I needed to replace a very small part of my laminate flooring. When I called other companies in the area, either they did not return my message or simply pushed me away with some excuse (I assume because my job request was too small). However, not Ray.
Ray at Fullerton Flooring picked up my call on the first ring and was so professional. Although my request was a small job, he still treated me as if I was an important customer.
He left my house with the job done, the place clean, and me happy. I honestly could have not expected a better service. He is so honest, friendly, and professional.

Ray has been great. He was prompt and friendly, and helped us with a couple of special issues. The floors look very nice and his follow up was professional also. His price was about the same as another contractor, but Ray was much more responsive.

This review has been way overdue. Ray and his team at Fullerton Flooring is hands down amazing. I called and spoke to many flooring specialists near the Orange County area and Ray was the only responsive person to take initiative. I received quotes from many, but no one wanted the business. I own several businesses and have been in sales for many years. The attributes of staying hungry and humble goes a long way. Initially I thought that the pricing was fair, but once looking at the work & time that actually goes into laying down hardwood for stairs is no joke. What impressed me the most was the flexibility of staff that worked around my schedule. They quoted 3 – 4 days for the entire project and had it completed in 2 days (full days). Amazing quality!
I ended up giving the difference that I negotiated as a tip to the worker which ended up being still a great deal. I always believed in treating people right and paying for quality. I’ll never pay a $ 1 more for something I know I don’t have to, but I also give way more than asked when I know they deserve it.
If you’re considering a flooring vendor give Ray a call and he will personally come out to give you a fair quote.

Ray and his team are great! They put a beautiful acacia hardwood floor and installed a subfloor in a large room in our house. He doesn’t give you a hardsell, you helped us get exactly what we wanted. He communicated with us often, keeping us up-​to-​date on what was happening. They worked in a timely manner, and were very neat in their clean-​up.
When we replace the carpet in our bedrooms in the future, FF is who we will call. I feel like I didn’t just get a flooring/​carpet guy for life, I felt like I made a friend.

Ray is a flake. He does not return phone calls left on his work phone for days, makes appointments to schedule an appointment in person to provide a quote and does not follow through, and then after dragging you along for two weeks «checks his schedule and says he is booked for two months… thanks for your business».
What? What business?
Ray it is not all about you and your business.
I would not give you any business because these are warning signs of someone that is NOT professional.
People’s time is valuable too. You just delayed me by two weeks! Try thinking about other people first and their schedules, and be honest at the start!

Ray is fantastic! He did a great job ripping out our moldy and gross bathroom floor. We thought we’d end up getting raked over the coals by a flooring company, but not so with Ray. We wanted to get rid of the carpet in our great room and go with wood, so we started getting estimates from various contractors. One contractor told us that the 60 year wood floor under the carpet could not be refinished. They just wanted to sell us new hardwood. On the scene comes Fullerton Flooring who said that it could be done and it will be beautiful. Well let me tell you, it turned out absolutely gorgeous and looks like a brand new floor. We also had a bathroom with 30 year old + wallpaper and vinyl flooring. Fullerton Flooring installed new porcelain tile, removed the wall paper, and painted this bathroom. This bathroom now has an updated look/​feel while retaining the retro character… I love the old pink sinks. This look is coming back in newer homes.
Ray the owner walked us through each step to make sure that we got what we wanted. Throughout the entire project, he was hands on. They do exceptional work, and take their time to do it correctly. We have additional projects that need to be done, and when we are ready we will use no one else but Fullerton Flooring.

After jaded experiences with big and small name businesses, I thought the standard of flooring was — in the least — a song and dance of making you feel special with bogus «calls to the manager» for price reduction or last minute specials, or at worst, very poor workmanship that has left us needing two different floor repairs.

We have used Fullerton Flooring on two different projects (2 different homes) and we have been so pleased both times. We needed carpet in bedrooms as well as on stairs. One of the bedrooms had been damaged by a cat and they were able to pull everything up, clean it out and lay down new carpet. Ray was SO quick and the quality is excellent. Fullerton Flooring exceeded our expectations they went above and beyond to help us find a solution to our bathroom nightmare. My dad discovered a «leak» from what seemed to be the toilet, he proceeded to fix it, when he discovered that the leak had ruined the wood flooring underneath the bathroom vinyl. My dad is a very good handy man but he realized this was far beyond his capacity and that’s when he decided to call in the professionals.
We had three different flooring companies come out to quote the project, they were okay with replacing the vinyl floor but they did not seem to know what to do with the damage floor underneath. When Ray showed up he knew just what to do he explained in a very detailed matter what needed to be done and the material that would be needed to fix and beautify the floor. Ray also suggested that we go out and check out a flooring project he was currently working do we could get an idea of the quality Of work and services Fullerton Flooring provides. We did just that and found out that his team is very professional and diligent in what they do.
They got started on the job, did just as he said and finished within 6 hours, they cleaned up very nicely and our bathroom looks great, he worked within our budget and was honest about his work. I would strongly recommend that you give them call for all your flooring needs.

Saved me $ 2000.00 in minutes. Two other floor companies told me I needed new floors, then I spoke with Royce and Reza, two very honest guys. They said I can use the existing floor just need sanding, stain coats ans finish coats. Those guys were right on, the floors look brand new and saved a ton of money. Also the sales lady Cindy is first class.
