Authentic, fresh sliced and fresh grilled sub sandwiches. Our signature cold subs are served Mike’s Way® with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and The Juice – an exquisite splash of red wine vinegar and olive oil blend, and always finished with spices. Our Famous Philly cheesesteaks are prepared atop a hot grill and made to order. And of course, everything is served on fresh-baked bread.
History
Established in 1956.
It all started back in 1956 in the sea-side town of Point Pleasant, New Jersey and was originally known as «Mike’s Subs». The original owner, Mike, thrived off the seasonal tourist industry and a small population of year round residents.
In 1975, Peter Cancro, only 17 years old at the time, purchased the business with the help of his high school football coach. When the company began franchising in 1987, Peter renamed the business «Jersey Mike’s Subs».
Today, there are 1,300 Jersey Mike’s locations open and in development nationwide.

Steve Z.
Business Owner
After 24 years in corporate America, our family established roots in North Texas in 2000. Found Jersey Mike’s Subs in 2008 falling in love immediately with the sub and brand.
Steve is married to Kelly Githens Zeigler and has 2 grown children, Ayrica & Adam.
Wife Kelly is semi-retired handling PR for our shops and being Glamma to our Grandchildren.
Ayrica, a Baylor Graduate, is a Speech Pathologist and a proud Mother of Landon and baby boy #2 due soon.
Adam, a Baylor Alum, is the Managing Partner in the Jersey Mike’s Business and is found in any 1 of our 4 stores daily.
Steve, Family, & Team enjoy giving back to the community supporting over 50 causes in the Frisco/Plano community raising over $ 50,000.
