We are a full service Auto repair shop that is locally owned, with the backing and warranties of the household Midas name. We service all makes and models of vehicles, from oil changes to tires, brakes, suspension, emissions diagnostics catalytic converters, engine and transmission diagnostics and repair.

History

Established in 1977.

Our shop was first opened in 1977 and has been under local family ownership since 2007. Since then we have invested in all new equipment to be able to diagnose and repair all modern vehicles. Ruth Dykeman our manager and her crew will do whatever it takes to ensure your satisfaction.

I started my career as a 14 year old sweeping floors in a shop in Great Britain and moved up working on many different motorcycles, cars and trucks throughout the 1980’s. I worked for Austin Rover and Nissan and then on motorcycles for my final 3 years in Britain. Since moving to the USA, I have worked everything from parts, service and sales in dealerships to managing multiple franchise locations before finally achieving my dream of my own store. I am a total car fanatic and love what I do every day. In 2007 I was asked to host a car based talk show every Saturday and have been doing that ever since. My time away from the business is spent with my wife (who is also heavily involved in the shops) and my 2 kids, or doing endurance motorcycle rallys and runs with the Iron Butt organization. My crew and I would be proud to earn your business.
