A-​1-​A was excellent. Two movers came, and were very careful when they wrapped many fragile pieces of glass and china. Nothing was broken. The move involved drop off at 4 different homes and was very well coordinated. Allen, the driver always called ahead to let us know where he was and when he was coming. There were no extra charges as we have encountered with another Florida company. Every single person we met was pleasant, and efficient.

Great moving company. I was apprehensive using movers for my long distance move. I had heard horror stories about bad estimates and holding items «hostage». Not with A-​1-​A Atlantic. It was a great experience all around. Joni came out and gave my estimate and was extremely responsive to my calls when I had a follow up question. Ruthie handled the logistics of the move and was always courteous and helpful. The movers were great and handled any problems with ease. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

During my recent move from Miami to the Chicago area I was fortunate enough to work with the A1A team — they restored my faith in the moving industry! Chris, the driver, kept in contact with my agent and arrived not only ahead of the estimated delivery date but exactly when he said he would arrive that day — no issues what so ever. Honest, integrity, on time and accurate. Thats all I am looking for and Alex did the estimate — he is a pro — and very smart. Penni was my move manager — could not haven asked for a better team. Really researched a ton of companies and Mayflower won — in our estimation. All American Trucking and Transport moved both our cars –flawless. Huge success

First, we were impressed by Alex Trento. He was professional, on time, smart and accurate. Honest and old-​school. We interviewed two other companies and booked with Mayflower.
Penni, was the move manager, did a great job communicating with us.
Driver was efficient and sorely lacking in social graces; he was on time, had a good crew — two wardrobes were squished totally –he blamed the boxes not where he stacked them, And an important box marked ‘fragile’ six times arrived alike an accordion — the driver blamed the box, — nothing was broken.
Alex, the president will warn you about the competition and, go figure, he is 100% right. Would use them again — and refer friends and clients to Mayflower/​A-​I-​A.

Warning if you value your moving items.
Last June my mother hired Mayflower (owned by A1A Atlantic) as her moving company solely because of the Mayflower reputation. Though the quoted price price was much higher than the estimate of other companies, my mom decided to go with Mayflower because she was assured by Joni Elliott, the agent she worked with, that with a $ 50,000 dollars insurance, my mother had nothing to worry about. She was promised that the company would take care of any losses or damages incurred during the move. We put our complete trust in Mayflower and paid the bill.
On the day of the move, however, instead of a truck labeled «Mayflower», some truck with the insignia «A1A Atlantic» showed up! If that wasn’t a jolt, but we were promptly assured that it was the SAME company. That should have been a red flag for me! That was when all the problems began.
The storage unit was not properly air conditioned because in the course of those few weeks, her furniture sustained quite a bit of damage.
Some of the small cabinets had to be re-​glued together, one Mica cabinet was split at the base, my expensive lucite dining room table and coffee table reduced to pieces with chips and cracks all over.
My late stepfather was an antique Art collector and we had a very large unique jade piece, probably over 50 years old. This irreplaceable art work was shattered to pieces…
Mayflower/​A1A Atlantica refuses to pay even the minimum $ 3,500 that barely cover the repair of the two tables, despite the insurance purchased prior to the move. We are currently taking them to court over the matter.
Shame on your Mayflower/​A1A Atlantic for taking advantage of senior citizens, especially one that recently went through a major cancer operation.
I’m spreading the word about this horrible company and welcome all to share this.

I recently moved from Fl to Tx for a job and shopped around for a moving company. This company was not only the most responsive and customer– service oriented, they also were the most cost effective. I waited until the last minute to get a quote due to figuring out my finances (and procrastination and denial that goes along w uprooting your life from the hold you knkw and love all your life) and no moving company made the effort to schedule an appointment promptly, survey my belongings and offer a quote within the time needed. I used their quote specs to get quotes from the late– to — respond companies (since 3 minimum were required by my company) and they were the best. I was happy to give them the business. The delivery process took some time because i did not have a guaranteed residence within the shipping window, so for a lil extra they stored my stuff and delayed the shipping spread dates. I kept in touch w my shipping coordinator frequently for updates and she always responded promptly. When a driver picked up my stuff, she provided his information and he was THE BEST (Kevin– a Canadian guy). SO helpful and kind. The delivery was made on time, unloaded quickly with no damages. I only wish i could have given him a big fat tip, but i had no cash :(I am delighted to have worked with this company and would definitely refer and use this company again and am happy to offer this review as a token of my appreciation for their service!
