Scrip Taxi

Called last night for a taxi home from the fairgrounds. After I was informed there would be a 40 minute wait I asked to change the pick up location to my friends house that was near by (because I did have a ride there). I definitely did not want to be waiting at the fairgrounds for who knows how long at 2am. The girl on the phone then got very snappy asking why I’m changing the pickup location and if I’m walking and just expect the taxi to follow me. Just as I was trying to explain the situation (which I shouldn’t of had to in the first place) she hung up on me. All I have to say is thank god for Lyft.

Sadly their aren’t many cab companies in Fresno. I’m currently a few minutes away from waiting an hour for a cab ride that was supposed to be here «in 15 minutes» 30 mins, fine. 45 mins, bad. However, an hour 3 phone calls and being rude is just messed up. I wish I Über was bigger here.
Just cancelled after an hour. Über is cheaper and will be here in 4 mins.

Worst place to call for a taxi. I called at 5am and asked for a taxi cab to come at 6am. Its 7am now and they didn’t call. I would have missed my train if I didn’t find an alternate ride.

It always makes me think when I see so many great post about a company that it must be the owners and employees! Now I’m sure of it. The hotel suggested them as there are not many good taxis in the area except them. Hmm! I thought after this morning it was just a bad experience but now here I am sitting on a bench at the place where I’m to be picked up and it has been over a hour I have called 2 times and they keep saying he will be there in a minute. The last call was 20 min ago this morning I had a reservation for 8 and they didn’t show up till 830 after the hotel called them several times.
I hate to leave a bad review and try to find something good but I got nothing. Bad service, unreliable and the cars smell like someone smoked a warehouse full of tobacco in there.

For the love of god, thank you Scrip Taxi for being the fastest, most «on-​it» cab company I have ever used. After being on a standing room only train then a hot, cramped, smelly ass Amtrak bus for 7 hours, it was like a little piece of air conditioned, fresh smelling, cushiony seat heaven. Dispatch was totally awesome and made sure the guy driving the cab was there waiting for me when I got off the bus so I wouldn’t have to stand there by myself at midnight waiting, the driver was super cool, a really funny guy. He got me to my destination really fast, he was a great driver and the cab was very clean and smelled great! I would most definitely use them if I ever need a cab in the Fresno area again! Can’t recommend them any higher!

Prompt service. I wanted a taxi 30 minutes from the time I called and it was early! Clean car too.

Quick service! Good drivers! Decent rates. Nothing but good things to say about this taxi service.

I called for a Taxi on a Wednesday morning at around 10pm and was told it’d take 15 to 20 min for a car to arrive. An hour later I had to call a different cab company altogether because the car never came. Take my advice, don’t waste your time with this service…

At first after seeing this company had only 1 star on Unilocal we were hesitant to call. We called another taxi but the wait time was 40 min. We read the review and decided the customer was «FLAKEY» and nightmare to deal with.
We called, 5 min later Carlos showed up in a minivan. He knew where to take us and 10 min later we were back at our hotel room!
On the way there we used A+ taxi and the taxi overheated! Really?
On the way back we called Yellow Cab and they had 40 min wait on Wed night! Really?
Going there rate was $ 23! Coming back rate was $ 18!!! Aha!!!
Will call these guys again for sure! Please read the ridicules 1-​star review! Obviously gogo dance needs to learn how to use cabs!

Their service is very bad!
I called them once around 1:38 am to receive a ride home from a club I gogo danced at. The taxi cab service didn’t know where the club was. The lady on the phone asked me for the address, and before they arrived I just ended up walking home because I didn’t want to wait.
The same lady called me back and rudely told me that I was suppose to call back if I didn’t need the cab. I told her I didn’t know because that was the first time I have ever called a cab.
Today however, I called and asked if I could have another cab from a hotel to the Amtrak. She sent another cab out, and the driver said he was waiting by the lobby. I told him I did not see him, and I was sitting outside waiting. I then told him I had to go upstairs to my room to look for my train ticket; I had misplaced it and I needed it to get on the train home. I asked if he could wait, he rudely said «No.» In shock and disbelief, I asked him if he said «no», and before I knew it, he hung up the phone.
Also today, I started walking to the Amtrak station in Fresno, and I decided to call another company. This company directed me to the same lady; this time she told me that I had to call another cab company and that she wasn’t going to send another cab because «I played games» the other time. I told her that I didn’t play games, I had to go back in my room and get my train ticket. Before I knew it again, she hung up the phone.
The last time I checked, I had money to give to a cab driver to drive me where I needed to go. Are taxi cabs suppose to turn a customer down? If I could give a 0 star rate, I would.
