I have had a lot of different dentists, in the last year, I’ve finally found a truly consciences dental group. They have taken care of some of my special needs. I had a two hour appointment, the whole time Dr. Talmood, would ask me if I was Ok. She is caring and very nice. The office staff is wonderful, they explain all that is going to happen for that visit. This Dr. Is very special in my book. They get an a plus for office looks and super clean.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Talmood, but I’ll do my best. She is by far the best dentist I have ever had in my entire life, and my kids feel the same way. Great bedside manner, very patient and thorough. As far as my two youngest kids, they both go to her and they have both had horrible experiences with dentists consistently from childhood, and with Dr Talmood, they are actually happy to go to the dentist… and that’s pretty amazing in itself. Happy to go to the dentist… Wow! We’ve never had a dentist that is even close to her equal. Dr Talmood is a breath of fresh air and they both absolutely love her, as do I. She is actually the dentist for most of my family. Yes. she’s that great. Five stars! Two thumbs up and a round of applause for finding her. She is so gentle and professional and really takes an interest in your care before and after services. I recommend her highly. Her staff is wonderful too. I doubt I’d ever go to anyone else. Dr. Talmood is the absolute greatest. Like most teenagers, I was terrified to remove my wisdom teeth. I am very uncomfortable about needles and was nervous for my surgery day for a whole month. Everything changed when I walked into Dr. Talmood’s office. Her receptionist had a gleaming smile on her face and warmly greeted me. The dental assistants were all very positive and catered to my every need and concern. They immediately made me feel comfortable, which is very rare in dental offices. Dr. Talmood is very professional and personable. She helped me relax before the surgery and really put me in the right mindset to conquer my fear. I was so surprised as to how quickly and effectively she was able to extract my wisdom teeth. She congratulated me for being strong when the surgery was over and personally sat down with me to give me information about recovering. Dr. Talmood turned a situation that could’ve been terrifying into a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a visit to the dentist that you actually look forward to. ¹⁰⁄₁₀! Thank you Doctor!

I love Doctor Talmood’s office. They are very kind and very welcoming as well. My sister and her kids have gone her for years. Now I’m going to her and I love it. She has treated so well as if she’s knowing me forever. She has taken care of my cavities and some extractions for me. I’ve had great results. And I will continue to be a patient of hers.

I was referred here by a friend. I haven’t been to a dentist in years so I came in for a consultation. The first meeting I spoke to Dr. Talmood and she informed me that I needed a deep cleaning and to get some fillings. I scheduled an appointment to get the process started for the deep clean. I came in a few weeks later and the hygienist that did my cleaning was very nice and professional. She kept checking on me to make sure I was ok which made me feel more at ease and made me feel like she really cared about my well being. I will be back for my fillings and any other dental needs.

I was recommended by a friend and loved her and the staff! She made me feel very comfortable there and I’m very sensitive to pain and I didn’t feel what she was doing so now I highly recommend you try her if you haven’t yet.

PRO: Dr. Talmood is a great dentist. She does quality work and is very kind. She’s sensitive to her patients concerns.
CON: I do agree with other reviews on the wait time. I don’t think there has been a time, I didn’t spend 2 hrs in her office for a cleaning. One time, I was in there for 3 hrs! Most of the time, I do wait almost 45 mins before I get called in. Way past my appointment time. While I understand emergencies do come up, the problem here is Dr. Talmood is so talented, she works on 2 – 3 patients at a time. She basically bounces from room to room. There have been times, I’ve walked out and rescheduled because of the long wait time either in the office or in the exam room. I could understand if I was getting a root canal, implants or cosmetic work. 2 ½ hrs for simple services like a cleaning is kinda ridiculous.

