I have been using Wieronski since we purchased our mountain home. I highly recommend them. They are professional and expert. They are also very responsive and have wonderful customer service.

Wieronski has been our trusted partner in caring for our mountain home for the past 15 years. Not only are they a pleasure to work with, their quality of service and timeliness (not always common in mountain towns) is bar none. From maintaining our stoves and furnace to plumbing repairs & upgrades to water treatment, they’re the only one to trust.

I was charged a whooping $ 521 for troubleshooting a gas leak and a furnace firing problem. I was advised to replace the furnace and both water heaters because the gas valves were faulty. I went ahead and order two new valves at $ 125 each plus the labor to install them by a different plumbing company. So instead of spending $ 1900 on a water heater plus labor that I was quoted by this company, I ended up spending around $ 600 to fix both water heater by someone else. Watch out with this company’s pricing, the will charge you a service fee, plus travel time and $ 159 an hour. There are other plumbers in the area that will charge you much less. and by the way they never call me back to follow up about my water heaters.

Over the past 26 years, we have used many plumbing/​heating companies in Summit County, CO and Wieronski Plumbing & Heating is the best in all aspects. They provide quality products that they stand behind and ensure complete customer satisfaction. They are not the least expensive but we have found «you get what you pay for» and Wieronski is worth every penny!!! We have especially had a great experience with their technician Ryan who has been extremely responsive and competant with any issues we encounter. This has been so important since we are part-​time residents. We will always use these guys — they are the best!!!

Ultimately fixed the garbage disposal, but only after lack of follow up, post work issues, and really unclear and expensive pricing.

Our toilet’s tank was leaking resulting in us wasting a lot of water. Wieronski came out to fix it (failed). They came out a second time to try to fix it again and told me it would cost $ 400 in addition to the $ 300 for the first trip. I asked how much for a brand new toilet and the quoted me $ 800. A brand new toilet cost $ 150 at Lowe’s. I told them to forget it and installed the new one myself.
Don’t waste your time with these guys. Their prices are comical.

Reading Walter’s reply to my review is insulting. First, he never replied to my letter to him personally stating my issues. He will only answer if it is public. Second, his response is simply not true. I was assured they would be there the same day. I NEVER got a call from them during the day while I was waiting. Indeed I was the one who kept calling them. And they are still going with the wrong diagnosis. My pipes were not frozen. As I said, Ski Country Mechanical, properly purged the system and got it working, without the $ 1200 fix Walter recommended.

Needed my water heater replaced. Wieronski quoted me $ 2000, which I felt was crazy-​high (this number does not include a heater!). I asked how they arrived at that number and he said «cause it’s gonna take two guys and it’s gonna take all day.» Silence. I declined. Found a different local plumber that installed it in for $ 400.
Wieronski, if you’re reading this, besides just your bogus quote, it was how rude you were on the phone with me that really made me write you guys off.

The pipes in our house froze and burst, I called every plumbing company in Summit County, Wieronski was the only one that was able to come out to repair the damage that day. I believe appoints were canceled in order to fit the emergency into their schedule. Jerome and Michael did a great job, they did not waste time, and were extremely professional.
As others commented I believe the price was high, but when you have one option to get the job done the price is the price. They came through when all other plumbers said no.

Despite the reputation of seriously overcharging for services, I selected Wieronski as I did not know of another heating/​mechanical contractor in Summit County. I figured these guys were big and established and wouldn’t send anyone out without seriously checking their capabilities.
During the service call, the tech seemed to drag out the time on the job. Talking and talking and slowing down with each sentence. Time is money, and I was charged the fixed-​fee service call rate, plus an hourly rate. It was very high — but I was expecting this.
My biggest complaint is that during the service call an item was identified as serviceable, and another serious item was not even discovered (it caused the first failure). Absolutely no attempt was made to investigate any further. I was simply told that if the tech ‘looked’ at the serviceable item, there was a flat-​rate fee associated that would add hundreds to the bill (even if no additional time on site was required).
After the tech left, it was a matter of 3 minutes to fix the serviceable item, and another 4 minutes to fix the serious issue that the tech never even found.
For the prices charged, I expect more from a company.

