Disney’s Character Warehouse Outlet Store

Go figure, but I think they, are, now closed and out of business. Karma or just bad business, the store is but a memory. Many outlet malls have Disney Outlet stores, I would recommend these or online Disney outlets.

This place is now closed, but I felt it deserved this review in case someone came here. They sell Disney Merchandise, a lot of it is outdated merchandise (t-​shirts from the past couple years, not the current) I did however, snag a pair of pajama bottoms that featured my beloved Mickey Mouse for like 5 bucks. If you’re willing to be underwhelmed but maybe find a gem, this would be the type of establishment to check out.

They need to remove the title Disney from this place. It’s worst than yards sales…

There wasn’t very much stuff in here. Also, very limited sizes. But I do understand. When we went in the woman told us they were going out of business in the next 2 months. Obviously explains why there were few things in here. I did get good prices on the couple of things that I did buy.

Not at all a discount or outlet or warehouse type place. Disappointed. Stuff is just as expensive (or more) than online.

This is not the kind of «warehouse» store that you will find in an outlet mall, where many of the items are specifically designed to be sold there, but are attractively merchandised. It is also nothing at all like the Disney Store. It IS, however, a great place to find a great gem or a fun souvenir at a drastically reduced price. The inventory varies widely, but you will find shirts, toys, hats, and who knows what else once it is discontinued in the park. Sometimes the shirts are crowded together or items are sold out of boxes. You won’t find every shirt in every size, or every character represented all of the time. It would be a great way to pick up a few items on a vacation, though, or a treat for the kids (or yourself) if you’re a local. Those who think that the prices are high are not comparing them to park prices, which is what these are discounted from. That’s why it could really be a huge savings from someone who was planning to buy IN PARK.
Sign up for their email list, and they will send you updates about major sales, etc. Staff was always very friendly.

The store is quite big, but they honestly need more selection.
Sales ladies were very nice and greets anyone who enters the door. I also believe it is cheaper to get Disney merchandise here.
The only catch is, selection is not that great. I was looking for stuffed toys, but, there weren’t very many to choose from. I was looking for a lightning McQueen but they only had the blue car. Probably there were about less than 20 stuffed toys and that’s not really a lot. They had quite the number of pop figurines. I think that is what the cartoonish characters with big heads are called. But you wouldn’t give that to a child. They also have figurine collectables in a big glass drawer.
There is also quite a number of clothes to look at.
However, if you are looking for toys, toys’r’us down the street would probably be a better idea.

Meh! Prices aren’t that great, lousy selection + more non-​Disney junk than anything else

Think 99-​cent store charm meets a Disney store merchandise from years past, except the prices are still a bit high. The Disney Character Warehouse Outlet Store is about a mile away from the Disneyland Resort parks, with matching atmosphere of the neighboring places (slightly ghetto).
If you’re desperate to save 50% on Disney merch, head over there. I’m not concerned about So. Cal. kids coming to grab cheap goods here, but I’d feel pretty underwhelmed if I was visiting out of state only to come over here to «save a buck.» For that disenchanting fact, two stars fell, especially since most of the merchandise they have is specifically tailored to Disneyland (DL) and Knott’s Berry farm fans. People spend good money for a good atmosphere, and it’s clear that’s not what this place is for. Per the sales attendant, they receive «new» stock every 2 – 3 weeks. Truth be told, I found a cool DL long sleeve shirt and DL sweater for 50% off, so I saved about $ 60 bucks in total… but you really have to sift through the stuff for something that doesn’t look out of date, irregular, damaged, or just worn for wear.
However, the hidden treasures here are for the trading pin collectors and the collectable figurines: I found pins from two years ago and figurines from the early 80’s. If you know your Disney items, and are missing the last couple of pins, come here and see if this might complete your set. I enjoy a good bargain and will probably visit this place in the future, but I can’t say 90% of the stuff on the floor is ‘quality’ or worth the price. Word of advise to DL first timers: get your item (s) from the park. If you’re an annual passholder like me, live locally, or are crazy enough to visit DL more than once a year: come here first, see if there’s something you like & take note; enjoy your time at the park; and THEN if you have any money left over and didn’t get anything, come back for that item you wanted over here.
Also: Annual Passholders: they do seem to honor the 10%+ discount!!! Flash your card next time you’re here & ditch tax!

Okay, so I think this place is now called Disney Character Depot, or something like that. I found this place when I went to Micheal’s next door. I’ve had it bookmarked for the longest time but never had a reason to go into the store until 2 weeks ago. BF and I were hoping to find something nice to wear for our Disneyworld trip but found nothing. A lot of the sizes were big, some we recognized were from Target. This place is stuff that you could find somewhere like Target or Walmart or things Disney store couldn’t sell. This place is probably good for kids, they’re really just out of season kind of stuff…
This was such a fail, I was bummed…

Best place to shop for your Disneyland items at sometimes 90% less than they sell at the resorts. It’s been a while since I shopped here but liked it when I did.
I would totally recommend this store to everyone before going to Disneyland, especially if you have more than one child. Huge cost savings!

