Bryan is extremely professional and trustworthy, and did an excellent job communicating with us throughout the sales process. We were thrilled when he negotiated an offer (above asking price) within a week. In addition, he and Steven (from Lawyers Title) went above and beyond to work with us at a moment’s notice and even on holidays. We would definitely recommend WaserGroup to others!

Summary: The condo was listed for sale since July 2014. As of October 4 (2+ months later, the property has not sold. I have used many realtors to find homes to purchase and/​or rent (I have previously owned 2 homes), but I have never met anyone like Bryan Waser (this is not a compliment). The WaserGroup was forced upon me through the sale of a condo that I was renting in the DFW area. In the 2 weeks that I had to interact with Bryan, he was pushy, rude, and made me feel quite frankly, uncomfortable (I am a young woman and my husband is frequently away from home) when I was alone with him taking photos of my condo that would be listed by WaserGroup. I am convinced that Bryan cares about few things with the exception of making money.
On July 27, 2014, I received a call from Bryan Waser, a realtor that I did not know who «happened to live in our neighborhood». He asked to come take pictures of our home either that night or the next day so he could list the property online. My husband and I told him that we would like to speak with our property management company before allowing strangers into my condo without notice from them. Bryan was very pushy about listing the property as soon as possible and was not pleased with this response. Given that we had already sent back a lease renewal, we were quite surprised and anxious about this call to my cell phone on a weekend. For all we knew, Bryan could have been a thief in disguise; therefore, we were hesitant to let him into our home on demand.
The next day (July 28, 2014), Bryan Waser contacted me and said that he spoke with our property manager and that I must allow him into my home to take photographs. I could not get in touch with our property manager, and Bryan was pushing the issue so I let him in to take pictures. He posted pictures of my personal decorations and portraits on his online listings for more than a month (this is a problem given my husband’s line of work). There were several showings each day, and Bryan stated that he usually gets an offer «within a few days», so these showings shouldn’t last long. He never acknowledged the anxiety that we were suffering given that our condo was being sold abruptly without notice, or that strangers were constantly entering our home.
On July 30, 2014, our condo was listed for sale online, a lockbox was placed on our property, and we were required to give strangers access to our condo as desired to view our home with little notice. Each time there was a showing (and there were frequently several showings per day), we would have to hide valuables, «take the dog for a walk», and «make sure the place was clean» (per Bryan Waser), which was quite an inconvenience given that we were paying a large sum of money to RENT the property. If I owned the property and intended to sell, this would have been a different story.
When Bryan was taking pictures of my home, I told him that I would need notice of any showings by 8am that day (or the night before), as both my husband and I work and we have a dog that is not always crated. He agreed that this could be set up through the showing agency. Regardless, I was often given 15 – 30 minutes notice that a showing would take place. So, when I declined a few showings (because I did not want to let people in the home with the dog loose while I was at work, or because my valuables were not put away), I received several blatantly rude emails from Bryan Waser. This is a direct quote from one of these emails: «I see that two [showings] were already declined. Can you plan to take the dog to the daycare on days you go to the office? Other than that, we need to have showings approved. I’m having [the property management company] call you to discuss the options according to the lease. [The property manager] should call back today.» We found this to be very unprofessional (at the least), as he was asking us to pay more money to take the dog to daycare (~$ 25 per day), maintain an immaculate home, and keep our valuables away so that he could show at his leisure and make money from selling our home (that we were still paying to rent).
We forwarded this email from Bryan to our property manager, with the following note attached: «Hello [property manager], …Mr. Waser is being completely unreasonable and in my opinion, his excessive communications are harassing, annoying, and abusive; moreover, our right to have a peaceful and quiet apartment is being violated with the number of showings that Mr. Waser is demanding to hold. Please inform Mr. Waser that I have requested permission to deny him access to the condo and that [the property management company] has agreed that I am within my right to do so.»
Bryan was not entitled to enter our home at his leisure, and his communications with us were unprofessional, excessive, and offensive at the very least. I I hope that this will help you make an informed decision.
