Caring Eyes Optometry

This is customer service at it’s best. They take their time to explain everything and answer any questions you have. I went in for an eye exam for contacts and they took care of me. I will definitely be going back for any optometry needs.

It was typical by very good customer service, I took my mom to get an eye exam and I was very glad to know the receptionist spoke Spanish and was able to communicate with my mom :) I paid $ 125 for her exam and a pair of glasses

Would recommend anyone needing an eye glass or contact lens exam to visit Caring Eyes. Dr. Nguyen took the time to explain things in detail so that I understood what was going on with my eyes, and what options would be best for me to see clearly. I never felt rushed during the exam. He also suggested which lenses I should go with for my glasses and which would be a waste of my own money, based on my prescription. Thanks Dr. Nguyen!

3 years been seeing Dr. Nguyen! ²⁰⁄₂₀ contacts upgraded to the kind with more oxygen permeability! Again let’s me try on samples and described products– so my eyes can smile. Same parking area as the archery building. Appointments available within the week!
Makes me wash my hands too — before putting on my contacts. Easy in and easy out– contacts within 2 days! Front desk person called to remind me of the appointment– fabulous!

Dr. Nguyen, he is so nice a friendly. I took one of my friends here and he had an eye infection. Dr. Nguyen tried his best but he didnt give up. He was able to referred us to another optometry that was near by. Overalls you should go here. He helpful, kind and friendly. On top of that he eye care is affordable

freaking love Dr. Nguyen and Isabell!!! They are great and fast. I love that they have such great personality’s! They also have tons of toys for the kids to play and candy! Never had any issues when dealing with them. They made an appointment for my family when needed. Thank you Dr. Nguyen and Isabell for giving my family the best customer service someone can ask for!

I found this optometry on Unilocal and thought i would give it a try. well im so glad i did! i love it here and the prices are great! From the Optometrist to the front office staff were very nice and very helpful! they Dr. Nguyen took his time and helped me with my eyes, I feel very comfortable and confident with my new glasses ! i recommend you come here!

They replaced the lenses for both my new glasses to update my prescription for free. :)

I normally don’t write Unilocal reviews but Dr. Nguyen and his staff did such an awesome job I felt compelled to.
It was my first time going to Caring Eyes for an eye exam and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was in desperate need of some new glasses and needed my right eye checked out due to some abnormal blurring. So I scheduled an appointment for Monday since they were booked for the weekend but they were so kind enough to call me back when a spot opened up on Saturday. I was very pleased by this. Overall Dr. Nguyen diagnosed the issues in my eye which was just a scar and issued me a new prescription. I will definitely be a returning patient and refer all my friends and family to Caring Eyes.

I was completely out of contacts and in desperate need of an exam ASAP. I called Caring Eyes on a Saturday morning and they were able to get me an appointment that day.
Dr. Nguyen was very thorough and took his time to explain everything to me.
I’ve been hopping from Costco optometrist to Costco optometrist, but I think I’ll stick to Caring Eyes now.

Now I know why Dr. Nguyen and his optometry center has so many 5 stars… for the first time in five years I can see near and far… with contact lenses!
I never disclosed to the doctor that many years ago I tried to be fitted for multifocal contacts at both Lens Crafters and Costco. I didn’t want to poison his mind with the thought that I was one of «those» patients.
Anyway, after my exam I walked out with a monovision option (one eye is optimized to see far and one eye is optimized to see close. The middle is perfect for both eyes.) Surprisingly, it was MUCH better than I expected. I probably would have settled for that over my existing prescription of super-​sharp far distance in both eyes and cheaters for computer use.
BUT he also ordered two different trials of multifocal lenses. So a few days later both were delivered.
The first lens (which I am using now) is a daily disposable Acuvue lens. I had been using the same lens without the «cheat» built in. INSTANT clarity both near and far.
As I mentioned above, I had tried multifocals in the past but between the technology and the fitting they just weren’t for me.
That trial pack lasted a week. Then I got the third option which was by Bosch and Lomb… the multifocal standard for the past decade.
Right out of the box I had issues. First, the lens was dry because it was improperly packaged. And the trial cleaning solution I was given irritated my eyes. I had some other solution in the medical cabinet so I used that the rest of the week. But the right eye never was as sharp as the monovision or daily Acuvue solution.
Even though I disliked the «industry standard», I realized that Dr. Nguyen had given me a better fitting than two optometrists before him. So I immediately realized he knew what he was doing. This time it was technology (or my body itself) holding me back, not the doctor… unlike the times before.
Again, I would have settled with the third option over using standard contacts and cheaters.
BUT the second pair fit so well and allows me to see clearly near and far that I feel 10 years younger… literally! I find myself sitting at a computer and habitually reaching for a pair of reading glasses that I don’t need!
I have about 10 pair of glasses between my car, home office, office… +1.5 and +2.0 depending on what I wanted to see… that I don’t need anymore!
Woohoo! HIGHLY recommended!
AND be sure to buy the Unilocal coupon while it is being offered. $ 80 of service for $ 50. At the time of this review I think a standard exam is $ 70, contacts are $ 110 or something but multifocal exams are $ 130ish. (Don’t quote me on that!) Be sure to call first.
(Oh, and I can’t end this without mentioning that Isabel is a doll and her smile lights up the office. Hi, Isabel!)

