I love this bakery. I have been coming here for years, I love to support my local small businesses. Everything is so fresh. The dough they use is flaky. The employees who work there really nice. My favorite part is their prices, everything is so cheap! Try the pineapple and Apple empanadas. They are bomb!

I drove by this little hole in the wall and made a concerted effort to drive back that way for a stop. I didn’t find a huge selection but the baker was friendly and I took a good selection. The croissant was super soft and still fresh. The apple crisp was just sugary enough but not overwhelming. However I wasn’t too impressed by the«tea cookies»(my mother called them Mexican wedding cookies) — an overwhelming number of nuts me thinks. The pricing was good and overall a stop well worth the time.

I placed a last minute order and they were able to have the cake for me at the time I requested it. Cake was moist and the filling of fresh strawberries and cream was delicious. I will be ordering all my cakes here from now on.

So disappointed at the customer service from this place, since I was willing to drive an hour to pick up this cake, because of taste. I called in Saturday to get information about cost, decoration, etc. Adan, owner’s son, was able to answer my questions, but he felt rushed and I felt a bad vibe from him. However; I did not make anything of it. I called today to place an order, he was rude. Telling me if I needed to call and place the order later because 3 year old and 14 month old were talking in the background. I was trying as best as I could to place the order. But he was not accommodating or understanding to the situation, instead it felt like I was taking up his time. Once I made mention of his attitude, he proceeded to tell me that I would need to come in the store to make the order(rather than on the phone like we were doing already) because I had to give a deposit(which was not a problem), but he never mention that. Just suddenly he said this after I pointed out his rudeness. Of course he got on the defensive side and started to say he was trying to help me by answering my questions. It’s the least he should do for a customer… I think. From someone that worked as a waitress for six years, he clearly needs to learn about some real customer service. Hope no one else goes through this here.

I gave 5 stars but the customer service took away 2 stars. This place has delish yummies. Keeps us and others coming back. But the owner treats people as if your taking up his time… uh hellllo??? Its because of customers you are a buisness owner. A little smile and politeness goes a long way.

I always order my kids’ birthday party cakes from De Leon’s Bakery. I have ordered cakes from their catalog as well as submitted a custom design to go with the birthday party theme, and they always do an amazing job. Our party guests always rave about how moist and delicious the cakes are. Can’t beat the price either!

Small little Mexican bakery. Called last min for a birthday cake I needed last night. Super good and very friendly service. My Family loved it… not too sweet, just right. We also bought a croissant that was sooo good! Will definitely be going back. Thank you!

The best bakery in Fullerton. Why would anyone go to places like 85 degrees or Cha20 when this is here? Yes, it’s a hole in the wall, it’s not hip, but the food is better, isn’t that the point? Also, incredibly inexpensive. Why should I pay $ 4.00 for a muffin when I can pay .80 cents for a muffin here that is better? We order all our cakes here, not overly sweet. For the person who complained about their price increase on raspberries, they’re seasonal. The prices aren’t jacked up all the time, so when there is a seasonal increase in fruit prices, they have to raise their prices. I’m from NYC, this is the kind if place that would be a hit in the East Village or Williamsburg, not the other places I mentioned, which would be laughed at.

I love this bakery!!! This is my new stop for all special occasions. I have driven past this bakery for a while always wondering what their pastries were like. After trying a few other places for my daughters’ graduation party, I decided to drop in and I am so glad I did. Not only are the prices great but the customer service is nice and the cake is delicious!!! All of our party guests enjoyed the cake. I will be visiting this bakery more often.

I have been coming here for cakes for the last 4 years. The cakes here are always delicious, moist and very well decorated. For my most recent cake order I needed a cake for my moms 50’s themed 50th birthday party. I came in with some ideas of how to decorate the cake and was so happy with the result. My mom and guests loved the cake.

I called to get some general pricing and I was appalled to discover that they charged more for a Chocolate cake than they did for a White cake, to be fair the increase was only a $ 1, which is so insignificant that one might think; why would you be upset? As a customer service professional, I ask just the opposite; since it is such a minor charge, why bother creating such confusion and ill will? I called and simply ask what the charge was for a ¼ sheet cake. He began by giving all other information, and then when he got to pricing, his reply was«for instance you order a white cake with a fresh fruit filling, the cost would $XX, currently there is an upcharge for fresh Strawberries of $ 2.00» I then got their hours and asked if they had raspberry filling, and the answer was yes. I then told them what I wanted and was informed of the increase in cost for the Chocolate vs. the White cake.

A mom and pop operation that successfully executes mexican pastries. They have classic mexican pastries and some modern adaptations as well. Both are delicious. My favorite bakery in OC. the croissants will blow your mind.

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this place. I was driving to work one day and found this little gem. The only reason I went in is because it was 6 am and it was the only nearby open bakery. Pan dulce galore!!! I’m very picky with 3 leches cake, since I know how to make it from scratch and get great reviews from the people that eat it. Whenever I’m craving it and don’t have the time to make it, this is where I get my slice from. It’s great! Really, believe me I’m Mexican. They also sell these really cheap croissants loaded with some kind of white cheese and big slices of ham. They’re huge. One can prob feed 2 adults for breakfast. If you’re lucky enough to be there when they still have them, don’t hesitate to try them, because they run out fast and they only make a few of them. The other day I was there at 7 am and got 6 of them. People behind me were waiting for them but I got the last ones, haha, and I wasn’t about to share, sorry. Anyway, overall this is a great place. I’m very glad is so close to home =)

This is the bakery to visit when you need to order any type of cake! I’ve been coming to this bakery for the past 8 years and I have not been disappointed. I’ve ordered countless amount of cakes for birthdays, babyshowers and anniversaries. I also come here to buy bread to have coffee at home on Saturday mornings or whenever we have visitors at home. All of my family love it when we order anything from this bakery. Everything is so good!

I have yet to try their cakes, but all of the pastries I’ve tried have been great, including their bolillos. They make a good filled one too with cream cheese and jalapeño. The absolute best thing I’ve had is the honey bran muffin. I love a good bran muffin and De Leon’s is the very best I’ve ever had. It’s not much of a looker, as they don’t use traditional muffin tins, but it is ridiculously delicious. If you like bran muffins, do yourself a favor and try theirs, you will not be disappointed.

This is a cute little mom and pop bakery. The prices are pretty good. The croissants are huge, doughy and buttery, and I think they are only 99 cents. The white ball cookies with nuts inside are really good too– they are not too sweet. My favorite was the home made pumpkin pie offered over the holidays. They were only $ 4.00 was had a creamy pumpkin taste with warm crust. I hope they will offer it later this year. The coffee is not bad for the price.

It’s a full service, family owned and operated, bakery that has a variety of cakes, sweet breads, cookies, etc. They’re open early and they close late — often very late. Often the bakery is open well past their posted hours, so look to see if the open sign is still on or call ahead. The prices are very, very competitive. Many of their cookies, doughnuts, and breads are under $ 0.65. Cake prices run the gamut — it all depends on the size and decoration. The quality of the baked goods are very good. This isn’t a posh west LA bakery, but it is a damn fine bakery with a wide variety of tasty vittles. The coffee is reasonable drip coffee and they have machines for espresso and hot chocolate. They have a few coolers with a variety of soft drinks as well. The interior is austere. There are a few tables, some labeled Lou Cooper’s from when the bakery was Lou Cooper’s. The walls have some framed photographs form Fullerton College students.
