AutoSplash Car Wash & Oil Change

As far as appearance and freebies, this place has gone waaaaay downhill in the last couple of years. Without all those extras, this place is just plain overpriced. However, the employees worked really hard to clean the inside of my car. The only complaint I have with them is they either threw away or lost my origami cat that was on my dash. :(RIP hamlet.

They did a great job. Even when I had to go back because they forgot to clean the Windows. I will get my car washed there from now on.

The car wash is average or a little below, but never ever take a rain check on a promised service. I had an oil change (which was pretty expensive for that service) and I took a rain check for the $ 25 clean in and out. When I returned to claim my wash I was told that policies had changed, they were no longer honoring those promises, and I only had a $ 9 credit. They lost a customer over this practice. There was never an indication this would happen or I would have waited for the clean after my oil change.

I’ve been going there several years with my 4 cars. Really the only reason to go there is the free car wash for an inspection as the service isn’t anything to brag about. The last few times I haven’t used the free carwash because of the long wait and they use dirty rags on inside of the windows. I have to reclean them myself to get rid of the streaks. This last trip is my last. I have an older vehicle that needs a dyno emission test on the annual inspection. They didn’t tell me there was an extra charge and when I asked about it the employee was rather rude and told me they charge as much as they legally can for it and good luck finding another place that does it. Well one phone call to the Goodyear people and I found out they do it for no extra charge. If Goodyear can’t do it next year I will find someplace else even if it’s in Allen or Plano just to avoid the rudeness directed to me today.

Went in last week before my trip to get my oil changed, no problems. Very friendly staff, quick, price was competitive $ 72 synthetic for my jeep. Everything went very smooth and left quite pleased with the service. With any oil change you get a free car wash, awesome but it was about to rain so I took a rain check.
I came back a week later got my rig washed, vacuumed, armour all, full service and they did a great job. Tipped the dryers, left with a nice clean inside and out wrangler.

Went to this location today for a State Inspection and Car wash and was beyond pleased!
Very polite and courteous! Amazing customer service! Was in and out in about 30 minutes! Noticed that every employee at this business was very happy and seemed to enjoy working there. They went above and beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. ⁵⁄₅ I would definitely recommend to everyone I know.

This auto splash location continues to deliver consistent good quality service!
I used to go to the Mr. clean on Preston but the quality has dropped significantly. I will continue to use auto splash as long as the service continues to be where it’s at now.
5^th time here and work continues to be good.

I’ve been here a few times, but I haven’t had a chance to write a review yet. I went there today after being told by the NTB next door that an oil change would be a 3 hour wait.
I drove up and was greeted by a nice man. I asked him if he could do an oil change for me or if I would have to wait for a few hours. We joked for a moment and then he guided me in. He asked if I wanted to if the car wash today, or if I wanted to do it another day. My car was a mess, to say the least, so I opted to do it immediately following the service.
The oil change was done quickly, considering there were 3 other cars in the bay and a 4^th that arrived a few minutes after me. I personally think that a $ 50 oil change is a bit pricy, but I guess you can justify it with the «free» car wash.
I do like doing the car wash after the oil change because you don’t have to wait in line. That’s always nice. The car wash is thorough, but a little rough. My license plate always gets bent, which is annoying.
After I pulled up for the detailing, I waited inside. I know that they do it all by hand, but for having 2 guys working on it, it sure does take a long time. The detailing takes about double the time of the oil change, which seems excessive. Especially since I drive a Mazda3… there’s not much real estate going on there. Haha.
I do like their 10 day guarantee, but I think most car washes have a similar policy.
Overall, I’ve been satisfied, and will return.

I went for an oil change and car wash, car wash ruin back bumper, and the oil change didn’t close the hood properly, went I got in the freeway the hood pop open, almost kill myself, I call them and their answer was” the owner is not gonna pay for damages” guys if you appreciate life, don’t go to this place, your car can blow up with your family and «the owner don’t pay for damages». I am just waiting to see what my lawyer have to say.

