I was very iffy coming in, I needed to make an apt for my 6yr old daughter ASAP and they were the closest to home. After calling and making the appt I thought I would check them out on Unilocal,to see what I’m getting us into, well the reviews are pretty bad. So I was speaking to family questioning if I should even go in. Monday comes and I decide what’s the worst that can happen I’ll go in check it out for myself and it’s just an exam, no biggy! I walk in and was greeted by Edward! He gave me an iPad to fill out some info, so easy! My daughter was called back immediately after returning the iPad! We then are in the care of Mr. Preston! He took all the X-​rays and pics for Kai, again this is her very first dentist appt so he made her feel comfy and answered any and all questions she had! She ended up having to get some cavities done, poor baby, but Edward then explained all the stuff that insurance covered and let me decide if I would like to proceed with treatment or schedule an appt! He was amazing! We decide to come I the next day, and Marissa is the one to assist the dentist for Kai’s first procedure, she was again so nice and patient with Kai talking her thru and making sure she was comfortable! At the filling appointment we met a new dentist to us but their regular Monday dentist and omg loveeeeed her! She didn’t generator the work no injection and Kai did amazing!!! I feel so bad for the previous reviews with the old staff, they ruined the name for Fullerton family dental, but I know once people see for themselves it’ll be old news!!! Everyone here is so nice, so welcoming, and most important trustworthy! This will be our dentist from here on out, I’m so happy I gave them a chance!!! Thank you Fullerton family dental for making Kailees first experience the very best!!!

This place is amazing. I definitely recommend coming here. They are super friendly and make you feel very comfortable. It had been a while since I had gone to the dentist and I was so nervous to come in for my appointment and they made me feel welcomed and reassured me that I would be very well taken care of & that I was! They went above and beyond to explain everything in detail to Better understand my situation. Super friendly staff. This place Definitely deserve more than 5 stars! Thanks Iran and everyone there for making my experience at the dentist a great one!

1. They try so hard to over sell you on procedures that you don’t need– and sadly if u TRUST them u end up OVERPAYING I would NOT refer anyone going here, if a business takes advantage of you and lies then what other horrible things are they doing!
2. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS! They bug the shit out of u! Worst then telemarketing! my bills were paid in cash (oh they offer u a cheaper price if u pay in cash… Hmmm… Big RED flag!) I owe them nothing so there is no reason to hassle me and call me once a week to get me to go back in. It got so bad that I blocked the office phone number that the employees were calling me on their cell phone! They even text and email u, begging for you to come back! It was actually hilarious I was at dinner with friends last night and one of the people there was complaining about this place (and he never complains) EXACT SAME COMPLAINTS as my review!

It’s a shame how I have had to wait about a year now just to get my wisdom tooth out you can imagine the pain and future damage that is already causing. Now I bite down on my cheek and I cannot even articulate correctly without it causing pain or pressing down even harder. They kept saying I needed all this extra work that I never even needed they were just trying to scam some quick money out of me by BSing costs that didn’t even apply. They have gone through 2 rounds of staff most likely due to their reputation. The really friendly one I love is Preston. He gets 100 gold stars and the reason this place did not get a –5 in dislikes. Just saying.

I’m very happy that I gave Fullerton family dental a chance!!. I just moved into my new apartment in Fullerton and I was a bit nervous about finding a dentist. With Unilocal it can be difficult when seeing reviews of dentist since most people aren’t doctors lol … Apparently it’s a new staff. I was greeted properly, explained my treatment properly and they are willing to work with me. I didn’t need much but whatever they said I needed I felt comfortable knowing that I was going to be treated with care. Thank you guys!

i came in for a check up and a cleaning. it had been a while since i had visited a dental office so i was nervous. right when i walked in i was greeted with a smile and 2 minutes after arriving i was directed to the back to get my xrays done. marisa was very nice and professional. Dr lee was very gentle and made me feel comfortable. i will definitely be back for my 6 month check up. thanks fullerton family dental. i would recommend this place looking for good dental care.