We were at our second home in Breckenridge for the Thanksgiving holiday, and a noise from our furnace exhaust fan grew progressively louder. We called Weironski, and they came out the day before the holiday. What I thought (hoped) was a loose fan turned into a shot fan basket, as well as a dangerously hot motor.
Ryan spoke with the owner, and the owner spent four hours going to Denver and back THAT DAY to get the part. Ryan returned to our home, and installed the part, completing the job at 10:00pm that night.
Cheap, no… but they did everything they could to cut me slack on the call and the drive to get the part. Ryan couldn’t have been more polite, and we’re very grateful for the service we received. We had a quiet and safe furnace for the house of guests on Thanksgiving.

17 stars wasn’t a rating option, but Bill and Wieronski deserve 17 Stars hands down. Our rental home was without running water, and we called them at 1 am, and they promptly returned my phone call. They came to the house ASAP to diagnose and resolve the issue at hand. They did an excellent job all around, and I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat. Thanks a million times over again Bill @ Wieronski Plumbing and Heating, you saved our weekend!!!

I own a rental property near Silverthorne, CO and had called Wieronski Plumbing to come out to the property to install it. The appointment was booked for Tues. December 24^th at 11am. I had been told that I would get a phone call when the work was completed. I had asked my tenants to leave their door open (they were at work) so the technicians could come and go from the property. By 4pm that evening, I had heard nothing & knew folks were most likely leaving early for the holiday. I called and left a message for someone to call me back. Wednesday was Christmas Day, and on Thursday morning, I called to check in since I had heard nothing from them and my tenants had called to say no one had been at the property & washer was not installed. When I called Thursday AM, I was told that, «oops, they had forgotten to call me to tell me that their technician didn’t make it to the property on Tuesday because of weather, and that they were going to reschedule it for this morning.» Fine. By this time, it was after 11am, so I asked the dispatcher to check if the crew was on their way since my tenants were still at home and no one had showed up. She told me that she had located them on her GPS and that they had gone out to the property, but had come back in for parts. A few hours later, nothing, not a word. I called back again only to be told that the door was locked and the technicians couldn’t get in, which was 100% incorrect. My tenants had purposefully left their doors (all of them) open and unlocked for the technicians. I had checked with them that morning that everything was unlocked, and it was. When I called the office back to confirm that ALL doors were open, the dispatcher said she would send them out again. Great.
Come friday morning, no one had been to the property from Weironski Plumbing, my tenant’s doors had been unlocked all day for nothing, and to top it off, my tenants sent me pics of ZERO tire tracks and footprints in the snow– NO ONE had been to the property to even try to get into it to fix the washer. By this point, I was livid. When I called to get in touch with the dispatcher, no one would answer the phone. So, I drove to their office and walked in the front door to a very surprised front desk person. It was around 2:30−3pm at this point. When I asked her what had happened and why I was not getting any calls back, and/​or why the work had not been done, she responded that she had received NO notes on the situation, but that the technician who was sent to the property would be there shortly. I said I would go grab lunch and wait for his call. Three hours later, no call, nothing. I drove back to the office after calling twice with no answer. The owner, Walter, was there when I got there. It was immediately clear upon talking with him that he had no idea what was going on with the case, and was lying to cover his tracks and the tracks of his employees. His dates were wrong on the work calls, he had no clue about anything that was going on, but added at the end of the discussion that his technician had gone out to my property and taken pictures of the washer in order to give me a bid, which he would have ready for me the next day. I explained to him that this method was a complete waste of time and resources. Why would you send two technicians out to take a picture of a washing machine, appointment made weeks in advance, only to take the pictures back so that the owner could give me a bid, and THEN have to make another appointment later to have it installed. Furthermore, weeks prior, when I initially made the installation appointment, I had given the exact make and model of the washer/​dryer to the dispatcher so they could have the parts ready. Also, the prior day (thursday), I was told that the technicians had gone to the property and headed back into town to go to the warehouse for parts… yet, now Walter was telling me that he had pictures of the washer so he could assess the parts and labor situation? Makes zero sense. It all boils down to horrific organization, lies, and a poor excuse for a plumbing company. It is truly a shame because the few people I spoke with, including the owner, were all extremely pleasant and I would have loved to give them my business. I own a dozen income properties in the area and am always in need of good contractors. Just a shame I will not be using them again, and am really disappointed in the way they handled the situation.

