My husband loves all things art. So on Sunday we went to Arts on the Square. The Frisco Square is friendly and gives me a small town feel. It has Nola Grill (which is awesome by the way), a sushi restaurant, a cupcake factory, popcorn, a cinema, and more!
Arts on the Square was a nice little set up with artists. Pottery, fine arts, photography, glass, jewelry, and more.
Parking was free and admission was free!

I love that small town feel with a big city vibe that you get from Frisco Square. I come here quite often as this place is the central location for all of Frisco’s big city events. The courthouse, library, movie theatre, restaurants, and many other businesses are located here. It’s quite easy to find parking if you can navigate the backroads and can locate the library’s multi-​level parking garage. Not big compared to other city centre’s, but that’s kinda why I love Frisco Square. =)
Tip: Come during the holiday season and see the square decked out with dancing holiday lights that plays to the tune of holiday music. =)

Beautiful place to just come hang out. Lots of great places to eat. Wonderful during Christmas. Kids love the area also. Easy to walk around. Cinema right around corner. Go check it out!!!

This is the «old» feeling downtown. I put old in parenthesis because all of the buildings are new, but they are trying to replicate the old town feel. There is everything you need for a night out including restaurants, dessert shops, housing, a library, and city hall. If you include the movie theatre and the stadium, you have even more entertainment.
Parking is easy and there are huge lots (including a garage) just off the square in case it gets crowded. All FREE parking. There is also a valet option if you are so inclined.
My favorite is during Christmas time, the light show is definitely worth it. They time the lights to music and it is a high end show.

I love coming to Frisco Square! It’s grown a lot since I moved here a few years ago. When I first went back in 2009, there wasn’t a whole lot going on. Now they have the movie theater which makes for a nice dinner and movie setting. There’s a few specialty shops but not very many. The best thing about Frisco Square has got to be Christmastime in the Square. Beautiful lights in every inch and choreographed to Christmas tunes. Definitely a great site to see and a great place to bring out-​of-​towners.
