SpringHill Suites Fresno

So impressed with our stay here! After our previous weekend stay at the Extended Stay America in the vicinity this place was a complete upgrade from the experience of that awful place!
The room was clean, nice, spacious and perfect for our weekend long stay!!!
The morning breakfast staff was beyond amazing!!! They greeted us and rushed food out so that we could make it to our hospital rotation on time! Offered to have food out earlier for us the next day!
I will definitely stay at this location again! Customer service done right and you could teach your neighbors a thing or two about how to treat customers!!!

Here for a week and we have nothing to complain. Good breakfast especially muffin and egg. They have iPod/​iPhone player in the room as well.

We booked a one night stay for our friends wedding and our experience here was amazing. From check in to check out the hotel was nice and staff was super friendly and helpful.
We drove in from Vegas the day of the wedding and were running behind so from calling them in our way and getting a early check in to just storming in and having the front desk rush our check in I think they did phenomenal with just letting us park our car in the front to getting us in our room quickly to just charging everything we grabbed from the concession to our room because we were starving Mike or Matt I believe who was in front that weekend was awesome and accommodating.
The hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious and up to date, the beds were comfy and there is a nice size living space with a couch a desk a fridge a microwave a coffee pot and a sink separate from the bathroom which really helps when you got 2 kids and bottle to clean, Milk to store and space just to get a little distance from the rug rats (just kidding I love my girls).
Any how the main lobby is super nice and there is a complimentary hot breakfast with lots to option and it is set up quit nice. Matt or Mike the front desk gentleman that was so awesome helping up even went out of his way to bring my 2 year old daughter some coloring items just to make her happy! (Thank you btw)
The location is perfect to me because it was 2 minutes from the free way and with in minutes to all sorts of key location like dinning, shopping and entertainment. I’m originally from Fresno and now love in Vegas with which has tons of Mega hotels and Dinning and shopping and entertainment but I love Fresno and I love this hotel and would recommend it and come back!

CORPORATE GREED ALERT — Make sure to check your confirmation prior to paying and your final receipt. I stayed here last year for a work trip. I booked one room at Towneplace, but once we determined Springhill was a cheaper rate our group lead worked with the Cleveland Call Center and booked our group of 4 here. The Call Center conveniently booked us all for extra rooms, the onsite staff conveniently mentioned absolutely nothing about them and only charged each of us for one room onsite. Later they put 3 extra rooms on my credit card.
This is how we were booked and charged:
Individual #1 — myself, booked for 4 rooms, charged for 4 rooms which were disputed by Bank of America, but not removed.
Individual #2 — group lead, booked for 1 room, initially charged for 7, but ultimately only 2 via dispute by Discover Card.
Individual #3, booked for 4 rooms, only charged for 1 (after a second was removed, how random).
Individual #4, booked for 4 rooms, only charged for 1.
I pointed out that there were clearly mistakes here given the mismatch with bookings and charges, but was told the hotel needed to recover their costs in some way and I guess I am unlucky. They also had the audacity to blame it on our group lead saying she was culpable and it was my fault for authorizing her to use my card.
Or maybe Marriott runs a scam between their Call Center and their hotels to cash in. How convenient the Call Center adds rooms and the hotel staff don’t ask you about them or charge you onsite for them.

Wow what a surprise, I was very impressed by this hotel. It was super clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I called for an early check-​in and with no hesitation we were able to check in two hours early for our friend’s wedding. I highly recommend this hotel, the price is right and free breakfast. :)

I have stayed here 3 times over the years. The rooms are fairly spacious at this price point, nice and clean. During my most recent stay, many of the rooms were undergoing renovation. I supposedly got a renovated room. It was nice and clean but not noticeably different from my previous stays. The bad news is that there was a dripping sound in the bathroom’s ceiling vent. A light sleeper would not have had a restful night’s sleep. Rooms on the north side of the building are also close to Herndon Ave, which can be fairly noisy.
Internet speeds have not kept pace with progress. I measured up and download speeds at 1.7 Mbps on a Saturday afternoon using the usual online speed test sites. This is adequate for checking email but insufficient for streaming video. In this day and age, hotels should offer a minimum of 5 Mbps down. Fast Internet access is a competitive selling point.
Breakfast was reasonably good. The standard DIY waffle iron, eggs, cereals, fruits, yogurts, breads and juices.

Went here as part of a group. Someone in the group woke up to bedbugs in her bed. Hotel made it right by cleaning all of her stuff, comping the room, and providing a voucher.
Large rooms with sitting area and separate sleeping area. Included a wet bar, couch with pullout and a chair. Bathroom was large and had tile.
Stayed in a two bed room. Mattress was a bit rough and felt old.
Had a good breakfast and a large workout area. Wifi was extremely slow.

What a pleasant surprise. Room was spacious and clean, nicely designed and very comfortable. Very Friendly staff.
Breakfast the next morning was very good; eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, juice assorted breads and pastries, coffee.
The entrance is on Fresno street, so watch closely, we missed it the first time. Overall, excellent experience, reasonable price. Will stay again when in Fresno.

