The staff goes out of their way to help me with any issue I have. They are professional, friendly, and genuinely care about their customers.

This is place is without a doubt the worst storage I have ever been to. Service was horrible and the property manager is useless! I would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone. I would give them a 0 star if possible

This place is horrible. The manger didnt help me at all. Prices went up without notice and everything. This was the worst place ever to store my belonging

The one stare is undeserved. I wanted to publish a review as a warning to all customers that would have entrusted their valued possession in the care of Guardian Self Storage. All of my precious items were STOLEN at Guardian Self Storage in Fullerton California. Also this was a family owned business, unfortunately I believed they would have been more HONORABLE. I left my VALUED belongs in 2008 in order to work oversees. My career required traveling. My intention was to leave my most precious treasures in their care until I purchased a home. I believed it was better to leave my items at their establishment instead of moving them risking damage. Well, sadly for me that would have been a better choice. This summer upon returning home I was HORRIFIED, GRIEF STRICKEN, and HURT to discover all my valuables were stolen. I can not replace what was taken from me because the gifts were given from family members that have passed on. I held on to all my childhood dolls because when I was ill they comforted me through difficult times. I remembered how my mother purchased and selected all my dolls as gifts. Additional items stolen were special electronic games, flute from band, inherited china, clothing, shoes, bags, coin collection, my art work, grandmothers jewelry and antique bags. Not only were my items stolen from me, my money as well. Guardian Self Storage Profited from my contract of several years. There was no reason to allow my items for profit or person possession.
The treatment that I received after I filled a police report WAS WITH DISREPECT, DISTAIN, DISHONESTY AND DISREGARD. The only thing the manager stated, was maybe a family member took my items because the lock was not tampered with. I wish I would have listened to my mother she did not believe the wall was completely secured, the bolts were on the outside of the unit wall and could easily be removed. In addition I spoke to a relative whom worked for the police department and I was informed that locks are not 100% secure, any thug can undo a lock. I have two family members that are alive, why would they steal the gifts that they gave to me. In addition most of my family members are passed, did they rise up to take their gifts back. I am confident this was an inside job, only an employee knows my code and how to turn off the alarm, rig the computer and access my items, or otherwise remove a wall. My family is educated, I am a college professor and school counselor. My two remaining family members have their own money, they don’t need my stuff.
Guardian self-​storage did not take responsibility or ownership of the problem. In addition I requested a copy of my contract and never received it. What I received in the mail was a certified letter to pay or quite with insurmountable fees that were unwarranted and clearly undeserved. My mother reviewed the bill and noted multiple fees that I was assessed and overcharged. Till this day I never received a copy of my original contract. My items are about sentimental value. To have someone go through my life belongings and select what they want is a violation of my contract and citizenship rights. I paid for I service of which I did not receive. ONCE AGAIN IF YOU VALUE YOUR ITMES, AND HARD EARNED DOLLARS, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ITEMS AT GUARDIAN SELF-​STORAGE. I believe this was my civil obligation to inform fellow community members in order that this never happens to another individual.
