Buyers beware!!! Not only are the salesman pushy they are liars! I recently went in to buy a truck and the salesman told me I had very poor credit and made me feel like he was doing me a favor by selling me this Tahoe! So I bought the truck and a few months later the truck starts to break down and when I called and spoke to someone they said oh well mam you bought it as is and they again made it seem like they were doing me a favor by giving me a mechanics number! The worst part is after doing some research I actually have good credit but now I’m stuck with a broken Tahoe at an 11+ interest rate! I guess that’s what I get for going to a place with a ton of men standing under a canopy waiting to steal my hard earned money! Be careful your better off going to a dealership to purchase a car believe me you’ll get something way better for your money!!!

Came here to test drive a juke, it was cute. But they had to jump start it. The spare tire in the back was missing. Oh and we attempted to test drive it, but had to make a u-​turn a block down Bullard because the car had no gas. Smh silly people. 3 stars for the sales man doing a great job at trying to hypnotize us into buying a car and trying really hard to not let us escape out the facility doors.

OWN A CAR, has the largest used car inventory!!! I drive by and always see the most customized cars and trucks! I dont know of another place that will let you customize your truck, they will add off road tires, running boards etc.

The people here are rude and snobbish. Their employees just sit under a canopy and make faces as you walk up. Their adds online are lies. We want there because they often advertise 4 door trucks as low as 17k we get there and they laugh, literally, and say there is no way a four door truck would be less 24k. They didn’t help us find something even close to what we were looking for. When we were leaving the guy was like «just finance, it’s not about how much the truck cost but how much the payments are. After all you guys will probably want to trade in your car before you finish paying it off anyway. No one drives a car for more 3 years before they get a new one.» Wtf. I think that was just disgusting. I would never go here again. Their office stinks like wet carpet.

Came in today to see what their specials are all about. I found a 8 guys standing underneath a canopy that were heckling cars as they drove by. I walked up and asked about a SUV and three of them started arguing about who was going to talk to me. Finally one of the bigger ones who is very rude said how much can you afford?
I told them that they looked like children playing under the canopy making fun of people as they drove by and he told me if I didn’t like it I could leave so I did. Stay away from this place to spend more money on commercials then they do salesman protocol. If I could give them a negative 10 I would.

Want to make car buying as mystic a process as possible? Why not start off by refusing to put a single sign on any of your cars listing prices or mileage? They force you to talk to a salesperson to get the most basic of information that should be available without prompting. This does not speak well to the management style which does not allow for those potential buyers that prefer to browse on their own for a while before inquiring more. Needless to say, we left before even talking to anyone, as withholding data was a huge turnoff.

Do not ever… EVER… buy anything from this, or any Own-​a-​Car lot. I will keep this as concise as possible. The first car we bought through OAC had the check engine light come on less than 2 weeks after purchase. We decided to trade it in, and they took it (after breaking the moonroof during their inspection) — and we drove off with our new SUV. They called SEVERAL days later (after i replaced the battery which had a bad cell and payed $ 300 to add it to my insurance) to «finish some paperwork». They didn’t want to finish anything. They wanted more $$$ down. They called my pregnant wife at work to hassle her about coming in «when it was more convenient» for them. This is disgusting. They are disgusting. I would never wish my worst enemy to buy from here. They are horrible, despicable human beings.
After consulting with a lawyer, we returned the car tonight. The «10-​day Seller’s Right to Cancel» means nothing. On the 12th day, they requested the car. We had to take time off of work and go back to the insurance company, back to the bank to cash their refund check (because they cashed our down payment check, of course — which they made US bring a copy of to prove), and we are NOT getting paid a dime for our time. I hate Own a Car Fresno with the greatest passion I could ever hate anything on this Earth. Own a Car Fresno, I hope you all burn in the most scorching and eternal of all Hells. BUYER BEWARE.
