Standing Waves Colon Hydrotherapy & Massage

I was skeptical of going through with the process and it took me about a six months to follow-​up on scheduling an appointment. I read various reviews and knew of the benefits. Being an African-​American man I know the risks of colon cancer and various other issues, plus being diabetic I know I have to monitor everything and ensure my body receives appropriate nutrition. I have had two sessions with Elayne and both have left me feeling better about my decision to follow through with the cleansing. After the sessions I have been able to lower my insulin dosage as the insulin is getting where it needs to, my appetite has decreased, I have more energy, sleep better, and I no longer feel bloated unable to breath. She has also encouraged activities I can use with my children and helped me realize that my stress level is high from my drive to work until I lay down in bed, therefore I am learning ways to relax at work and during my drive home and at home. In my profession I work with people all day and my job is to monitor both verbal and non-​verbal responses of people and Elayne has a strong passion for the job she does in helping people reach their goals. She may not present the information the way you want it, but if you close your eyes and listen to the message you will benefit more, as will your family. I encourage others to take advantage of the treatments offered at Standing Waves and glad they are offered in the homelike setting and not a stuffy office, as it helps with the relaxation and bodily response. I plan to continue as I want to see my children have children one day.

I purchased two sessions through Groupon and found out that I was only able to use one personally. When I explained to Elayne that I misunderstood, she was kind enough to honor the second Groupon.
After the two Groupon sessions, I purchased another package of 4 treatments and after my last session, purchased another package of 4 treatments.
Elayne is passionate about colon hydrotherapy and possesses a wealth of knowledge when it comes to maintaining internal health. Elayne provides pressure point massages to your body to make sure that I receive every benefit of my treatment.
Elayne recently relocated her office and I find the new environment to be very calming. The ceiling fan is hypnotizing and the background music played during the session is very soothing.
Unlike the others, I recommend Elayne and Standing Waves.
PS She is very well read and conversations during the treatment are informative and many times, very funny.

Same experience as many. Extremely difficult to make an appointment. First we played phone tag. I’d leave a message saying what times I had available and she’d call back and leave a message just saying she was returning my call – no mention of times she had or whether any of my times would work. When I finally got her on the phone she said I had to call back because she was getting her nails done (yes she actually told me that and said to call back in an hour) and then when I called back she said it was more than an hour and I’d have to call back again (I suppose she was at lunch this time). Seriously? I have a work schedule too and can’t call back within a time limit. I was about to give up at that point, but I finally actually made an appointment but when when it was confirmed through a phone message the night before, she had moved to her «new location»…her apartment. No thanks.

I had heard about this place through a coworker of mine, so when a good friend asked if I knew of a place for colon hydrotherapy, I recommended Standing Waves. She saw Elaine and had an awful experience. Not only was she rude and only talked about herself but my friend purchased a series of sessions and never received her last $ 65 session! Elaine kept ignoring her phone calls and refusing to fit her in! I personally would look into other places if you’re interested in this treatment.