I came to this office for a genteel check up. I have an HMO policy and was told I needed a full mouth debridement, the lady from
The front office told me it would be 180.00 dollars. I said I would think about it and several days later went to get a second opinion, the doctor said I only needed a general cleaning and guess what??? It was free. I called Dr. Talmood’s dental office the following day and expressed my concern about them charging me for a full mouth debridement, I asked to speak to the doctor and got no return calls. Ultimately, they told me she was unavailable to speak to me at all and they were going to dismiss me from the office for not doing treatment that doctor recommended. I find it amusing they were able to diagnose some fillings I also needed but recommend a full mouth debridement, since this procedure is used to allow for the doctor to get diagnosis. It’s confusing, and appalling that they swindle people’s money this way. I recommend to stay Away from this place it has the word FRAUD written all over it.

Dr. Talmood certainly surpassed all my expectations!!!
I saw Dr Talmood in her office for a routine cleaning and was very impressed by her professionalism, her staff, and the cleanliness of her office. She was gentle and spent time out of her busy schedule to address ALL my dental concerns and get to know me as a new patient. The dentist is my most frequented doctor and it is important for me to find someone who I would feel comfortable with and enjoy seeing every 6 months, Dr. Talmood certainly surpassed all my expectations!!! I was so impressed I sent my husband to get his dental work done from her, and he was very impressed by the service as well!!! After reading some of Dr Talmoods recent reviews, all I would say is that the reviews are fraudulently posted!!! I urge you to make an appointment and see how wonderful this dentist, her staff, and her office truly are.

Every single time I go there the front desk girls are so amazingly sweet and help me right away. Whether it’s on the phone or in person they help me with everything I need and they are all very educated in the field as well, the office is very easy to find and it’s extremely clean. Now with Dr. Talmood. She is always making sure you’re comfortable and makes sure that you’re not in pain. The first time I went I hadn’t been to the dentist in over a year and she made sure to clean my teeth very nice but was gently with me as well. I recently went to get a wisdom tooth extracted and I kid you not my tooth was out of there in less than a minute. I was shocked when she said I was done. I couldn’t believe how fast that was and throughout the process from numbing to the extraction she kept making sure I was comfortable. She’s amazing.

I got a teeth checkup and cleaning, turned out I needed a filling, I usually hate getting shots but she used an amazing technique and I couldn’t feel a thing.
I would recommend her to EVERYONE!

Best dental office I’ve ever been to, by far! Superior service, I’m moving to another city but they treat me so well, I will drive out of my way to continue to see them :)

If I could give this place no stars, believe me I would. The dentist is kind and qualified, but the incompetency of the reception staff made the experience (s) so unbearable, I have to give this place one star.
I arrived for my first 2PM appointment at 1:45. I checked in and sat there until 3:15 and finally went up for the second time to check on the status. Guess what? «Oh, we called you to reschedule you for another day.» Excuse me? That did not happen, I received no call & no message. In FACT, I received a text the day prior CONFIRMING my appointment for the following day. If you had called me, don’t you think I would have shown up on THAT specified day instead of the original? Here’s a tip, don’t make new patients wait over an hour and then send them home to come back another day. Talk about unprofessional.
The second time I went to the dental office — the one I was rescheduled for — They refused to have my dental X-​rays sent over electronically from my previous office who had just recently done the scans. They claimed they had a different computer system, limiting them to only regular scans. So I sat there for 45 minutes in the chair until they finally got to taking the uncomfortable x-​rays from every which way and angle of my mouth. And THEN they tell me they were able to get the X-​rays scanned over and didn’t need to take new ones after all. Seriously?
The third time I went wasn’t so bad, because I actually go to see the dentist, who in all fairness is actually very kind and proficient. But the call prior to my appointment was utterly ridiculous. I called the front desk to schedule an appointment to get a crown placed, and the receptionist asked my name. Upon giving it to her, she responded by saying my insurance doesn’t cover crowns. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and called my insurance right after, and was told that crowns WERE covered under my insurance. I call the dental office back and spoke to the same receptionist, relaying the information I had just received from my insurance company. Her response? «No, it says right here that you’re not covered. But here’s the price.» When I refused to consider the option of paying, she asked me who from the insurance company gave me the approval and the corresponding approval number for the operation. You’re KIDDING me right? That’s YOUR job! I didn’t ask my customer service rep. from my insurance company for the specific approval reference number, nor did I care to ask her name after receiving the information, I shouldn’t have had to. So I called the insurance company once again, spoke to another representative, and received the approval number AND name of the person I spoke with. I called the dental office back for a third time, and gave the clearly incompetent receptionist the information, along with some added frustration for her lack of professionalism with my first two appointments, and now her refusal to send in an approval request for a simple crown. After which she said «Oh, I had the wrong person. Yes, I think you’re approved. I’ll send it in now.» And no apology for her clerical error, and daftness.
Needless to say, I’ve changed dentists.
Absolute bush-​league. Don’t come here.