I don’t believe this business to be a legitimate Dental Office. On a superficial level everything seems great, but then they start talking you in to getting extra procedures done that really aren’t necessary & the way they run their operations isn’t the way it should be. They gave me an appointment to have my wisdom teeth removed & the day of my appointment I show up, having asked for days off from work, it all was a waste of time. I was told that they could not go through with the procedure for the reason that my insurance had not approved it yet. Ok. so i talk to my mom, who is a dental assistant herself, & she says that they should not have given me the appointment in the first place until it was approved by my insur. That made sense, but her & I don’t live anywhere near each other & me, at the time, did not give any thought to it. There’s just something sketchy about it all, & to top it off, that same day I received a text message to my personal cell phone from one of the «assistants» whom I never gave my number to. How? He obviously felt comfortable enough to go through my «confidential» file & grab my number for himself, very unprofessional. I regret trusting this place & hopefully I can have all my information withdrawn from their hands.

This place is the worst !!!
I’ve had braces for many years and I’ve had many cavities filled in my life and not once have they ever drilled my teeth so badly that I could not even talk let alone chew my food comfortably. This place is horrible, they try to push a «root canal «when it is not even necessary. Please do not fall for their lies and get a second opinion from another dentist. I left this place with three cavities filled and for the next four months I was taking 800 mg ibuprofen because my mouth was in pain every single day from them drilling my teeth so badly and hitting nerves in my mouth. When I went back for a check up they told me the reason why my mouth was in so much pain was because I needed that root canal done which was not even true when I got a second opinion. I definitely would never recommend this place to anybody I have lost my trust and dentistry.
Like I said I’ve had braces for many years and have been to the dentist many times in my life and not once was my mouth in so much pain for that long. That was really a horrible time in my life I’m glad I found another place I could trust.

HO-​RRI-​BLE! DON’T GO HERE! they were pushy in selling me extras I didn’t need, took forever to see me and my appointment was taking too long I rescheduled for them to finish what they started…

Worse place ever, Please save your time and your ins $ and do not go there. I don’t know how much they’re charging my ins but I can’t wait to find out. Unprofessional rude front desk girl and a guy.

My daughter and I have been patients at Fullerton Family Dental for several years. No One really want to go to the dentist, but Dr. Lee and staff have made each and every appointment fun, comfortable and painless. The entire staff from the dental assistants, the office manager to the hygienist are all very friendly and knowledgable. My appointments are always on time and I’ve never had to wait more than 5 min in the lobby. I’ll put it this way, I use to live further away and choose to visit 18 miles away.

Dr. Lee has an amazing staff. I live an hour away and it’s worth the drive. I’ve been coming to see Dr. Lee since I was a kid. She is a caring and gentle Doctor.

I have been bringing my boys here for a while. Dr. Lee is really good with the little ones.
The office and staff are really nice. They especially work with you and the insurance to make sure it is not too expensive.
I really recommend this place to new patients.