I stayed here for work and I had a conference call run late. I was in a rush to get out and I left my clothing hanging in the closet. The cleaning service turned it in even though I also forgot to leave a tip. The hotel called me right away and they shipped me my clothing. I am so appreciative! It was my expensive suit that they could have sold on e-​bay. Thank you, thank you, thank you everyone at Springhill Suites. I so appreciate your honesty and care. I will be back!

Hidden fees on top of hold. Third party site and website are not accurate. First time I’ve had a bad experience with any Marriott affiliate. No carts available to bring bags up.

Stayed overnight on way from Napa Valey vacation back to Southern California. Didn’t expcet much, but boy was I impressed! New, clean, excellent staff and a spacious room. Very nice pool & spa and we had it all to ourseleves the next day! Well appointed fitness room as well.
Only negative was the commplimentary breakfast. Packed with guests, which is to be expected, but area was WAY understaffed. Overflowing trash containers, unbussed tables, food on carpet, etc. It appeared their was only one person working entire area and she was busy handling the buffett. Other than that, an excellent stay and I would highl recommend this hotel

This hotel was recommended to us based on positive Unilocal reviews for our week long stay in the Fresno area. One of my law enforcement friends said «overall» it’s only one of two that she would recommend.
The hotel «appears» clean by all outward appearances. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast in the morning is pretty standard and decent. Parking is plentiful and location is excellent.
What isn’t decent or acceptable is the how clean it really is once you get passed the surface. The towels in the room were disgustingly rank! All five days worth! It smelled as if they had been washed in dirty water. If it were one towel, I wouldn’t comment but it was every last towel, each and every day!!! If they use a professional laundry service and the towels come back like this, fire them and get a refund!!! I am inclined to believe they do their own laundry. Which means the towels smell bad because they use dirty water, overfill the washers or don’t use soap. Whatever the reason, there is NO EXCUSE for this!!!
In the mornings prior to leaving the room for the day, I may leave an opened bottle of milk out. The maid never saw it as trash and would just leave it. I had left bits of trash out two days in a row on purpose and no one threw it away. One day the maid left a cup and dirty sponge with hair on it in our bathroom. Just gross!!!
Overall, I expect more from a Marriott brand hotel!

Ok hotel. I mean $ 200 gets you a clean room, which includes a bed, living room, mini kitchen. All said not bad!
Food was not very good at all brown rubber sausage patties, powdered eggs, and something called «coffee»
Overall not bad for overnight business, but anything else go elsewhere.

If you have a service dog and want to stay here, I don’t suggest it. They do not know the laws and harass you about what your condition is. My husband had to read them the law and still wanted more info, we also showed them her service card and still it wasn’t enough! I will NEVER stay here again. Rooms are nice but the customer service was very disappointing! They are rude and very disrespectful!!!

Don’t ask me why, but I love reviewing hotels. Probably because I do so much research when I travel. I will probably copy and paste this into TripAdvisor. Anyways, I had to stay here during a week long orientation to a new job. I have never been to Fresno and was a little worried about the area. The Springhill Suites were kind of tucked away right off of a main road so it was nice and easy to find. Check in was a breeze and the staff were very friendly. Free WiFi!
My room was quite big. The rooms here are designed for more than just sleeping. I had a separate living room, vanity, as well as a small kitchen with a sink, fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable and there wasn’t any outside noise. TV stations were pretty basic for a hotel room. I felt safe and comfortable here and obviously that is important when traveling alone.
SpringHill offered a pretty large breakfast buffet with not so bad food. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal bar and dry cereal. Most places would charge 9.99 for a breakfast like that. If i have to return to Fresno, I will consider Springhill again!

This is the only place that I stay when in Fresno. I travel weekly for work and am in Fresno at least once a month for three to four days at a time. This place is always great. The staff is very friendly Nd the rooms are very clean. They look new. The free breakfast is very good, far above average.
I often ask for a few cartons of milk at night and they give it to me free of charge. They also take great notes on their regulars preferences so they can have what you like (room, floor, etc,) ready for you at check in. The staff remembers me by name better them any five star I stay at. I am a big Springfield fan and always look for them first when I’m out of town. Great addition to the Marriott chain.

Clean and good parking.

This hotel was pretty nice. All that you can ask for in Fresno. New and very clean room. Super friendly front desk girl named May.

We have stayed in many a Marriott. But this was terrible. Our family stayed for a wedding in the area. Came back late and tired. We rolled out the sofa bed for our son and the mattress was in horrible condition. It was literally falling apart. We called downstairs and they said we could trade rooms because they couldn’t so anything about it. We looked next door and the mattress was just as bad. We stayed and made the best of it looking forward to speaking to the manager the next morning. We spoke to Jennifer the manager and she said well sorry but oh well. Any decent hotel would comp the room or offer a discount. She offered nothing except when my husband pressed she said I will give you points. Really? I don’t think that’s good enough. There are many hotels in the area. A hilton right next door be smart and go there.

May was super helpful at the front.
Breakfast was excellent for being free, and the woman refilling everything seriously hustled.
The rooms were nice, I liked having the sitting area and the mini kitchen.
