I sent three children through Fern Drive school overall I think it is a decent elementary school. Now that I no longer have any children going here I would like to say one thing. Ms Kennedy is a horrible teacher. She belittles and berates children who need extra attention or struggles with academics. She puts on a front of a caring teacher however in the classroom she is the opposite. In my experience as a classroom volunteer she treated the non white students poorly.

My daughter has been going to this school since Kindergarden she is now in third grade. She loves going to school every morning and enjoys it very much. All the teachers and staff are really nice. So far as a mom I had a good experience and hope to continue this experience till she graduates !!!

Ms. Choo lacks leadership ability to handle problems when addressed to her. It is sad when a child is allowed to be bullied because she’s not a favorite child. What happened to school being a safe place for kids? Not here because Ms. Choo only cares about being a blue ribbon school. The lunch lady was allowed to yell at the kids when they didn’t put their money on their lunch account. This is unacceptable!!!
