Palazzo At Campus Pointe

Looks nice when you fist move in. However this place sucks. If you get assigned a room with someone who renewed their lease, your apartment will not be tended to. There was food with mold crowding the sink, fridge, and pantry when we moved in. Also, its loud as well as piss and puke everywhere due to the parties. Staff rarely takes for ever to clean it up. Parking sucks. Staff will harass you with warnings if they speculate you’re doing something wrong. Management tries their best at trying to milk you for every penny. The only thing good was taco Tuesdays. Lastly, people who live here suck. Palazzo is infested with obnoxious, booze filled lames who are living here on daddy’s money.

I had to make an account just to complain about how AWFUL the staff is. Don’t get me wrong there are one or two nice members but the majority of them are incompetent and rude. I would like to specify that Jackie (one of the main people in charge) in particular is incredibly discourteous, inconsiderate, and barbarous. She doesn’t care about you or your situation and will never admit to her and her employees’ mistakes. Bottom line is that they have horrible customer service so when a problem arises (which it most likely will at some point) you are pretty much on your own unless you threaten to sue them. In conclusion, live here at your own risk but don’t say I didn’t warn you.

First of all it may seem like a great place and all but in reality once you move in after a week you get sick of it and realize this place is fake. Front office people could care less about you, they act all nice and smiley with you. Just horrible staff and security! The security sucks, they don’t do their job and act like they do. I called them once and they didn’t even do anything about what i called for. ITS ALL A JOKE HERE. Seems like you’re in prison here, and they don’t even match you with the right roommates! I had horrible roommates and they don’t even let you switch rooms. All people do here is smoke and party when SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED! So if you are looking for quiet nice place or parents are reading this then turn away from this place. Rates are increasing in March of 2014! Not worth your money, they don’t even have pets allowed or patios! Just for sharing a room is like $ 416 a month and a room to yourself $ 545 – 565, plus parking behind the gate is like $ 30 – 40 more and electricity is EXPENSIVE! That new campus pointe with the theater is coming soon so imagine all that traffic and people there, geez won’t be able to study or get to school faster in your car without an accident right? ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY. NO STARS FOR THIS PLACE.

The reason why I chose to palazzo is how friendly and efficient the staff is at fixing problems. The events are also cool who don’t like free food. The noise at night is a little loud, but overall the palazzo is a nice place to live.

Nice place but staff sucks! They act all nice trying to sell the apartment to you but dont care after you move in. I came in on my own looking to get matched with roommates. This made me nervous but the staff said they take their time when matching. no way. they matched me with people totally opposite of me. Luckily I got out of my lease because I complained ALOT!
Live at University Village. Its closer, staff is way nicer and its smaller so you really get to know your neighbors. Its like its own little community. Live at the UV’s

I would not recommend this place to anyone… drugs run rampant here, you are stuck with what your roommates do or don’t do. If they want the heat or air on all day you have to pay for it. No one is helpful. Its hard to break a lease with them, we tried and got reamed by them. Parents please be careful letting your kids stay there. We had so many issues with drugs and drinking. They would not do anything about it. My kids had to hide in their room, put towels by the door just so he didn’t stink going to school. Roommates had parties all the time, didn’t matter what day. They diffidently did not go by your roommate choice.

I really love living here its very nice inside and I think the apartment rooms are awesome and have everything you could need also there’s locks on every door witch is great and good for securing the room and I like how we all have are own bathrooms. The game room is fantastic plenty of fun things to do and i enjoy the work out gym room for a good work out and the great pool right outside I just hope theres usually a pool guy or whatever to clean out that pool everyday cause I keep finding all different kinds of bugs lol. I am a bit disappointed that all the beds are a bit hard and also that some nights can be crazy loud but it’s nice to have party’s but when things get out of control there needs to be some security guards everywhere just to help out. Or just have security guards all night in the hallways that would be great. But other than that I really like the fun free activities that they bring out once in a while like telling us about taco truck night or free ice cream day and T-​shirt Tuesday I think that’s really nice. Well keep up the good work palazzo I’m enjoying my stay :)

