Spike Customs is a custom motorcycle fabrication and service shop in Fresno, CA. Specializing in custom metal fabrication and hand tooled leather work, we also provide full service and repair to our customers and can work on vintage and custom projects that most other shops wouldn’t be able to handle.

History

Established in 2007.

The owner, Spike, started working on motorcycles and customizing cars when he was 16, chopping them up in his grandparents driveway. Since then he has gone to school for mechanics and design and worked in professional shops winning awards all across the country.

Spike Customs opened it’s doors to the public in 2007 in Colorado, and in 2011 Spike moved the business from frozen Colorado to sunny California, ready to bring his award winning fabrication style to the Central Valley.

I started chopping up motorcycles and customizing cars in my grandparents’ driveway when i was 16. After being an automotive technician i went to school for motorcycle mechanics and design and began building and working on harleys and custom motorcycles both new and vintage. It didn’t take long before i came to a dead end, not being able to find the parts that i needed with the style that i wanted. I had to start making my own parts to keep improving my designs to my vision and not be limited to what other people made. In much the same way, I picked up leather tooling and seat making because there just was nothing out there with my vision. Today my bikes and custom seats have won shows and awards across the country (and some across the globe) and have been in almost every major motorcycle magazine and show at one time or another over the years.
