VERY Clean, GOT Air CONDITIONER blowing. No working a sweat when you trying fold clothes. Shoved about 5 comforters in one mammoth load. Cant complain. Yep I recommend this place.

God dammit, Mammoth! I tried to love you but you won’t let me. You are so close and so clean. Three dryers wouldn’t work and the sensitivity of your card swiping machines is comparable to a PTSD soldier, so delicate. I would say your PTSD is definitely underserved and unwarranted, but who am I but a desperate patron eager to wash their delicates. Why won’t you fire the grumpy employee who haunts the aisles like a poltergeist throwing rolling baskets around like Carolanne.

We recently moved to the city and are in an apartment complex with washers & dryers on site, but after having almost all of our clothing stolen, we went looking for another laundromat!
We were pleasantly surprised at the spacious place, the lady that helped us was so sweet and answered all of oir questions in a professional.manner. This location is affordable, clean, has cartoons for the kids, or the football game during playoffs, plus snacks for the kids.
So if you’re looking for a clean place, and rapid process, come to this place.

My washer broke so I had to find a laundry mat place to catch up on laundry. I read the Unilocal reviews, so I decided to try Mammoth out. The parking lot was full, so I was prepared to come back later in the day, but luckily I ran inside to check. They had a whole slew of washers open. I had five loads and washed and dried all in about 90 minutes. Super clean, staff was very helpful. I had no problem finding an open washer and dryer. There were several open. I ended up buying a new washer, but I will definitely remember this place in the future and would highly recommend to anyone.

The latch on my washer broke and I find myself having to come to the laundromat, I’m glad I did a bit of research first! This place is a little more pricey, but you get what you pay for. Very clean!!! And I love that I don’t have to lug around a bunch of change. The staff is very friendly as well and always around cleaning up.

I just returned from a 3 week trip and had lots of laundry to do. When that happens, I always go to Mammoth here in Fresno. It’s always impeccably clean and there are lots of washing machines of different sizes and dryers. Also, they went to a card payment system so bye-​bye to hunting for quarters!
I also bring large items like bedspreads and sleeping bags here.
The washing machines are front — loaders, but they work much better than the front-​loaders big box stores sell to consumers. These machines clean everything!
I first came here in 2000 and I wash things here about 3 or 4 times a year.
Even on busy days like weekends, you can always find a washer and dryer.
This is the go-​to Laundromat in Fresno!

Came here because of the great reviews me and my husband read here on Unilocal.Overall our experience was great. Machines worked well and they have small, medium, and large washers which was wonderful. Prices are reasonable and yes we will definitely return. Its way better than our apt complex laundry facility.

Place converted to using a card system instead of coins. Hey, why not pass on the additional costs to the customers? It’s more expensive now, slightly convenient because their machines had difficulty accepting quarters in the first place. Place a quarter in, quarter comes out. You have to master a certain technique to insert the quarter. However, the coins are long gone and now you have to have an additional plastic added into your wallet. Not only that, with the expenses I don’t think I will be back again. Oh, these cards are nonrefundable, so if you have money in it I suggest you use up as much as possible because their prices aren’t the pretty 50cent increments anymore. It’s like $ 3.55 or something like that. So if you are looking to just spend a certain amount without leftovers in your card, the employees got one thing to say to you, «too bad, no refunds». You are stuck with the card and the amount in there. And this card isn’t like a prepaid visa cc either, you can only use it at this place. I guess they want to keep their customers by keeping their money in the card so they can come back to these expensive washes. Well, I’m taking my loss and throw whatever amount in it in the trash. My sister, also complained about the price here and she found a cheaper, same quality wash place down the street.

Need a fantastic, cleaner and better laundromat, then you’ve ever been to? Mammoth laundromat is where you need to be. While traveling through Fresno late one night, my wife and I needed to do laundry. We found this gem of a laundromat, very clean, excellent attendant, and catering to the customer. If you’re in Fresno and want a fantastic laundry experience, this is where you want to be!

As most women can attest to, there’s something about laundromats that puts men under the impression that they are God’s gift to creation. The low lighting, one dollar bills and underpants cycling in rows somehow makes them think it’s okay to walk up and say, «So…you come here often?».It can be so weird that you contemplate just turning your panties inside out to prolong the need to venture into such an establishment.
That being said, I’m pretty impressed with Mammoth, in terms of cleanliness, safety and operation of machines. There is always a staff member either out doing laundry (for their wash and fold service) or behind the counter. When I had a problem with a dryer, the employee asked me if I needed help before I even turned around.
They have an ATM available at the counter, so you don’t have to stop somewhere and get cash. The parking lot is well-​lit at night, which is super important, since the only thing worse than a man who asks for your name and number is one who doesn’t bother (if you get my drift).
The cost for washers are:
$ 2.75 for small
$ 4.25 for medium (two loads)
$ 5.50 for large (three loads)
Dryers are .25 for a certain number of minutes:
Medium = 6 minutes
Large = 5 minutes
Mammoth = 4 minutes
When I went, my dryer was broken, so I washed at home and then brought my wet clothes in to dry them, so I can’t speak about the quality of the washing machines. The dryers worked great though. I split them into reasonable sized loads, used 4 Large dryers and was out of there (including taking time to fold everything) in 40 minutes.
If you’re short on time but have the money, they offer a wash & fold service. $ 1.25 a pound, unless the majority is kid’s clothing, and then they charge $ 1.50 a pound.
Floor is clean, they have vending machines (though they weren’t fully stocked and had limited choices) and there wasn’t any funky «greasy pinball machine/​bowling alley/​ashtray» smell. This is where I’ll be returning if the need arises in the future.

I have used the wash and fold service every other week at this laundromat for the last year and a half with excellent results. I just showed up on sunday (as I usually do) and was told that they no longer do wash and fold on sundays. Thats a problem for me as I fly out every sunday night and need my clothes. I was not told any thing about this the previous sunday I had dropped off my order. When asked why they no longer do wash and fold on sundays, I was told that they have ‘new employees’ and are ‘too busy’. Really? When a business is too busy, your solution is to no longer offer the service? Wow. I will never be back

Mammoth Laundromat: Very clean, friendly attendant, well lit (for my daytime visit) and creative in how they signed their walls. Impressed! Artfully designed.
I would have given 5 stars, except for the cost. A lot higher than I’ve ever paid… But worth the nice environment.
They also have wifi (ask attendant for the code) and large screen tv for kids to watch.

Very civilized for a laundromat! Air conditioned, clean, not creepy, not smelly. When one of the washers stopped crediting our coins the staff on duty was available to get the machine working. A nice BIG space with lots of machines available. Prices did seem a bit high, but then I haven’t been to a laundromat in a while.

Washer broke and so we washed here. Most other places seem shady and creepy but this laundromat was clean and well lit. Lots of washers in different sizes but the price was a tad higher than I expected. But I’d rather pay a premium and get great service than a shiv in my thigh at a dark dirty laundromat.
I also like that there is always an employee around and available to help rather than being locked away in a back room.

Twice the price of other Fresno laundromats, but ten times cleaner. I’d rather pay the premium for clean! It is wierdly dimly lit, but did i say clean?! They also have a tv area which would be good for kids.

This place was very clean and straightforward. It was not very well-​lit, about ¹⁄₃ of the overhead lights weren’t working, but really, it’s a laundromat. It didn’t smell funny and the machines worked, so it gets a 5!

Lots of washers and dryers. several different sizes of washers and dryers. There is a service that will clean your clothes for you and fold them as well. waiting area with vending machines, seats and a flat screen television.