I drive a 1986 Dodge Ram. I needed a state inspection. I only have to do a safety inspection. You know… Check the horn and blinkers, make sure the seatbelt works, etc. Five minutes tops! An hour and a half later… I finally leave. Pathetic.

I came once for an oil change and car wash that’s included. Oil change was fine but the car wash seemed to take ages! It was a Saturday afternoon and not worth the wait. Also wasn’t that impressed with the interior wash.
Came again for just a wash and I approve. It was a Thursday night and was great. No wait. Wash options of 4 to 15 for exterior and complimentary dry. 10 day guarantee.

Car washed. That part is great, been a repeat customer. Leaving the parking lot, 8 months pregnant with my 4 year old in tow. My car breaks down half in there parking lot and half on Preston Road. Not one of those oh so helpful workers even so much as walked my direction. They stared plenty, and pointed. Two even smoked a cig and looked on. Classy. Thanks for all the help gentlemen.

I went here to get my car washed and oil changed. I grabbed a come across the parking lot and then sat in lobby of car wash. After 40 minutes I was told my oil wasn’t changed because they decided it didn’t need it (it did based on mileage) and they didn’t wash car. They just had it parked outside. I had noticed it wasn’t in oil change bay 20 minutes earlier but thought it was getting washed. Manager made excuses. Will not be returning.

Always nice and good service. Love that it’s a all in one stop. Kill 3 birds with one stone. Also love how they support all of the local high schools and always willing to donate to them. It may not be perfect but I haven’t been to a car wash that is.

No one greeted me when I pulled in. Once I did talk to some, still no «hello» but a «you have to wait till we pull you in.» Not a smile, nothing. I will never go to the car wash/​oil change place. I smiled at the man and told him I was going to leave, he shrugged and said «ok» and walked away. So unnecessarily rude. I went next door to Napa and got helped right away.

Worst service ever. There is far too much competition in Frisco to tolerate this level of incompetence. It took me and hour and 16 minutes to get the $ 25 drive thru wash, towel dry and interior clean. 55 of those minutes my car sat drying in the wind untouched. I saw 2 young teen girls come in after me (and the 4 other adults waiting the same amount of time as me) and leave before us. The «manager» wandered around directing a few cars and staring at the ground while 2 – 3 guys worked the cars slowly and out of order.

Can anyone recommend another car wash? Not sure why I keep coming back with all the bad reviews. I must love the horrible service.

Not bad at all! I received a coupon for a free basic wash, which had expired.lol. I needed a wash, so I asked him if he would take it anyway, he said he could. Sweet! He offered me the free wash or $ 5 off something better. I was in a hurry, so I stuck with the free basic. It was pretty good, was in and out pretty quickly. There was sign that you can get a free hand dry. but I decided to head to the vacuums and leave. Tons of free vacuums, very convenient. The whole process was under 10 minutes. Happy camper!

I have been here in the past and had multiple good experiences. Recently I went to get my state inspection and my car detailed. I had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge my presence. When someone finally came to talk to me they said they weren’t doing inspections that day. I asked «and it took you 15 minutes to tell me I can’t be helped?» The technician replied, politely at least «Yes mam.»
I would have gladly gone ahead with getting my car detailed if someone had told me within a reasonable amount of time that I could not get the inspection that day.
From now on I will take my business somewhere the customers aren’t ignored.

$ 6 wash and self vacuum does the job!
Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews. I’ve been in Frisco about a year and have been here plenty of times. The service is always friendly. On very nice days, it can get busy, but that’s how car washes make money and exist. If it’s super packed, I just save myself the headache and go another time. They do not pressure you to upgrade your wash and the options are clearly marked for you when you pull up. They take care of your antennas for you as well.
You have the choice to self-​vacuum (free) or have them do it. When they do it, you can help yourself to some water and a typical waiting area. So it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a car wash.
They do offer other services like oil changes, but I have not done those here.
