Every time I have come here, I’ve had a very good experience. Be sure to bring cash with you if you want to tip as they don’t do tip on cards. It may be a bare bones place but I’d rather have reasonable prices than fu fu decorations all over. I would go during off hours because the wait time on a Saturday morning can be pretty steep. Other than that, this place gets the job done and the ladies there always listen and are receptive to what I want done. Confidence level goes up 10 points when I leave and that’s all that matters!

This was my first time having my eyebrows threaded, but the lady that did them did a great job! I was very impressed with not only the quality of work, but also the very reasonable price! I will definitely be going back!

Good quality service with a cheap price! I’ve been a costumer here for couple of years and I am always satisfied with their eyebrow threading! For only $ 10 it’s a great deal! Look for Raj she’s very good!

For a «$» salon, I got what I expected. It’s a nice facility. The employees are welcoming. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. I’m satisfied with the hair removal. No complaints. Cash only.

Worst place ever! Went in and requested my full face be threaded. About 10 minutes later was done. Problem is when I got home and looked in the mirror, NOTHING had been removed! Eyebrows still a mess along with everything else. Money I’ll never get back and will be out more money to have it done! So not pleased! Hint, its probably the reason they dimly light the place so when you look in the mirror you cannot see they have done nothing. Ugh! Beyond disappointed. Never. Ever. Again.

Super quick service, showed up a little before opening and they were ready to go. Went in for upper lip; happy with the results and even gave me a trim for my eyebrows for free. Only ‘downside’ was my skin kept getting pinched, but other than that it was great.

This is a great place to go get threaded! The girls there are very good at what they do, and quick.

I went for the first time, and I was very pleased! The girl who helped me did an excellent job. She was thorough and really took her time. I didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes to be helped. $ 10 is a great price. I will definitely be returning!

I used get my eyebrows waxed and with one visit here they totally converted me!!! Great service and quick. Plus my eyebrows look better than they ever have before and they’re not red! I am very happy with this place! I would recommend it to anyone

I only get hair removed by threading I used 2 get waxed but waxing is too rough for my sensitive skin threading is tons better! Regardless pulling your hair out from it’s root is gonna hurt anyway u do it but threading is definitely less painful & less irritating 2 my skin. I used 2 go 2 Seva in walmart for a really long time but they always shaped my eyebrows way 2 thin even though b4 I let them touch my face I specifically tell them I like them thick!!! The lady’s here actually listen 2 u! Over @ Seva my eyes would always water from the rough way they thread but the thread here is much smoother than any thread I’ve ever had used it actually feels good because it’s so soft! And it actually pulls out hair! My first time coming here & it is definitely not my last.

My go to spot to get my eye brows threaded. They do an excellent job and like other reviewers had stated, it is quite relaxing :)

Believe it or not, your eyebrows are so essential to how you look. Don’t think so? Shave them off or get a bad brow job then get back to me. That’s why I was so sad to leave my holy grail of a threading salon behind in Sacramento when I moved to Fresno. After doing some research on Unilocal,I decided to give Patel’s a chance. It was a risk that paid off!
Patel’s Threading is a very bare bones shop. I wouldn’t even call it a salon so don’t expect the glitz and glam. Every time I’ve come here the ladies always listen to me and I leave with nice eyebrows just the way I like them. Please keep in mind that you MUST communicate with the threaders to truly get the most out of your experience. If you prefer fuller brows– tell them. If you like them a little on the thinner side– tell them. Like any beauty service industry– communication is essential.
I think the most common question people ask about threading is if it hurts. Honestly? A little. You get used to it though and if you don’t let too much time past between visits, it’s hardly noticeable. I also like how your skin isn’t red and irritated afterwards like the way it is after a wax. Along with threading (of multiple areas, not just your eyebrows) they also offer henna.
Pro-​tip: You can’t write in your tip after they charge your card so tell them how much you want to tip before they run it. Also, no appointments necessary!

This was my first eyebrow threading experience, I have always waxed. I could have laid in that chair for hours as the music and quiet atmosphere is relaxing. I had my eyebrows and upper lip done, I was thoroughly impressed with the overall job. She was quick, and it was virtually painless (if you’re used to being waxed or poked at). I will be returning to her this week and recommend this place to everyone. My cousins and I all go to Patel’s!

I have gone to Patel’s for a couple years. I have always been completely satisfied with the quality of the work from all three women that work here. They are very kind and business-​like and really care about pleasing their customers. Their prices are rea sonable and competitive. Some of the negative comments I read below make little or no sense to me. I would only tell you to try out Patel’s and I think you will agree with me.

I usually get my eyebrows waxed, but was recommended threading as waxing can lead to bumps. I went here & had Raj do my eyebrows. It was not painful at all & she did a wonderful job. my eyebrows never looked better. totally recommend this place!!!

I came here just before 5 pm on a Tuesday and they were not busy. Raj did my eyebrows and upper lip. She did a thorough job. My eyebrows are a bit thinner and more arched than I normally like but it’s nice and clean for the summer. They have a coupon on their website for free upper lip with eyebrow; so I got my eyebrows and upper lip both threaded for only $ 10! Upper lip without the coupon is $ 4.

It sucks that their first review has to be one star, but I gotta be honest about my experiences there. I had been a regular customer of Patel’s from a few months after they first open to until the spring of ’11 — weekly basis for my brows (sigh. i KNOW) & I’ve gone for a few other services I shall not mention cause I’m a ladythankyouverymuch. I’ll give a rundown of the place quickly. it’s a no frills kind of place; there can be a wait & sometimes you’re in & out, it’ just depends on your luck really, since they do not take appointments. There is a ticket number thing when you walk in; ignore it– no one uses it (i have no idea why it’s still there). There are — or were (i’ll explain later) — 3 ladies who work. Unfortunately, I do not know their names. I’ve had all 3 work on me.
The older lady who works there isnt that great. She plain out forgot areas more than once on me. And I live out of town! and i tip well. Not cool. I will sum this up to maybe her lack of experience or lack of better light in the place, im not sure. I think for the most part, if you just want your brows done, she’s alright. I guess.
The best lady — I thought her name was Roz, but honestly I have no clue– was the most experienced & had been there the longest. She was great. Friendly and she took great care in her work. I even learned her schedule & always waited for her even if there was a line for her. Then, one day, poof, bam, my girl was GONE! I told myself maybe she had taken the day off, that’s all. I go in the next time, & I over hear that she left on vacation or would be gone for a bit; i cant remember the reason given. All i remember is horror because I would have to be stuck with the other two…
Of the 3, the one I feel does the poorest job is the newbie of the place & it shows — she was really rough with me. After one too many not great experiences with her, one day I politely requested another woman (Roz, btw, who was working on a customer). I noticed her smile faded quickly… ah man i thought. Sure enough, I noticed when the few times i was forced to go to her (‘forced’ meaning i come in outta town & sometimes specifically JUST to get this done… there were times she was the only one available) she was cold to me each time after that. Ok, I can understand that fine. HOWEVER. I made sure to tip well each time, no matter who i had; threading is a personal service right? The last time I went to her — & this was this was the last straw — she was rough, not friendly, and then actually told me at one point that there was «so much hair!» all expasperated like. omg. i have to be threaded, yea its a drag, but i assure you, i am not sasquatch my friend, i am not! i should mention i went in at the end of the day, but it was packed & i was last (closing). Insult your customers AND simultaneously lower her self esteem? nice.
Apologies for the long review, but this place really just isnt that great w/​o that one lady who i think is named Roz (but I’m probably wrong about that)