Came in by today for the very first time, came in for my 11:00 appointment two other patients came in after me, one which her appointment wasn’t until 11:30 as I was waiting the two patients get called in before me. kept on waiting 45 minutes passed finally get called in for X-​rays as I was walking in I was seated in this right little room facing another room to take X-​rays kind of awkward anyway the assistant used this weird instrument that looked very well used into my mouth to take X-​rays, I was grossed out I asked for listerine afterwards which they had thank god! As I got seated in my room more gross ness in the corner was this banged up looking chair. «Are they shrimping for money here?» Everything in the office was outdated and gross looking! At this point it was already an hour and a half into the appointment I was already over it got up and left before seeing the dentist!

Have been going here for years for dental work. Always welcoming and never have to wait to long to be seen .

OMG… After reading the ridiculous low star comments on this dental office I have to say that some people have no common sense and have unreasonable expectations.
YOU ARE IN A DENTAL OFFICE for God sakes WHERE CARING AND DOING A GOOD JOB MAY TAKE A BIT LONGER AT TIMES AND ANY THING UNEXPECTED CAN HAPPEN SPECIALLY THE MEDICATIONS THAT WORK DIFFERENTLY ON DIFFERENT PATIENTS… Or unexpected situations so with that said the time can always change and Doctors can always fall behind schedule … Just like a fresh food or fast food the fresh food takes longer to be prepared but we all know it’s a healthier choice.
My family and I have been happily going to Dr. Talmood’s office for the past 22 years and that happened to me a few times that she was behind schedule but I have been totally okay with that because I KNOW THAT AFTER ALL I HAVE A GREAT DOCTOR WHO REALLY CARES AND DOES NOT SCREW ME OVER MONEY. In fact I have waited more for my mechanic or MD doctor than my dentist and that should be expected when you go to a hospital or similar places.
Overall I rather to wait and pay a bit more than to have a none honest service provider be it a mechanic, plumber or a dentist.
My family and I have been a long time patient of Dr. Talmood and every one have been happy with her quality of work. Some of us even drive more than an hour and half from Encino to get to her office but sure it is worth the time and every penny because WE KNOW WE ARE IN GOOD HANDS THAT CARES AND KNOWS HER TRADE really well.
Dr. Talmood is a great doctor who REALLY CARES to do a good job rather than just making money and I do highly recommend her work and services.

I went to this dental office because it is close to home and because they accept my insurance. In the 2 years I have been seen by Dr. Talmood, my teeth have never been cleaned. I was told, «Oh, Dr. Talmood likes to wait until the work is done to clean your teeth.» Not only that in order to be treated I had to take a line of credit out with Care Credit. At first my line of credit was larger than what was owed, but somehow the office took all of my line of credit. Then as work progressed I checked my line of credit and, WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, OR ADVISING ME WHAT I OWED MY DEBT JUMPED FROM $ 600 TO $ 1800 on my Care Credit account! NOW THE OFFICE IS CALLING ME SAYING I STILL OWE THEM MONEY! Dr. Talmood is sly. She gives you her smile and has her office workers stab you in the back. I will never return.
