We haven’t eaten here in a while and decided to have a quick lunch. When we arrived there was a bit of a wait for someone to greet and seat us. I was worried this would be a bad omen since they were definitely not packed. But once we were seated we ordered a pizza and spaghetti with Italian sausage added to the pasta. Our orders arrived promptly and both were exactly what we requested. We noticed that there were only two servers and apparently only two kitchen staff on duty, which explained the delay in being greeted. Our server, Spencer, kept our drinks filled and checked on us regularly throughout the meal. We saw some previous reviews that were not favorable, but our meal and service were handled with a problem. I would still recommend this restaurant for Italian dishes.

My husband was sooooo excited to take me here for Valentines dinner! He grew up going to the original one and was very excited to find out there was one in Friendswood. First red flag, the place was pretty empty for any night let alone Valentines. We decided on escargot for an app, garden salad for him, caesar salad for me, manicotti with sausage and the and the beef medallions with pasta. Drinks took a long time. When I got my martini it was so salty from olive juice I could barley drink it and switched to wine. There was 2 pieces of bread with the escargot and it was pretty meh. My salad was warm and really didn’t have any flavor. I didn’t finish it. When our entrée came out just looking at it you knew it was going to be bad. It LOOKED bad. It WAS bad. The medallions, I don’t know how to describe it, just bad. The pasta that came with it had I think was supposed to be an alfredo sauce. Not really sure but the pasta was all stuck together and pasty with the sauce tasting like some sort of white stuff. Same with the Manicotti. My husband was so sad and kept apologizing to me because it was so bad. My heart went out to him. He went on and on about the place the whole way there. It was like going to see your childhood home and finding out it’s been blown up. The final straw was this morning. My tummy was destroyed and had to stay close to the bathroom. Unless you like that sort of thing I would steer clear of this place.

This was my first and last time eating here. We went to the Sunday Brunch because I had purchased a Living Social deal for brunch. The place was a dump. The upholstery in the booths was coming apart, worn, and torn. The floor was so filthy it was sticky, and we were there 10 minutes after the place opened. I showed the waiter my Living Social coupon, and he said he would take it after we ate and I could use it then. The food was mediocre, but not bad. Not good enough to make me want to come back. BUT, when I gave the waiter our living social coupon, then he tells me he won’t honor it because in the fine print it says it can’t be used in December. My bad for missing the fine print, but he knew I wanted to use the coupon, and he had already told me I could use it. Overall, a really crappy experience here. Filthy and worn furniture, so-so food, and crappy service.

This place is beyond gross. It makes me think everyone that eats here never goes to Houston to eat real food. The waiter was in a rush to leave and while the appetizers were palatable the main courses were comparable to bertolli.

First off the pizza was very good. Our first trip here. Servers are pretty clueless. Buffet on Sunday $ 18.95. Looks great. Bottomless Mimosa $ 10 each, it’s mainly orange juice. We ordered two bottomless mimosas and they only brought one. After tasting that it was mainly orange juice, we decided to go with beer. Cost for a small glass of orange juice eight dollars. Decided to go with the pizza. Ordered the special. It was done very well. Good combination of meat and veggies. Wanted to order a beer but there’s no beer list and no one knows what kind of beer they have. Middle of Sunday lunch hour and the place is vacant. Maybe they’re just having a bad day. I don’t think we’ll try this one again.

I have dined in once and gotten pizza carry out once. It’s a nice restaurant with good atmosphere. They have a nice patio and bar area as well. The server, Tim, was accommodating and friendly. Even offered me a drink while the pizza was waiting to be ready. The tilapia dish at lunch is great and I highly reccommend it. The pizzas are good too, however one turned out to be a little too soggy. The food is good overall, but can be a little pricey.

Decent food but In desperate need of remodeling. Tripped on the unraveling carpet and then set down on the booth seat which had holes… On both sides. There are other options in this type of restaurant that are nicer, cheaper and with better food.

