So we lived at Greenhouse apartments for two years. FIRST and foremost, their CARES team is AMAZING … they have great fun events and it’s an enjoyable community atmosphere. The CARES team work hard to make that happen. That’s really the only reason we stayed for the second year. Year one: started out with constant complaints from our neighbor for being«loud.» My husband and I are young professionals, gone most of the day, and lived in the shitty little loft they charge WAY too much money for. The only loudness was us watching movies at low volume with the sub OFF. Consistent cricket, roach and ant problems. Like, they’d literally waltz in under the door. I saw it happen. HUGE brown widow infestation — like, in one night about every two weeks I’d kill 10 – 15 on our patio alone. Not cool. They need to rip out all the greenery and just leave gravel or something. Another big complaint was the fountain in the courtyard that leaked consistently. California’s in a drought, but Satellite management can find it reasonable to refill a leaking fountain every week. Year two: We signed at a «lower rate» because they tried to increase our rent by $ 400. FOURHUNDREDDOLLARS. For that shitty little loft. ALSO, if you move in to the loft — you will be sorry. Plan to just put your whole bed and everything downstairs because during the summer your electric bill will be $ 120 and the wall unit AC that’s DOWNSTAIRS will not be enough to cool it upstairs. Also, putting tinfoil in the window helps a TON but wait — you guessed it, it’s not allowed. Truthfully, management is ok. Peter’s nice. I think he’s kinda clueless though, and takes a non confrontational route. Which isn’t very fair considering the meth head neighbors we had ended up vandalizing our motorcycle and car by keying them. LAUNDRYROOMS: I can pretty much guarantee you that your laundry will be stolen, the washers won’t work, or the dryers will put holes in your clothes. Spend money and go to another laundromat. POOL: it’s fine I guess. However they had to shut it down due to «unsafe amounts of bacteria» and resurface the jacuzzi. Overall, they get to price gouge because they can. This property is a sister property to the three other ones in the immediate radius. ALSO — Wilson doesn’t live at greenhouse, he just went around on all the apartment’s Unilocal’s and left 5 star reviews. I’m assuming because the manager asked him to. Oh and please enjoy this photo documentation I have been collecting over the two years

I have no idea why people rated this complex so low. It is quite and a really easily place to live. Peter the manager is really cool and the community is great for families with kids. They have great landscape and host community events 3 times a month!

These apartment don’t have central A/C. The small A/C is mounted on the wall and will never cool your apartment completely. With the recent hot weather in O. C that’s been lasting year around… you’re going to hate it. Imagine blasting the A/C on full, paying for all that electricity… and still sitting there sweating. Worse, imagine trying to sleep at night… There are 2 idiots running the office. One is in the front desk. The other one in the back. One is man, the other a women. And one of ‘em is the manager. Hope this Unilocal

I have a friend who has lived here for the past couple of years. It’s a decent place to live but can get noisy from some residents playing music too loud. Guest parking is a problem if you’re coming to visit in the evening, though normally there are spots in the back of the complex. It’s walking distance to Target and 7 – 11 and probably an easy bike ride to CSUF.
