I read the reviews here on Unilocal and decided to give them a call. Jeff and John arrived 2 hours later and gave me a very fair and competitive bid on doing a complete repipe in my home with pex rather than copper. They’re just now completing the job. Fortunately, they were able to fit me into their busy schedule several days later. They also were very pleasant, professional and we felt comfortable with them and the excellent work provided. I will refer them to family and friends. It’s great to have someone dependable, honest and fair!

The plumber was late. I payed to get my toilets unclogged and they are still clogged. I also checked with other plumbers quotes in the area and they have a much higher rate. So bad customer service because the job was not completed. I do not recommend coming here. The price was also very different from the quote. Maybe it was because my toilet was extra clogged?!

Excellent customer service and excellent job with the repairs! I haven’t had any issues with the jobs that have been completed.

Larry and Jeff are two of the best in this business. You can reach them and they get back to you asap. Never an issue of them showing up as promised. Usually can fix the problem on one visit. If you ever need a plumber, this one will get it done and done right.

I would give 5 stars if I could. Jeff was prompt, knowledgable, clean and reasonably priced. If you want great service give these guys a call.

I can’t give Comstock a high enough review. It is a family owned company and Jeff is the third generation. My family has been using Comstock for over 30 years.
I have an old house with a lot of plumbing issues, so we are frequent callers. Jeff is the best. He always comes within a reasonable time frame. He does awesome work and for a competitive price.

What can I say. I had a delightful time with Charles today while he was installing my new kitchen sink faucet. He was very polite n professional. He did a wonderful job and went out of his way to make sure everything was working great. He even went to Home Depot to get s soap dispenser for my sink. He also took the time to recaulk around my sink which was deteriorating. I truly appreciated his workmanship and attitude. I would highly recommend this company and Charles and will call them again if I ever have any plumbing problems. Nice job Charles. Thanks

Jeff did a great job on our leak. I spoke with another plumber first who quoted an outrageous amount. Jeff was reasonable, professional and thorough and I will use his services again as needed.

#Fullerton — I almost don’t want to give such a raving review because I want to keep Comstock to myself but that would be selfish and I just can’t be that way. After being in the real estate business for 16 years I have always searched for a reasonable priced licensed plumbing company and I am happy to say that I finally found Comstock. I gave them a plumbing repair list for our inspection and Jeff came out quickly, gave me a quote, I got it approved and it was all done with 2 – 3 days. I was very happy with the cost and service.

I called Comstock Plumbing today because both toilets and shower were backing up. I left a message and my call was returned promptly. I was told that they were booked solid and could not come out until Monday but gave me loads of advice and recommended calling another plumber immediately to attend to the problem. I was even given a quote on what to look for when pricing a main line blockage. I really appreciated all the advice and I am not even a customer, yet! I would recommend their services based on my experience.

I had a great experience with Jeff over at Comstock Plumbing. My husband and I called other plumbers in the area, including Chris Rogers Plumbing that flaked on us yesterday for a leak that we had.
Comstock Plumbing said that they couldn’t come yesterday because they were too busy but offered to come today. Great! I’d rather have a business be upfront and honest about their schedule rather than saying they would call and could probably come by and then disappear.
Jeff came over and fixed the problem. He also spotted another leak which he fixed free of charge as well as putting our nozzle back on our bathtub spout that my husband had taken off.
It was a pain free experience and I would definitely recommend them as well as use them again for our future plumbing needs.

We are in need of a family plumber in Fullerton as ours retired a few years ago. When I saw a plumber visiting across the street about a year ago I walked over and got the contact name. Jeff seemed very nice and competent. I subsequently asked my neighbors and they said Comstock is the best So I felt confident that we had someone to call the next time a problem arose.
Recently our HOA sent out a write up within our newsletter about problems with pinhole leaks in our complex. Repiping is probably the solution. I looked at Comstock’s reviews which are excellent and their website, which says they do re piping and called about three weeks ago to set up an appointment. I had a very nice exchange with Lily. We set up an appointment for the following Monday and I asked her if I could fax her the write up from the news letter for background. She gave me her fax number and I sent it over.
When Monday came I received a voice message that Jeff would not be able to make it after all, no reason was given, and that she hadn’t received my fax, would I please send it and call her. She said they would review it and we would go from there. I resent it and left a message that I had and asked for a call back. I didn’t hear back .
A few days later, I discovered water under one of my cabinets and left a voicemail asking for a return call. I didn’t provide details but naturally thought I could do that when she called me back. There was no return call. In fact I’ve never heard from this company since the voicemail cancelling the initial appointment.
We did call another plumber about the water leak. It turned out to be our main drain upstairs to downstairs. They came out right away, diagnosed the problem and promptly fixed it, thank heavens. It was quite a job.
Re piping is still in our future. Oh well, can’t figure it all out. Maybe there was a family problem and they weren’t able to return their calls. Maybe she thought the subsequent call was about the re piping, wasn’t interested in t he job and just didn’t return my call. I’ll never know but my experience is inconsistent with the other reviews and my neighbor’s high praise.

I called Comstock Plumbing a few months ago for a minor job, and I’m glad I did. They were responsive on the phone, showed up on time, did the job in a businesslike manner with no attempt at selling me more, all at a reasonable price. I won’t hesitate to call them again.

We got the name of Comstock Plumbing as a referral from the Heating & A/​C company we use regularly. We had Jeff from Comstock Plumbing replace our water heater some time back and recently called him for some other plumbing work. He is fast, courteous, neat and clean and professional and his prices are extremely reasonable. A neighbor recently had a «big name» plumbing company do a job that cost a lot of money — Jeff’s quote for the same job was about two-​thirds less. That gives you a good idea of the difference.
We won’t use any other plumbing company and highly recommend Jeff.

We have used Comstock Plumbing ever since we moved into our old 1950’s home 10 years ago. Jeff has always had amazingly low prices, is quick to diagnose the problem, courteous, professional, and trustworthy and quick!
We’ve had him replace our water heater at the last minute when it broke, unclog our sinks, replace toilets, etc. I would never consider using anyone else for my homes plumbing needs.
His wife is wonderful to work with on the phone setting up appointments and understand plumbing and the needs of the customer. Finding a good plumbing company is priceless and Comstock Plumbing is worth their weight in gold.

Plumbers are easy to find but hard to know if they are honest or car salesmen. Since I know nothing about plumbing and even less about cars I am left to trust their assessment of my problems. It is always nice to go with someone you know or have had a working experience with. I had plumbers who were reasonable and did great work and those who were just there to patch up problems or map out more problems. Comstock has been nothing short of professional and honest. Their prices are fair and reasonable and they take pride in their work. I am so please that I found them and they will be my go to plumbers for as long as I am in this house. They were prompt, clean and professional. I highly recommend them for your plumbing work.

Jefff was a neighbor in our block for many years, and he serviced all of us neighbors, with our many last minute crisis. No matter what time or day, Jeff was there, He is so knowledgable, eager to take care of any problem you have and also goes way above and beyond in his workmanship. I heard of this company from a family friend of my mother in law. This family friend deals with a lot of contractors and it seems that she would know what she is talking about. This company seems to be a family company. I’ve had Frank come over to clear some pipes and make some repairs and I was very happy with the speed, work, and prices. Another employee, Greg was just as qualified when he came over to install a whole house filter. Greg put in a lot of time working under the crawl space to make sure the job was done right and satisfactory.
This is the right plumbing company with very fair prices. I am glad we have a plumber that we can trust.