I came in for a regular check-​up. I hadn’t been in about 5 years, since my insurance changed. I’ve read other reviews that ownership has changed since — not sure if that’s the reason for the pitiful customer service …
I called ahead for an appointment and gave them my insurance information and they assured me that everything would be squared away for when I came in. I waited 30 minutes before I was seen. I got up after 15 minutes and asked what the problem was. The girl at the front desk said she was calling to approve my insurance, so that’s why it was taking so long. She was sitting there on hold the whole time. Ugh!
I got a quick exam — when they were finished, I told them I had to go, since I had to get home, I was at the dentist for over 2 ½ hours at this point. After that, I was asked to wait again in the waiting room, so they could set up my appointment. I waited 5 minutes and then told them I had to leave. The front desk girl nonchalantly said «oh, okay, we’re busy, we’ll call you …» They hadn’t given me any feedback on my exam at this point, no pricing information, nothing. I asked if I could get some information before coming back and they said «Dan» was coming in late and he’d call me asap with pricing. TMI, about Dan, just call me and give some info already!
A couple days went by and still no information. They called to try and set up an appointment and this time I let them know how upset I was. I spoke to the manager who assured me he would call back personally with the info. No such thing happened. Finally, «Dan» calls back rattles off some pricing, first thing he says is «this isn’t covered by your insurance, but we’ll give you a deal.» He says $ 42/​filling instead of $ 75. I ask him about pricing for wisdom teeth extraction, he says $ 280 per tooth. I then, ask him for the dental codes for all procedures. He quickly puts me on hold and then says, «we’re going to give you a discount, $ 25/​filling, instead of $ 42. The manager wants you to have a discount.» I say «ok, can I get the codes for that?» He gives them to me, I scan my insurance sheet and then see that those are offered at NO COST from my insurance. He then says, well that’s not really what you need, it’s not a filling, it’s just a sealant, which you don’t really need.” Um, what?! Okay, so I ask about the wisdom teeth and that it shows it this is also covered. He then explains that they have an outside specialist come in for extractions and that doctor does not accept my insurance. So I ask if I can see another doctor. He informs me that he can get me a referral! Are you serious? You weren’t going to tell me this? You’re going to let me drop over $ 1100? When my insurance covers this? I was so shocked that this was happening.
Do not go here. These people are frauds and will rip you off if you are not well informed on exactly what is covered by your insurance provider. Do the research, print out your dental coverage codes ALWAYS before trusting anything a dentist has to say.

I love the staff and Dr. Lee at Fullerton Family Dental. I have gone regular cleanings, filings, deep cleanings, and braces with this office. They really work with insurance companies to see how much is covered, since dental insurance really does not cover maintenance work like a regular medical HMO does. They set up payment plans for high cost dental work and do an automatic deduction each month. Which is great so I didn’t have to take time to drive there every month to drop off a check for my braces.
They work really well with trying to schedule an appointment around my work schedule. I normally schedule well in advance, but when I have braces they have agreed to stay late or squeeze me in when I was able to get into the office.
They also explain all dental work they suggest to me and if one the assistants can not answer my questions, they have no problem asking dentist or Ortho the question or having them to come talk to me. Which I preferred, because I understand assistants will know a great deal of information, but they are not doctors or orthodontics and some questions will need to answers by Dr. Lee.
My entire family goes to Dr. Lee. Her office staff even sent flowers to my aunt when she went to the hospital for respiratory failure.
I could go on and on about this office, but I have always had a good experience with the Dr. Lee and her staff. I have never felt cheated or that the work was not done well enough. Especially, after they help fix my overbite and saved me from a surgery that another dentist said I would have to go under. I am still very grateful with Dr. Lee and her staff for helping me (after 27 years) fix my overbite.

I had a deep cleaning & anti biotic treatment here. and they charged me $ 360. that was even discounted prices.
Well, after 3 weeks, I moved to other dentist, they did cleaning again…
From this dentist, the deep cleaning was useless and wasting my money here…
Also, I had a not good insurance so it requires referral from the doctor to get some treatment… I haven’t got any referral from this dentist for over a month now… They just offered me to do dental job in cash prices…
Please be aware this dentist…

This used to be a really good trusting practice. You never had to wait much and were never asked to get unnecessary work done. But then the ownership changed about 5 years ago.
Now they have only one mission, make money. It feels like assembly line deal now. They actually try to collect a co-​pay on the spot even when you don’t have a co-​pay. So I stopped going there.

I booked an appointment specifically for a teeth cleaning at Fullerton Family Dental. After driving an hour to get there, I arrived and they said that they would not do a teeth cleaning as it was my first time coming to them! Who says that to a customer who wants the service! They then said that they would have to do a full set of xrays on my teeth and THEN schedule an appointment to come back for a cleaning. They also said that I needed $ 6000 worth of work done on my teeth. I have always been told by my dentists that I have fabulous teeth and I think they were just scratching at trying to come up with something so that they could charge my awesome dental insurance up the wahoo. Please, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! They are scammers and quite untrustworthy!
