Tactical Ops Brewing

This is the newest craft brewery to open in Fresno/​Clovis. They have been shipping their product for some time now to local pubs such as Goldstein’s Mortuary/​Deli and Spokeasy. One of the owner/​operators is an engineer and they converted the back side of the engineering firm’s building into a small craft brewery. They are also in the process of expanding both their beer production as well as the public’s ability to use their commercial tasting room, which currently has very limited hours.

I went to last Thursday’s «open night» and found about a dozen brew customers standing around the small bar (only one chair for customers so far!) literally within the brew tank area. They had six brews currently available and I sampled two. Quite excellent. Most were five bucks a pint. There was the Thursday night NFL football game on a large screen above the taps, and a side table for the purchase of shirts, glasses etc with the company’s logo. They are awaiting city approval to expand the public tasting room. No food is available at this time.
