Excel Fleet Limo

Jose, our driver was excellent! The mini coach that we rented was very nice and clean and complete with Christmas colored strobe lights. We would absolutely use this limo company again. A++

We used Excel Fleet Limo for our daughter’s wedding and were very pleased with the customer service provided by Evelyn and with the professionalism of the drivers. Evelyn confirmed our limos the day before and advised she was substitutng a different limo when the air went out on the one we had booked. We reserved two blocks of time for shuttling guests from the hotel to the wedding venue and to shuttle guests back to the hotel at the end of the event. Both drivers arrived promptly and made several trips back and forth to accommodate our guests. At the end of the evening the driver had champagne for the bride and groom. The service we received from Excel Fleet was exactly what we had hoped for!

I give this review a star only because I had too for the post. I had booked the service of this company for my wedding day. Evelyn was great and gave great customer service the times I spoke with her prior to our wedding day, I will say that. We got the spacious limo in white and yes the limo was spacious and white but that’s all I can say about it. When it was time to pick me up we were told by the limo driver that they would have to put the windows down because the AC was not working. My first thought was why did they not think about this before coming and picking us up. I am sure they had more than enough time to think «The AC is not working, that is unacceptable in 90 degree weather», but no they proceeded with picking us up. Not only was it what seemed to be 10 times hotter in the limo because the driver kept the fans blowing hot air out on us. After the ceremony we were given the coach aka «party bus» and the AC was not any better. The bride (me) and groom were covered in sweat from it being so hot inside a party bus with 8 other people. Never once were we accommodated or discounted for the horrible service we received. As a bride the drive is a part of setting the mood for your wedding to and from your location when you have to travel and the service we were given put a damper on our enjoyment because we were so uncomfortable. I would not recommend nor will I ever use this company’s service in the future!

All I can say is that Evelyn at Excel Fleet Limo was an absolute pleasure to work with, she helped me out of a real jam! Great customer service.

I highly recommend you NOT use Excel Fleet Limo (their name is quite deceptive). Not only was the driver extremely rude, she refused to drive my party home. You book a limo when you know you need reliable and safe services and «excel» fleet limo failed miserably in this regard endangering my party and our safety. If you want to make it to your destination AND HOME, then DO NOT use this company.

Great customer service! Evelyn was very helpful. Day before event she called me regarding the limo we booked had problems, she then did a free upgrade! It was what we expected and more! Nestor was our chauffeur he was awesome! He did a great job in taking care of us and having patience with us! Will do business with them once again!

Limo was nice, but very night club-​esque not classy. Expect and overtime charge!!! We were 10 minutes after the time the limo driver told bus to be there and got back to our destination 30 minutes late which incurred an extra $ 78 charge! Really? My $ 800limo rental ended up costing almost $ 950! I would’ve rather gone for the hummer and stayed in the area.

My daughter booked a limo for her senior prom. The people on the phone were very courteous and helpful. The limo arrived on time, and was everything she wanted. The driver was friendly and courteous as well. Excellent experience. Thank you!

I booked a limo two weeks prior to my wedding on June 4^th. It was during prom month but thank goodness we only needed it for the morning. It was an Asian wedding where we needed the limo to drive back and for between the groom’s and bride’s house as well as the church. The prices were great for the 7 hour service (a whole lot cheaper than what we had expected). Tip and taxes are included in their prices so it’s not awkward at then end when the limo driver leaves (of course we still tipped him anyway (more on him later).
If you call to book a limo, you would probably talk to Evelyn. I called a few times and Evelyn was always the one who answered. Hands down, she was the most nice and helpful person out of all the vendors we had spoken to. Her e-​mails and phone calls are prompt. She’s definitely on top of the game which helped take away all our stress about the limo.
Limo came on time. Limo driver came on time and was very nice and courteous. This was my first limo experience so I’m not sure if this is worth mentioning, but he drove very nicely (no heavy breaking or accelerating). Driver was also very accommodating on schedule change. Although we were charged tip prior, we still tipped him when he left. He (and the limo) even made it into our same-​day-​edit video which you can view here:
Overall, the service and customer service was outstanding. We will definitely be recommending their services to our family and friends.

