Tint Techs

We went back to get the windows tinted. We were quoted a price over the phone and when we were done the actual price was almost double. Then we were told that if we wanted to use a card to pay there was a 10% charge. There are scratches under the tint. It really does not look good. We went there the first time to get the tint done and it was the price quoted and looked beautiful. We feel that we were scammed today and then forced to pay more to use a credit card (which wasn’t the case the first visit).

I purchased a groupon in October 2013 good for $ 120 for the back half of a car tint. I called before purchasing the groupon and asked if the groupon would cover the full price and they said yes there would be no additional fees. When I called a week later to go in they said the next available appointment was in three weeks. I thought that might be a sign they are really good and really busy. I showed up this morning and they told me I had called and canceled my appointment and they had made another appointment for someone else. What? They said I could wait and see if they could squeeze me in. I waited for 30 minutes and nobody else showed up. They said they could start on my car. I filled out a little slip with personal and car information. Then they told me they were out of the 5% tint, at this point I was done with them and said to just put whatever they had on it. Then they told me it would be an extra $ 30. The kid helping me went to the back and came up front and said he was mistaken and it would be an extra $ 50. He looked at my groupon then went to the back and said the guy is going to come and talk to me. The person I had originally spoken with came up and said everything all over again about me canceling, being busy, no dark tint, etc. Then he said the price was going to be an extra $ 70! I just asked for my key and walked out of there. I really hope I can get a refund from groupon or I will just try to sell it or give it away.

Called the day before and got a quote, everything sounded great… That is until I got there (after driving 40 min of course) only to be told it would cost $ 30 more than I was quoted. On a $ 120 job that’s quite an increase. They were extremely rude as well. EFF these guys. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Always get our tint completed here for our cars. They have the fastest availability, friendliest service, and always talk to us and get it right in the quality and type if job we want done.
I’ve never had any of the tint fade, or change colors, or ever peel. Excellent products !!

Just had my windows tinted here yesterday, using a Groupon I bought awhile back. They were super nice, explained the different kinds of tints to me, and even gave me a ride back to my house and picked me up when they were finished. My car looks great also!

Worst customer service ever!!! Paid too much for the service and will have to go get it redone somewhere else. There are lots of bubbling on the tint, and scratches. The tint used is cheap, the owner blamed the scratches on the tint on my car. His words, «I’m not going to eat the job.» He did not try to compromise. And as a female customer, I felt insulted that he was talking to my boyfriend even though it was my car and I was standing in front of him. DO NOT USE TINT TECHS!