This review is long overdue! I thank my lucky stars that I’m blessed to have a doctor, dentist, chiropractor, and OPTOMETRIST that I LOVE! This practice is amazing and I highly recommend it to everyone I know! All my fellow Disney employees that I refer have all thanked me after going for recommending them to Caring Eyes because the doctors and staff are simply amazing! They have the coolest frames and brand name sunglasses! Most recently I had yet another wonderful experience! One of my co-​workers had just got a new pair of BCBG eyeglasses that where adorable but I didn’t think I’d be able to pull them off. I tried them on and it was love at first sight, I HAD to have them! I immediate messaged the caring eyes practice through their Facebook page that evening and got a response within minutes – and this was after their office was closed even! Next day they said they ordered the glasses and also the other color they came in. I was able to come in around my busy work schedule to try both pairs on with the help of Isabel their receptionist. Isabel is always so sweet, helpful and patient with all the frames I usually try on which I appreciate. She said both looked great – I ended up buying both since it’s so hard for me to find glasses that I love! They always make the best use of my insurance benefits which I greatly appreciate since I’ve had bad experiences in the past at my former office years ago. Dr. Nguyen is always patient and fun to talk to and is great at answering questions and educating on eye health. Thank you for literally being so caring! I will continue to highly recommend your practice! You rock!

So let’s start off with the fact that my eyesight just plain sucks! I have known this for many years and have not found a single doctor that could truly help me… until I found Caring Eyes Optometry.
There are not enough words to express my gratitude to his office. Their office staff is amazing but more importantly Dr. John was incredible. He did more for me in my first visit than any of my other doctors over the last 20 years. Honestly the BEST exam and assistance I have ever had. He will contact you if you have any questions and will give you straight answers.
I do not write reviews very often, but when I run into a company that blows me away, I have to take the time to share my experiences. You will never go wrong with this place. Bar NONE, A++++!

I wanted contacts so badly for the last couple of years and the last optometrist I went to said it wasn’t possible for me since my eyes weren’t «settled.» I made an appointment here just to see if I would get a different answer and I’m so glad I did!
Dr nguyen was so incredible. He listened to what I had to say, agreed with what I wanted and I was in and out of there with my first pair of contacts in 30 min. His assistant was very helpful, too and very patient with teaching me the basics with contacts.
I’m getting married in a few weeks, and Dr Nguyen totally saved me from wearing my glasses the entire time. I’m a very happy customer.

Just had my prescription checked by Dr. Nguyen and I was in an out in 33 minutes! I have to say that the front office staff and the Dr. himself were very friendly and efficient.

Out of all my healthcare providers right now, Caring Eyes Optometry provides the best care. I never have to wait when I come for my Saturday appointments. Dr. Nguyen is very kind and always makes me feel comfortable, yet not over friendly. I seriously feel like we can be friends! He actually facebook messaged me to congratulate me on my firstborn.
He always takes his time to examine my eyes and explains everything thoroughly. There’s a lot of glasses frames, with affordable prices, to choose and his awesome staff is always there to assist. So happy we found him!

I loved going here. Everyone that works here is so nice and patient. My appointment was prompt and precise. Dr. Nguyen explained everything he was doing, and was patient when it came to fixing my prescription. The whole experience was comfortable, helpful and reassuring. They were also helpful in picking out frames — and they have so many! Since I don’t have visual insurance they gave me a 20% discount which was a nice help. Took 6 days to get my new frames and lenses (went in on Saturday and got a call that they received them on Friday). I went from squinting with my old glasses to being able to see FOREVER — which is such a nice feeling after dealing with fuzzy vision.

I’ve never had such superb experience at an optometry before. Most of the optometry I go to just check my eyes and let me browse around, but here Dr. Nguyen and his assistants are very informative and helpful! They walk you through everything and answer all your questions before you even ask!
Dr. Nguyen and his assistants take their time to show you the different kinds of frames that specifically fit you. I NEVER KNEW there was such a right «FIT» until I came here.
I’ve got these super cute pairs of rayban’s clubmasters (eyeglass + sunglasses), but the nose pads. kinda bug because they leave marks on my face, but STILL love them. I recently lost my eyeglasses and I NEED MY GLASSES! So I call Dr. Nguyen up and said, I need to get new glasses and I knew which one I wanted because this was my other choice from when I got my raybans. It’s the COACH Alternative Fit one. He said «We’ll get them done right away!» because he got all my information in file from the last time & he’ll give me a call when it’s ready.
They have these «Alternative Fit» frames for us asians with no nose bridges! I mean, it’s not made for just asians. but most of us fall in that category. I think it’s amazing because before my glasses would always slide off my face, but with these cute Coach AF frames I got recently… I’m in love and they are perfect on my face!
Great selection of designer and insurance covered frames! Both men & women. They also have a lot of cute kids frame as well. Speaking of kids, they have a kid’s toy playing area in the waiting room and children-​appropriate movies showing on the TV, which is nice. There’s kids toys because he has two little adorable girls himself! :D
The time to get my glasses was extremely quick. It took about a week! Dr. Nguyen also sends out Thank You notes after your visit, which is very nice and thoughtful. Shows that he appreciates his patients.
Also, the Dr’s voice sounds like those love song dedication soothing voice, on KOST 103.5 hahah. How pleasant.
