Peruvian Alfajores

These shortbread cookies filled with Dulce de Leche and sprinkled with powdered sugar are considered a delicacy and a traditional confection in Spain and South America. Their exquisite and luxurious taste and presentation are ideal for special occasions and celebrations such as: weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, get-togethers, and will also brighten simple ordinary days!

History

Established in 2014.

The company was started by a Peruvian family that migrated to the United States. Always a family with an eye and taste for pastry confections and away from their native country, they decided to start re-visiting their favorite Peruvian desserts, and began making alfajores at home. Now proud, loving, and loyal U.S. citizens, and with great reviews of their confections by family members, friends, and friends of friends, they’ve decided to share part of their delicious culture with the community and all who would like to have a glimpse of the delicate and historic taste of the Peruvian Alfajor.