Biggest rip offs in summit county!!! Charged 60 $ to come out and look at a broken disposal and quote over 500 $ to fix it, he said it takes a special part. i fixed it no problems under100 $
they came once to fixed my hot water heater had stopped working, replaced some motor part over 600 $ (4 bolts to remove and replace) Very expensive. Again a few years later the water heater breaks down. They fix it easy, but this time i noticed (not wieronski) I notice the hot water tank was leaking water causing mold damage underneath floor. This time they tell us to pull the heater and put in a «triangle tube heater». Over 10 grand to install will take more than 2weeks. (That’s over 10,000.00 $ wow!). so like idiots, we said yes start working, the boss comes in and takes photos of the whole house, I don’t know why has nothing to do w plumbing. I ask why? he said to measure square footage. I said would a tape measure do a better job? No, he reply… (Idiot). days later into project i Asked them to put plastic down and barriers up if there gonna make messes all over. They Laughed at me said ok. the following day no plastics down no barriers, nothing, I found copper shreds left on my carpet where I walk bear foot. So that night I went to Walmart bought over 30 $ for plastic and tape, the next day. They laughed at us… I said if your gonna be here so long you need to protect our valued stuff. Attitude right back at me. (This guys name is tim.) On there 1 hour lunch breaks they would come back inside and lounged around our living room and farting on my couch… I asked what can we do to seed up the job cause you guys are only here working 3 – 4 hours a day. They said they were going to have to tear out drywall upstairs for a new vent pipe that’s gonna be extra time. So they went home and that night I cut out the drywall in less than an hour, (all my plastic barriers i put up made it easy to keep clean) doesn’t seem fare we’re paying so much yet I’m doing some of there jobs. The Next day they were like wow, the dry walls gone so they took the day off. Hello! we have no hot water in the middle of winter! Weeks later they finally finished call inspection and pass. (very proud of there half ass job) but later we come to find that the heater is now make loud banging noises every time the thermoset triggers, so they call there boss and he tells em they installed it wrong. duh no sh#t. That Sh#t wakes me up in the middle of the night slamming & banging for a week and a half they finally come and install a valve to fix the noise. They feel my attitude and give me sh#t right back. A holes I’m a fkn customer! I talked with a guy at a job I work at he told me he can install this heater 2 – 3 days. Wow I feel totally taken advantage of at the end of this. The new water heater sucks ass, it’s not a better heater as promised. 1) the water doesn’t get has hot as other heater did, they say by law there not allowed to turn it up so I asking where the valve is ill do it myself, he finally shows me I cranked it up all the way it’s still not as hot as used to be. and 2) its not near the same pressure as be for water drips out shower instead of a spray. i asked if they could fix they said that’s it. they claimed this heater would increase value of condo its a tax write off etc… (it would of only been 4000.00 for new replacement tank) i paid over 1500.00 for all the drywall repairs. They wanted to keep the old heater for scrap metal I told em they couldn’t have it it’s mine they agued with me, telling me it’s not worth anything I said yeah but your taking it for scrap metal. ill take that$ I don’t know why you would toss it the heater still works it just needs a new tank is all. I could sell it. They made sure to cut wires where they could easily be disconnected, looked like they where angry smashing parts with a hammer I called him on it he said they dropped it from first floor to drive way. I said no no this was smashed by a hammer he denied me like I was dumb.
My advise stay away from this company and these people there are Rip Of Artists! there used to ripping off people in summit county & tourist. Again no stars if I could.

These guys should be featured on one of those «Dateline» episodes about plumbers ripping off consumers.
$ 59 service call fee only to be quoted $ 1000 dollars to replace a controller unit on one of my two 50 gallon water heaters. Option 2 was to charge me nearly $ 500 to drain and offline the heater with the faulty controller unit. Option 3 was to replace the bad water heater (4 years old, mind you) at a cost of nearly $ 2k.
I found a local electrician who swapped out the bad controller unit for $ 260 (parts and labor). Heater works just fine now.
Caveat emptor when it comes to Wieronski aka …“we’re on your money”.
