Showed up and campground host Teresa was friendly, and back-in sites were easy to get into. Confederate flags were on full display on multiple RVs/trailers. This plus getting some intense looks and less than friendly interactions with other campers who seem to be monthly/long term residents resulted in us leaving before dark and not feeling comfortable asking for a refund. On the way out passed another truck heading in with huge«Keep The Flag» Confederate flag banners. Be forewarned.

A very nice campground. Quiet(with the exception of the close by railroad, but it did not seem to be a busy line), easy access from I-66, scenic(all sites are on the Shenandoah River and there is a beautiful open field adjacent to the campground), dog-friendly, and the owner was easy going and pleasant. No pull-throughs, but the sites were very easy to get in and out of, were level, and if towing, there is ample space to unhook before backing into the site. We will definitely be back!

Well maintained campground. Mostly of the campers are monthly workers. Bathroom/shower generally clean but could use updating. No pull thru’s. All of the sites back up to the Shenandoah River. Very quiet and peaceful.. All sites are well maintained. Ours was grass but most were gravel with a small slab. We camped in a a grass site and it was level site. No cable, but we could get the local stations. Most Excellent WI-fi. Would stay at this campground again. We camped here in a Small Class A motor home.