Version 2.0 of this store is nowhere near what it was when it was the Disney Character Warehouse even though it claims to be owned by the same company. The selection is poor, none of the items appear to be directly from Disney, and the prices are expensive! If what you are looking for are Disney World shirts from 2007, then you’ve come to the right place. Since my family’s not nearby, we’ve always made a stop when possible if we’re visiting DLand. That tradition stops now… to my disappointment.

I went here expecting to find a bargain. Quite the opposite! They have a very limited selection with few sizes in most items (xxs or large were the only sizes in many clothes).
The staff are not very helpful and the prices are high for what they are selling. They have Harry Potter shirts for $ 17.99 that cost $ 18 online — no big discount!
Worse yet they have Disney kids’ clothing with the Walmart tag still on them! And they are selling these for $ 1.50 more than the Walmart across the road.
NOTE to non-​locals — Walmarts in Anaheim carry a large selection of Disney products for tourists. Not saying to go to Walmart — just saying their prices are better.

Waste of time — must be real hit or miss based upon other reviews.
Out of date stuff — expected.
Broken stuff — unexpected.
Expensive stuff — sort of expected (it’s Disney).
Went looking to get a few things for the kids, but went home empty handed. No hats in my kids size (2 were there, but were filthy). Tried to buy a laser gun for my boy, but every single one was broken or had dead batteries. My son wanted a Lightning Mcqueen plush, but I was going to spend $ 25 on an stuffed animal that I can buy at target for $ 12.
Good deals on stuff nobody wants like camp rock key chains @ buy 1 and get 4 free. Who wants this junk?
We walked out with nothing and went to target where we found character hats and toys for more than half off the outlet store.
Save your gas and time and pass on this place.

I went for a friend who will be taking her daughter for the first time. Its really cool to find some unique Park items here. I bought her baby a mouse ears hat (the golden hat) for 2 dollars and 2 birthday hats for .39 cents!
But other items can be ghastly expensive! But if you are a disney nerd buff you will totally have a good time here finding things that may be extincted.

I’m a HUGE Disney fan, so I was a little bit dissappointed with this place… Not as much selection that I expected and the chintzy swag that I was hoping to buy (stickers pens light up toys etc) you know the kind that the kids would play with only at the park, but then you would find under the car seats later on in the week? couldn’t find any of those. found mainly junk…
PRO: I DID get my son a $ 3.99 Pirates of the Carribean watch. prob the best deal there.
Mickey Mouse character fan? I found a total of 3 shirts there that I could find. I did end up buying a tank top shirt for $ 12.99 that had WALMART tags on it… but get this, i think i could buy it for that price or less direct from WALMART…

Is this place easy to find? Yes. You won’t miss it.
Is this place clean? Yes.
Are all items marked off? Yes.
Is this place worth it to purchase products? That’s a toss up depending who you are. Just to give everyone out there a heads up, a lot of merchandise consists of older merchandise (Example: 2005 50^th Anniversary Gold Mickey ears, Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day merch, movie merchandise from past movies like High School Musical 1, 2, 3). Personally I’m not interested in anything whenever I go.

Would I suggest you go check this place out? If you live 2 hours away no but if your in the area esp at Disneyland Resort take a little drive to check

This is my favorite permanent Disney Character Warehouse Outlet store. This location always has the deepest discounts on Disney merchandise as compared to the Pomona or Las Vegas stores.
Definitely get on their emailing list to save an additional 10% on your total purchase.

For any fan of the company, do you remember those 50^th anniversary gold ears that the parks at back in the day? Those ones that were like $ 15 per? Well this place had them buy 1 get 2 free! Yep 3 for the price of 1!
But wait there’s more!!! They’re discounted down to $ 5 for 1! That’s right folks 3 for the $ 5.
I went here hoping to find any DL half marathon swag that might be marked down but was not lucky. They apparently have a 2 month lag before they get the «new» stuff.
If you have kids who want park merch, go here. Unless you’re rich.

good prices on disney merchandise, just wish the store was bigger. Within 20 minutes I had looked at everything. I did not find any videos, but then again thier focus is on goofy hats, toys and gizmo’s. The atmosphere was nice, service person was freindly, helpful to others too.
there are lots of hats, shirts and sweaters you can get for your nieces newphews, kids, wives, husbands too. Even during the recession, prices are not bad, actually good, I saw a nice pic frame for under $ 10. I saw a disney fake cell phone for $ 6. some of the other items were pricier but I did not see anything over $ 20.
