, etc. Also $ 20 and $ 30 tanks had some huge pieces, which I personally would consider show pieces. I believe it was George who helped me out. Really nice guy had a nice conversation and have me some tips on coral placements to maximize health and growth.
All fish and coral looked healthy and ready for a new home. I do plan on returning in the future. I’m also looking forward to seeing their booth at the marine aquarium expo. Come on down and check the store out folks!

Bryan has always helped me out. They have done a great job of revamping the store and preventing pests weather that’s aptasia or quarantining fish. In fact it’s the only store I know of that truly quarantines if you ask. There is additional expenses such as medication tied to quarantined fish.
Great store, good selection (and it’s still improving), and fair pricing on quality goods.
