LKQ Specialized Parts – Fresno

If u need a part for your car do not go to that place ! They told me my part would be there in 2 days and a week later still wasn’t there and when they did finally get it they couldn’t find it and it took me 3 days to finally get my money back ! Do not recommend this place at all yo anyone !

This has been the worst customer service ever recieved from a business. I would not reccomend EVER doing business with them. Trying to get an engine for our daughter’s Jeep Wrangler has been an almost 3 week nightmare and I do not see getting it anytime soon. IMHO everyone my husband has dealt with is a liar and incompetent.
Here is the list:
1. The price of the engine changed 3 times in less than a week.
2. 8÷28÷15 My husband called to find out what needed to be done to get the engine ordered and he was told as soon as he could come pay for it they would order it. A friend did us a favor and drove to Fresno to pay for it so my husband didn’t have to take any time off work. After he got there he was told the engine would not be ordered unless the core was there or we paid the core charge. So there was a wasted 3 days there until my husband could get the core up to Fresno.
3. 8÷31÷15 The engine was paid for and the core turned in. We were told the engine would be there on 9÷4÷15. When my husband called on the 4^th to see if the engine was in yet he was told the VIN number was not correct for the engine so it hadn’t even been shipped yet. No call was made to him in the 5 days that the engine had been paid for. The VIN they had was for an 88 Jeep Cherokee. I don’t even know where they got that from because they were given the VIN directly off our CA registration for a 2000 JEEP WRANGLER.
4. 9÷4÷15 My husband was told that a «rush» would be put on the engine and it would be here on 9÷11÷15. He was told it was too late in the day and since Monday was a holiday nothing could be done until Tuesday. He was also told by who ever he talked to «I wish you hadn’t brought the core in until the engine was here.» This was after someone had refused to order the engine until we paid the core charge or brought the core in.
5. 09÷11÷15 Since my husband was told shipments came in at 11 am he waited until noon to call to confirm the engine was there before driving to Fresno. The engine had not came in! He was told they would track the shipment, find out where it was and call him back. He hadn’t heard back from anyone at 3 pm, he drove to Fresno to find out what was going on. When he got there NOTHING had been done and he was told it was too late in the day. He was promissed a call back tomorrow but was told they do not get deliveries on Saturday so it would be next week before they would get it.
6. 9÷12÷15 NO CALL today as to where our engine is and when it is expected in.
As you can see this has been a nightmare. Thank you LKQ for royally screwing us over!!! I will update this review if and when there is ever a resolution.

Worst customer service and worst company I ever dealt with.
For almost two weeks the people from LKQ have given me the runaround for a transmission I purchased for my Honda Civic and everything turned sour since I handed them my hard earned money.
Everything was smiles and handshakes until I received my transmission to my mechanic. The whole transmission was a disaster and did not work, not to mention I paid $ 1375 total for it. My mechanic did his job and he’s known to be the best transmission specialist for decades, and he told me the transmission LKQ given was no good and shot.
From the get-​go a LKQ associate by the name of Chris gave me so much bad customer service and attitude is not funny. I don’t think cussing and saying, «bro» every 2 – 3 seconds is professional. Finally I got to talk to a supervisor by the name of Sal who was more pleasing to talk but did not help or was useful.
I had to wait three days to finally talk to the manager by the name of John who was supposedly trying to help but knew how to scam his way around and make it seem like he was helping but in reality he was trying to squeeze out another $ 400 dollars from me for a, «extended warranty».
Long story short is I received an overpriced transmission that did not work, paid $ 1375 for it. All LKQ offered was a older, more mileage transmission for the same price which is crime itself. Now I got to pay my mechanic twice for the labor which LKQ is not liable (never mentioned when I purchased it) overall I got screwed hard. Not once, not twice but three times.
Overall I got a bad experience and hopefully no one goes through what I went and to be careful out there. Absolutely no star shall be given and I will go to corporate with this.