I have lived here for 2 years now, going in to my 3^rd. I moved in when everything was brand-​new. The apartments have a nice homey feel to them. I appreciate a lot of things from these apartments.
The good:
Windows: They aren’t cheap windows, they seal shut and keep cold/​hot air out.
Pool: The layout is beautiful and feels very luxurious. The shape is much nicer than the other apartments that just have a simple rectangle. The palm trees and the misters add a very nice touch of sophistication.
Two fridges: Why don’t all apartments with 4+ students offer this? genius.
Washer/​Dryer in your apartment: Super convenient. Selling point for me.
Police presence: Only student apartments that have campus police check the property every hour. I feel pretty safe, especially since Palazzo is in it’s own area rather than right next to low-​income apartments or shady streets.
Bedroom: I have a private bed/​bath with standing shower. I loooove my room. The sliding closet doors, the furniture, the full-​size bed, the sink, etc.
Kitchen: new appliances, counter top space, nice layout, pantry, and good amount of cabinet space.
The bad:
Rowdy college students: Obviously comes with any student-​living. Don’t get me wrong I like to party but I also appreciate some common courtesy from students when they stroll in at 2−3-4am but you can hear all of their drunken stories as they walk home or just smoke or drink some more at their cars. Since my bedroom window faces the gate and parking lot, I have to put up with this often. If it lasts more than 10 minutes I usually call security. Also, some drivers insist on honking their horns or blasting their music as they leave for morning classes or even return from parties. So rude and annoying but it’s something that comes with living by the parking lots and gates.
Security: I am neutral about the security Palazzo provides. They typically respond quickly, but some of them are very young and can become friends with the noisy people. I had this happen to me so I made sure to tell the security guy that I would request someone other than him next time I had a complaint. I have no shame calling security when it comes to my sleep so no one else should be hesitant to get what they want.
Staff: Some staff are very friendly and helpful. Others can be hella rude and snobby, so I am neutral about the staff.
Overall I have enjoyed my time here. it is the priciest of all the student living options in Fresno but you would never get a place of this quality for this price at any other CSU so why not splurge a little if you can manage.

Love these apartments. These seem like the only good apartments near Fresno State. love living here. I also like how nice the staff is. One thing I hate is that at night when I am asleep on Friday nights and Saturday nights. I can hear some of the residents are loud and make it hard to sleep. It seems to me that the security guards are not doing their job. I rarely see them.

Customer Service: Horrible. It is a bunch of college students working their first job and do not seem to care about any problems in the apartments, expect their own problems. I’ve asked questions during a visit in the office and was given attitude in return. Maintenance people seem like they are the only people doing their job right.
Environment: The safest student housing. You can hear upstairs neighbors stomping all the time which gets really annoying late at night. Also neighbors play loud music on a Tuesday night, and security really does nothing to stop it.
The staff just makes Palazzos so much easier to hate. They never help and seem like they always script answer for your problem and do whatever they can not to help you or charge you.

This place is beautiful. When you first see it, you are lured by all the amenities. It does have a game room, pool, racquetball, etc. In fact, you are almost certainly won over when you are taken into the model rooms. But it takes moving-​in to experience the downside of living in a complex like Palazzo. I want to be fair about this review, the employees here make a genuine effort to improve the quality of life for the tenants, but Palazzo as a whole falls bitterly short.
First, the noise level is absurd. Beyond the constant chorus of doors being slammed, people running down the halls, or the occasional yelling, the weekends erupt in a circus of loud parties and drunken students. Regardless what the Palazzo employees tell you and even show you in the lease agreements, the large student population erupts in weekend mayhem. I moved here seduced by the amenities and promises of an apartment that is student oriented. By this, I wrongly assumed quiet. This is not the case. Tenants get drunk, loud, and party all throughout the weekend.
The hallways and elevator in building A smell. You can’t get into the elevator in building A and not notice the wonderful odor of beer. The hallways do get washed now regularly, so again Palazzo makes a genuine effort to correct some issues, but with such a large and young student population it becomes incredibly difficult to manage. Then there is the pot smokers who open the doors to their apartments and let the wonderful scent of cannabis filter through the hallways.
Then there is the air conditioning. Yes, every apartment has air conditioning, but what they don’t tell you most likely because they don’t know, or more probably, because they can’t correct is the way the air conditioner distributes air. The apartment I am suffers from a wonderful occurrence. When the air conditioner is on it sends significantly more air to the living room then the bedrooms. This mean that bedrooms turn into saunas and the living area becomes a glacier. Even if you leave the door to the rooms open the air sits because of the design of the apartments.
At night you can open the single small window to your apartment and hope it isn’t too hot. But either way, you will get to enjoy the wonderful sound of several air-​conditioning units outside your window. Opening the window of the apartment equates to revving a 57 Chevy, so I do not recommend that if you like sleeping.
Finally, the occasional arguments at the pool provided by the student population offer the piece-​de-​résistance. Palazzo has a large football and athlete population, which translates to a large population of bulky, loud, and testosterone filled boys eager to start fights. Since, I have been here– about 21 days I have seen two fights and about as many screaming matches. So come on down and try out Palazzo, if you do not like it just move. Oh wait, you can’t move, you are under a 10 or 12 month lease.
