If your gonna get your pictures done by a photographer named Malaki, you might as well run to the photobooth by the play area!
We got there at 8:23 pm, Saturday night, 12÷29÷12. Their protocol was to stop taking pictures by 8 pm, even though they closed at 9 pm. I begged Malaki for our pictures to at least be taken and that we can wait for the editing+pick up tomorrow. He said no, because he had already cleaned up in the back… I was fine with that until we came in this morning at exactly 11 am, 12÷30÷12. Let me point out that, we were the first clients there as soon as the gate was pulled up…
With choosing our background, paying, and taking the damn pictures – it took a total of 10 minutes!!! 10 minutes that could’ve been taken the night before! Clean up — there was nothing to clean up after other than putting the chair away that we used, put the camera away, and pull the metal chain to put away the background! 10 MINUTES – I’m over exaggerating this time frame because it took us longer to get ready and drive there – hence that we could’ve done all of this the night before! During the photo-​shoot, he positioned us and all he did was click click click… next pose… a few clicks and done!
Out of the 8 years I’ve been taking pictures at this place, this is the worst experience I’ve had!
We got the 2 pose wallet size for 3 people, which consists my husband, my son, & myself. I remembered taking at least 4 different poses to choose from but we only took 2 – which I had no variety to choose from! I don’t know if they changed the policy but I walked away deciding one pose for all the pictures because with the 2^nd pose, everyone looked uncomfortable!
On a lighter note, I didn’t catch her name but the front desk, Hmong lady that worked the night before was courteous and Michael was a big help! I will honestly say that if it wasn’t for Michael, I would’ve waited for the manager to get my money back or at least told him how the service was by Malaki. But I do want to say thanks to Malaki, I will be investing my time and money to other places that will provide better service who will value us as customers!