Mediocre. My aunt loves this place so she took me here for lunch. I was expecting superb service and quality of good. I’ve been on the paleo diet for five weeks and was looking for a good cheat meal so I got the baked penne. It was pricey for the size and it was tough and had little to no flavor. They don’t offer bread and oil or any salad like other Italian restaurants. It’s all separate at steep prices I don’t know I was just expecting more. There was only waitress during lunch too and I had to ask her several times for sugar and refills. I was not impressed.

So the waiter is pretty nice and the atmosphere is really relaxed. My only question is, what kinda of Italian restaurant doesn’t bring you bread and oil? It’s a little disappointing. The dinner I had was pretty dang good and the desert was on point as well. I will be back for sure.

Ordered Veal Picatta, one of the more expensive menu items. Received two slices of unidentifiable meat, 3/8″ thick, over cooked to have the look and texture of jerky. Required a steak knife and elbow grease to cut. Told waitress of the travesty, only to have her respond with, «I’ll let them know»… Another in our party ordered Eggplant Parmesan, which was also inedible, due to it being fried to a crisp. When waitress was told of the disappointing food quality, she again responded with(you guessed it), «I’ll let ‘them’ know». Also, until requested, all food items were served without the offering of cracked pepper or fresh Parmesan. Finally, hoping to salvage something from this culinary debacle, we ordered Crème Brûlée. It was delivered to the table with a ¼″ layer of charred sugar atop an almost frozen custard. We were forced to use our spoons to crack, then remove the bitter, hard-rock shell, to explore the custard below. When the waitress was notified of this, she said she was ‘embarrassed’. While we watched her convey the details of our deplorable experience to the manager, he couldn’t be bothered. He never moved toward our table to view the uneaten food, nor would he make eye contact. Paid full price(over $ 135, including tip) for party of four. Will not return! Spinach fettuccine: good; Wait staff: inconsistent; Management: poor; Cook: pyromaniac;

Ordered for pickup. Picked up 30 minutes later. People working were not unfriendly but not real happy except when talking to each other. Paid almost $ 50 for two takeout meals– got home 10 minutes later. Food was cold, only the entrée with pasta, no napkins or utensils. The fish reminded me or Gordons frozen battered fish. I may try eat inside but my advice is to not take out.

The food was delicious! Service was slow and I’m still waiting on my cheesy bread. Prices are steep for lunch, but the food made up for the prices. Would definitely visit again.

I’m seriously addicted to the«pollo poretti» it’s the best dish here. While the food comes out slow the service is always friendly and good(I’ve never dined when it’s busy) the garlic bread is hot and fresh. Nice, clean ambiance but I wish it wasn’t so expensive and to me it’s really high priced for pasta. My wife swears it’s the best spinach alfredo she has ever had. We always go back when our craving starts up for pasta.

My office will sometimes get takeout here for lunch. I’m not impressed. Food is flavorless and service is nearly nonexistent when picking it up. Numerous times I have gone to pick up the food and they won’t start getting it ready until you are there to pick it up and pay for it. Then you just stand there by yourself for 10 minutes, waiting around with no staff in sight. We quit going here as a lunch option…

Was really excited to try a new Italian spot close to home… was even more excited to leave! The smell was not great, the service was awkwardly terrible from server to manager, the food was some of the worst ive ever had, presentation and taste. To say we were collectively disappointed is an understatement. To say we won’t be back is absolute!

This place has really grown on me. I remember eating there for lunch about two years ago and thinking I’d never return but I’m glad my husband and I decided to give it another shot. The service isn’t the greatest during peak dinner time but it’s never been terrible. Once we get our wine I’m fairly easy to please. The menu has good variety and I’ve been very pleased with everything I ordered. I really enjoy the bar too. The bartenders work quickly, are fun and very attentive. We usually ask to sit at a booth but last time we were seated at a table in the corner of their back room. Its very comfortable and I love the atmosphere.
