History
Established in 2012.
After 45 years of collecting, the merging of 3++ households, an overflowing garage, closets, and cupboards, no more room under the beds, and learning that a 1920s building in Fullerton was available, the time just seemed right to open Connie’s Antiques & Collectibles.
…and Connie is out there every weekend shopping for unique items to make your shopping experience memorable.
Meet the Business Owner
Connie U.
Business Owner
Connie’s career in merchandising started in 1967 when she was hired as an office girl/sometimes salesclerk at the W. T. Grant Co. in her hometown of Eugene, Oregon. She has a B.S. in Sociology from the University of Oregon.
When living in northern California, she partnered for a couple of years with another lady in a shop specializing in antique furniture.
Husband’s relocation to Los Angeles ended the business relationship and Connie again became just another collector.
Having her own shop has given Connie new excuse for continuing to buy items that are unique and fun. And, yes, she is the same Connie Underhill that has served on the Placentia City Council since 1995.
