Established in 2006.

Pat DeLange has loved swmming and competing since age 5. After a move to Texas in 2004, Pat competed as an amateur in the 40+ age group, winning medals at the State meet in Freestyle and Backstroke. Soon, she began coaching for FASST, Friscos amateur swim team. At the time, Pat was working in Special Education at an elementary school in Frisco. Because of her background in swimming, coaching, lifeguarding, competition, and her passion for creative work with children, Pat was naturally drawn to teaching swim lessons. At first, lessons were held at their HOA pool, then in her backyard. FriscoSwim School has grown to more than 10 employees since that time and now operates year-​round. FriscoSwim looks forward to continuing to serve the community by providing swim lessons for all ages in small classes with experienced and enthusiastic instructors.

Because of Pat’s background in swimming, coaching, lifeguarding, competition, and her passion for creative work with children, Pat was naturally drawn to teaching swim lessons. One of Pat’s close friends told her «you would be a great swim teacher».
