We are proud to say we cook home cooked tasting food. Biscuits and gravy and soups are made fresh. We only use fresh hamburger meat for our burgers and ingredients are fresh too. We have GLUTEN FREE! Options in our menu. We sell sweet rolls and desserts that are made from scratch. they scream TRY ME!

Coffee is French roast or Italian roast made from Clayton in Modesto ca. Since 1988. Come and try a French press cup of coffee and taste the European way.

Big sellers for breakfast: Applewood Bacon&eggs, Chicken fried steak&eggs, our omelets, breakfast burrito!, 222 Breakfast, waffle supreme, French toast supreme. For lunch: California burger, Ortega burger, Mushroom burger, BMD, Mexi-​Club, BLAT.

Established in 2012.

This is our 4th restaurant. We owned 3 others in 1991 – 1996. We sold them because the owner went into law enforcement. He just retired.

Manna Café is honestly one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the decoration on the walls are adorable. The seating is comfortable and inviting, and the staff are amazing. This is literally the best service I have ever experience. And if that wasn’t enough to have you wanting to come back every day, the food is delicious. Every single time I have eaten there, it’s been amazing. I have never been dissatisfied eating there, and the food even does well the next day! So you can take home leftovers confidently. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for good food and friendly service. If I could give it 10 stars out of 5, I would in a heartbeat.

My husband and our kids love coming here after church; it’s a very cozy place to eat a delicious breakfast. I love their biscuits and gravy along with the traditional hash browns, sausage and eggs. Reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly and the owners as well. We’ll be back very soon!

I had a truly EXCELLENT hamburger here; it was like eating an old-​fashioned hamburger. Hmmm… It was so good! Enjoyed some sweet potato fries with a sauce that I believe was their Tapatio Sauce… It had a kick, but an addictive one. The environment was comfortable. My absolutely HUGE jug of iced tea was cold and kept full. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience that I would recommend and do again.

Good menu foundation. Food tastes fresh and prepared to order. The need for improvement lies in the house coffee. It’s bland and watered-​down flavor does not compliment their good food. I had the chile rellenos breakfast. I’ve never had them prepared their way but it was good. The ranchera sauce was cold so to pour it over my hot rellenos seemed counter intuitive. Hot ranchera sauce please.

Great family owned and run café, my breakfast was excellent. They are friendly and Christian values are apparent. Every time I have been in the place is busy, it just feels good to be there. Seems to be a regular crowd, people seem to know each other.
You should go and enjoy this experience.

So glad we found this on Unilocal for Sunday breakfast. We stopped at a first restaurant knowing our mid morning Sunday breakfast would be on hold since there were 12 of us. When we heard 90 minutes, we went back to Unilocal and noticed Manna Café only 2 miles away. Calling first, we asked if the wait would be over an hour. They laughed and said NO. We were seated as soon as we arrived. The café was continuously full, but never a long wait.
Breakfast was amazing. I had the French toast that came with 2 eggs and bacon. What do they do to that bacon? It was so good. Everyone who ordered it stopped and made a joyful noise after the first bite.
Manna offers traditional breakfast done right. I even ordered a biscuit and gravy after my meal came realizing I was missing something special.
Wish we had one of these in OC, but will tell all my Fresno friends to stop by.

The only reason this place might deserve more than 2 stars is because they make a great effort to accommodate gluten free customers.
Let’s start with an eggs benedict that has that canned taste, topped with cheese (an effort to disguise the hollandaise sauce, perhaps). All around sloppy effort. To boot — I’m a vegetarian, so can I substitute the meat for spinach? Little did I know that NOT getting meat and getting 2 leaves of spinach costs an extra buck. The manager was not interested in taking off that $ 1, either. Cool.
The gluten free biscuits and gravy consumed by my friend was bland and, as she described, tasted like cream of mushroom.
The place seemed promising, but my disappointment in it has brought me back to Unilocaling after a year+ hiatus, brought on by nothing but lack of enthusiasm. I definitely have enthusiastic disappointment in this place. Enjoy.

Cute little café! Serves large portions and the food was really good. It’s nice to see places like this in Fresno (not chain restaurants). I got the bacon, eggs and potatoes and they were great! Reasonably priced and you don’t have to get super dressed up! ;) I had to edit this because they have coffee and special coffee drinks as well. And lots of gluten free options!

Thee place to go for breakfast. I had a delicious breakfast with great service. The people here love their business and their job. Exactly everything I look forward to when I dine out. Great food, great price and wonderful service. So much food for the price we paid, can’t wait to go back.
