Love, love, LOVE the folks at Frisco Running Co! The are the wizards of the running shoe! Their thirty day with a receipt return policy is great — buy a pair, run a few miles in them and if they aren’t right for your foot, you can exchange or return them. I’ve been ignored at the Tri Shop and the people at the McKinney Run On, while pleasant, didn’t have even a sliver of the knowledge that the Frisco Running Co salespeople did.

I went in for packet pickup and ended up trying on a few shoes. I had warned them in the beginning that I just bought a pair of shoes so I wouldn’t be buying anything today but still wanted to try a few pair on. The lady was super helpful and was nice the whole time, even though I was clear that I was not going to make a purchase. It was an overall good experience and I will definitely be back for my next pair of shoes.

I’ve started running(more like jogging) in November thanks to our adopting of a 1 year old husky with infinite energy. I was wearing my running shoes from high school(8 years old) and shuffled around the neighborhood. I first came to frisco running for some gloves as the temp dropped, but I came in again to find new shoes. My back was aching, and my toes would go numb after the first mile. Now that I’m up to 3 miles 3 – 4 times a week, I figure I should splurge on what matters most– the shoes. Shana was working again the second visit, and she was happy to watch how I walk(I pronate) and suggest some new kicks. It really wasn’t even a splurge as I ended up paying $ 140(after a $ 10 discount from last time). My last few pairs of Nikes were close to that, and these should actually do me good. I’m excited to take my new shoes for a run and am looking forward to coming back to Frisco Running for more gear!