I used Excel last weekend to celebrate a birthday with friends on a wine tasting tour! We had a fantastic time and the service was excellent! Before the event I was working with Evelyn and she was very helpful and made it very easy. The day of, Richard was our driver and he was very nice and professional. Would defiantly use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for limo service!

I used excel fleet limo last year for my mom’s birthday and her birthday is coming up again. I’m glad i remembered their name because we had a great time last year. we booked the elegant lincoln limo for 4 hours and i think it ended up being about 300 with the birthday package. the service was great and i have no complaints.
i would give them 5 stars if they had their hourly prices and packages on the website, it would save me lots of time

didn’t get a chance to get to know the driver (but that was entirely our fault as we were in a mad rush). picture this: the morning of our wedding, and the ONLY ROAD that accesses our chapel had a marathon on it! (thank you Wayfarer’s Chapel for giving us NO NOTICE WHATSOEVER.)
the driver was very professional, didn’t freak out and didn’t even acknowledge to us that anything was going wrong; he waited patiently and got us to the chapel (about 30 minutes later than we had hoped. but obviously not his fault).
in sum: the woman on the phone was courteous and efficient [i asked her about the negative reviews on Unilocal and she was able to explain the situation behind the other reviews], the limo was there on time, it was in the color/​condition promised, had red carpet, «just married» sign, and champagne/​soda in the limo. no complaints! recommended for sure.

We used Excel once again, this time for my sisters birthday. Again we had John as our driver, nice guy. We started in Costa Mesa, stopped at a liquor store and continued into Long Beach. We had the music blasting and the alcohol flowing. Great times.
What I liked the best, was when another hummer limo was waiting for their guest to arrive. I asked the limo driver if I could take a peak, no problem he said. Wow, Excel’s Hummer Limo was bomb compared to that chump limo. The other co. had fake wood floors and nothing exciting with the ceiling. As I may have mentioned before, Excel has the disco flooring, the mood ceiling lights, fake fish tank and fireplace. And for $ 25 more they would supply hard alcohol with soda.
Our driver Jon was a sweetheart and was totally cool with all us girls flirting with him and changing our pick up time 3x. Sorry kids he is married with kids. Had a blast and will do it again.

I rented the Excalibur on my wedding day, the car was extremely nice and unique looking, the lady was very helpful and gave me all the information, we booked from 10am to 5pm. The limo driver showed up on time and he seems OK at the beginning, so we were done with the ceremony and pictures at 3:00pm, we wanted to go back to the hotel and relax before hitting the reception but he keep saying that traffic is bad etcss… so OK, we went straight to the reception, got there around 3:30pm, he was going to drop us off and bail but I told him I rented this car until 5pm, then he said, you want me to sit here and wait until 5pm? I asked him to take the groomsman back to the hotel and he was making excuses that the company doesn’t want him to put mileage on the car. WTH??? we rented this car until 5pm and the lady told us we can use it in any ways we want… I was so piss off, I told him drop off the groomsman at the hotel and you can leave.
So if you are thinking of renting any of these cars, make sure the limo driver is a fun and out going person, or else it will ruin your day.

Excel Fleet Limo does not provide the great customer service you would expect from a Limo company. I gave them loads of business for our wedding, more than $ 1200 worth (3 limos: two 10-​passenger limos and the hummer) but they failed. I would not recommend doing business with them.
1) They showed up an hour late when picking up the bride’s family because the driver got lost.
2) They fail to communicate they are running late and delivered the bride’s family 30 minutes after the reception began.
3) The driver is instructed to go back and pick up another group of guests but returns 15 minutes later because they were unable to run the credit card. So he wastes an additional 30 minutes coming back instead of going to pick up the guests. He was going to return to the reception anyway after picking up the guest so we could have settled the credit card issue then but they don’t think at this company. A total waste of a limo.
We requested a partial refund the following day because the services we required were clearly not fulfilled and all the owner offered was a $ 50 gift card for future use with them. Why would anyone want to give them return business after the fiasco and problems they caused? They were supposed to help our guests enjoy the wedding reception but instead caused further inconvenience. Luckily we know how to have fun despite incompetent limo service.
I would stay away from a company that fails to admit their mistakes and work with the customer to come up with a reasonable resolution.
