Michael Hayashi OD, F.A.A. O.

Business Owner

Dr. Michael Hayashi is a native Fresnan who graduated from California State University Fresno with honors and went on to receive his Doctor of Optometry from the University of California Berkeley in 1980. He was also an Associate Clinical Instructor at the University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry. He opened a private practice in 1980.

He has served as a California State Board Optometric Licensing Examiner, and is a Member of the American Optometric Association and AOA Contact Lens Section. He has been accepted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO) which means they are recognized by their colleagues as dedicated to the highest standards of optometric practice through clinical care, education or research. In addition he has participated in several national contact lens clinical investigations and published one of the first disposable soft contact lens study. He is on the cutting edge of the most advanced contact lenses and «hard to fit» cases. He
