The Shrine of St. Therese

I hadn’t been to mass in awhile being a «cradle Catholic» at one point I began to doubt the teachings of the Church and began to explore different Non –Denominational churches. I was still unsatisfied and felt the pull to revisit my Catholicism, I decided to give The Shrine of St Therese a try, I’m so thankful I did. St Therese is an old quaint church that has that family feel to it missing in so many churches (all denominations) today. The parishioners are welcoming and friendly. Father Michael is a charismatic, amicable priest and his homilys are some of the best I’ve ever heard. While he may pepper his homily with laughter occasionally they are always in relation to that days Gospel. What I like is he doesn’t make you feel like he is preaching to you but rather conversing with a friend, and he actually keeps your attention. Wonderful church — I can’t say enough good things about St Therese or Father Michael, except after what seemed to be a long and tedious journey… I’ve come home.
