The owner did my facial. I really liked it, however when you pay for a 90 minute facial and only get a 65 minute facial, it’s just not right. I did think she was pushy with buying products, but I bought them and like them very much. I hope she reads this, because if it wasn’t for the fact that I was cheated out of ½ hour of my facial, I would have gone back. But I won’t now.

This is Cassie Outlaw. Never did you catch me red handed taking anything from you. You lost your fit bit and I allowed you to tear my room apart during business hours to satisfy your claim of theft to which you found nothing. We allowed you to search any place in the spa you desired to which you found nothing. I stayed past my work hours to take your appointment and worked hard to make sure you were happy and comfortable. I have worked with people in health care settings my entire life. I live in and serve the community in Frisco, Plano and Allen in their homes on a very regular basis… very WEALTHY clientele might I add and NEVER has a problem arisen with me. You should be ASHAMED of yourself to attempt to ruin my name and reputation I have put blood, sweat and tears into building. Karma is a bitch lady. Best wishes to you.

I stopped by to have my eyebrows threaded. I will say the threading was not painful at all. However the owner never asked me how I wanted my eyebrows done. It seemed as if she was in a rush or something. She did it very quickly and as soon as she was done she walked out immediately and said «oh you can look in the big mirror.»
As I was walking out there was another woman at the counter. The woman was there for a service and the owner was very umprofessional and rude.
I will not return here for any of her services.

I bought a groupon for a couples massage a year ago. I ended up only using one of the massages and they said that I could come back for the second massage myself. I live out of the area and happened to be there a year later. I talked to the person at the front desk and she said that I still had credit on my account for a free massage.
The massage itself was less to be desired. The 1 hour massage was more like a 40 minute massage and the therapist spent about 3 minutes per body part.
Once I came out to leave a tip the owner, Ruby, was at the front desk. She started to charge me for the massage and when I explained that I had a credit she started to get very defensive and argumentative. I told her I purposely asked if my groupon was still valid when I scheduled the appointment since I knew it had been a while since I was there last. The therapist even came out and said that she did tell me I had a credit and it was her mistake. Ruby however, continued to refuse to accept the groupon and argue with me. I was able to recover the groupon and saw that it also had a $ 65 value that would not expire. Only after I mentioned this did she agree to give me half price but refused to do anything else.
Overall, the customer service and massage were more stressful than relaxing. If you want to leave a massage in a better state than you arrived stay clear of Rubyz Day Spa!!!

Why is Unilocal blocking the good reviews?! I have had 100’s of massages all over the world and Suzie was fantastic. The owner was gracious and accommodated a last minute booking. The décor us not of my taste but it is clean and relaxing. Give it a try!

Not impressed with the massage. I ask for deep pressure and she was giving less pressure than my five year old.

My boyfriend got me a package from them for Valentine’s day and since I didn’t know the price I didn’t have any expectations going in. I got a full facial, a body wrap, and a massage.
I went and got the facial done right before I was going on vacation. The owner did the facial and was VERY pushy about adding to the package I had when I walked in. Because I had no clue what had already been paid for I agreed to something extra to help circulation or something. I had only had one other facial which was a very pleasant experience so I knew something was wrong when it felt like my face was on fire. She left me with some product for ten minutes and the whole time my skin was burning and tingling. I have a high pain tolerance so I could see how some women would have been in hysterics with how much it stung.
Then when she came back she proceeded to criticize my skin saying it was too dry and that I had wrinkles and horrible eyebrows. I guess she thought by telling me how bad I take care of myself I would want to pay her to thread them and buy more services for my face. I sat it out and still tipped a decent tip because I knew I had to come back for the rest of the services my boyfriend bought. At the end of it the owner continued to be VERY pushy about buying products which I actually got suckered into buying one (which I immediately regretted) but it made her stop pestering me and leave me alone. She was very irked that I didn’t leave a bigger tip but my boyfriend said he had included 15% when he bought the package so I was being generous to tip at all…
The next day after the facial I broke out and my skin looked TERRIBLE. Which was really upsetting because it showed in my pictures for the first few days of my vacation. I went to a local place on vacation to ask them how I could make the redness go away and got some ultra calming moisturizer which helped a little. They told me it looked like she has over extracted and that all my pores were reacting to her jamming her tool on my face.
When I made my appointment I didn’t realize I couldn’t do the massage and body wrap that day because I had just had gall bladder surgery so I had to come back a separate day. If I had let the facial alone scare me into not coming back I would have missed out on a decent massage. The other girl who did the massage was very nice and pretty good. I have fibromyalgia so I require a very gentle massage. Most places I have gone to hurt me but she only over worked one spot on me which was sore the next day but the rest of it was very relaxing and the conversation was very pleasant. The wrap was nice. I wouldn’t say it was amazing but it wasn’t horrible either. If my boyfriend hadn’t bought the package there is no way I would have paid to have it all done.
So I would do the massage again but NOT the facial. If you book don’t book with the owner herself unless you want her pestering you the whole time to spend more money and insulting you. The two stars was not for her but the other lady.

Bot the groupon got a mediocre facial and a very good massage. Worth the price I paid. Too much on the aromas though

I got a Groupon for 50 minutes facial and 50 minutes Swedish massage for $ 69. I did not have high expectations given the price but hey it was a fab deal so I couldn’t help myself. Upon getting there I was overwhelmed by incense or rose perfumes. It was giving me a headache– not a good start.
The massage was perhaps the most painful and uncomfortable one I’ve had in my life. I had to tell the lady to ease up a few times and still I felt I was being pummeled. I was literally hoping it would be over soon. I was soooo relieved when it was finally over– there was not an ounce of relaxation in me. The facial was OK. The lady tried to up sale some red hot facial to me saying I would be ‘glowing’ after wards but there is a burning sensation initially. No chance. I scrambled out of there as fast as I could. Guess I got what I paid for…

I had recently purchased a groupon from this spa for a massage and facial. The facial was average and the massage was terrible. The massage therapist left the room twice during my massage, once was to go to the bathroom, and was gone for 10 min. She did feel the need to mention that she would wash her hands, (weird). They had spa music playing that came off and on the speaker. Not a relaxing experience to say the least. I will not return.
