Business Owner

Dr. J. Carlos Mendoza has been in the field of dentistry for over 10 years, including 6 years practicing in Central California. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science (2004) and received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from one of America’s most distinguished dental schools, the University of California at Los Angeles (2009). At the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Mendoza received the prestigious National Health Service Corps.

Dr. Mendoza, is dedicated to educating, treating, and maintaining his patients’ optimal oral health in a manner consistent with his education at UCLA School of Dentistry, which focused on «putting the patient first».

During his leisure time Dr. Mendoza enjoys training for and competing in triathlons, playing soccer, and learning new languages.

Once again, Dr. Mendoza exceeded my expectations. I came in again for a cleaning 12⁄2015 & he went back over areas to be sure that he had gotten difficult stains out. He again commended me that I didn’t have any plaque & that I could probably come in every 6 months if I wanted. How many dentists tell you that you need less of them?! How honest. He also mentioned an in-​house procedure for whitening teeth, but also told me where to buy gel for the mouth trays that my great L.A. dentist made for me years ago. He doesn’t sell them, but directed me. A dentist that doesn’t try to make extra money off his patient: in a class by himself. Wait: there’s more. Because I had another appt, I had to leave without asking him about the in-​house bleaching. I called later, spoke to him, & he spent all this time explaining to me the difference between the bleaching trays & his in-​house procedure & how it worked. Really, he is old school dentistry: a total blessing in this modern day world of jamming too many patients into a too long day. Check him out: you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend this office! Dr. Mendoza has stellar training from one of the best dental schools in California and he is very friendly. His office is beautifully designed and his staff is warm and welcoming. I usually dread going to the dentist, but Dr. Mendoza and his staff make going to the dentist a pleasant experience.

I had come in to my appointment for a cleaning and a consult. I would like to share my experience… It was a wonderful visit, and great service I left feeling my teeth super clean with no discomfort. In my experience I would always have sore gums after cleanings at other dentist, well that was not the case at iTooth. I would recommend iTooth to anyone and everyone! I would highly recommend Dr. Mendoza! He and his staff at iTooth made me feel so at ease and quite comfortable in their massage chairs. They take the time to explain everything. Currently doing my Invisalign and happy with the results already! Loved that I was able to see the «end result» digitally. Motivates me to actually wear the retainers :). Great personal attention, clean modern space and competitive prices! Doesn’t get better than that! I have found my new dentist!

I’d like to add my thanks & sincere appreciation for the great care I received from Dr. Mendoza & staff at iTooth Dentistry; I’m a helicopter pilot from Florida, assigned to a local fire. The morning that I arrived on the fire, I broke a tooth &, of course, didn’t know a local Dentist; after a quick internet search, I discovered iTooth Dentistry with great Unilocal reviews. Dr. Mendoza & staff were wonderful in every way! Dr. Mendoza & staff worked with my schedule to get me diagnosed, treated, & back to work; they went out of their way to make a bad dental situation manageable. I highly recommend iTooth Dentistry!

So… I have not been to the dentist in over 10 years (bad, I know). I desperately needed a check up and cleaning. I found out about iTooth Dentistry on Unilocal.Normally, I do not trust Unilocal reviews. However, when I called to ask some questions, the receptionist was very nice and accommodating. I was able to schedule an appointment the next day (today) and I loved the entire experience. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Mendoza was the best! He made an effort to get to know me, and he made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. I have found my new dentist!

On a Saturday, Dr. Mendoza himself answered my call. His office was the only one that accommodated us in such short notice after all local offices were unresponsive. Because I spoke to the doctor himself, he made us feel comfortable to make the hour drive to see him (even though we were desperate ourselves). Aside of him seeing my husband on the same day of the weekend call, he was extremely reasonable with costs after not having insurance! Because of his great work and sincerity, we will continue seeing this doctor for our future visits. He also has a new patient special that we took advantage of that consists of consultation and x-​rays. Very affordable.

After being with the same dentist for over 10 years, we were tired of driving to madera for every visit even though we were happy with her. so when my husband and I decided to finally change our dentist to someone here in fresno, it was a big step because we only trusted our previous dentist but Dr. Mendoza has made the transition extremely easy. He’s very knowledgeable and takes his time to really explain what and why any procedure needs to be done. We highly recommend him to all our family and friends.

Dr. Mendoza makes going to the dentist enjoyable. The facility is centrally located and absolutely beautiful. The staff is welcoming and extremely knowledgable regarding insurance and procedures. I’ve had multiple procedures done at iTooth dentistry and I am completely satisfied with all of them. Dr. Mendoza is very kind and informative when it comes to treating his patients. He explained everything to me before starting any procedure and I really appreciated that. His staff are all really nice and attentive and they make you feel right at home. I will not be switching dentist any time soon! iTooth is a great place for new patients or even patients looking for a better dental experience. This office will not disappoint you, plus they have really good hours available even for those who work kind of late.
PS the office is really clean and modern, definitely makes you feel good about the services you’re about to get lol

I went into iTooth for a routine teeth cleaning and I was very satisfied with the results. Not only did my teeth feel clean, but the staff and Dr. Mendoza were very courteous and made me feel very comfortable. The teeth cleaning was thorough and performed in a timely manner. I was in and out before I knew it. The office is clean and neat and the customer service is great. I will definitely be recommending iTooth to my friends and family!

I just had an appointment for a check up of my teeth. The Doctor was very professional and did careful examination of my teeth. As soon as I walked through the doors of iTooth Dentistry, I was immediately greeted by the friendly and attentive office staff with no wait. And when I finished filling out my paperwork, Dr. Mendoza was ready to see me for my exam. Wow! What great customer service I thought! His dental assistant did my X-​rays. She was super sweet and did the X-​rays as quickly as she could. I don’t know about you, but those always seem to take soooooo long. Dr. Mendoza does his teeth cleanings himself. As a person with some anxiety about seeing a dentist, he really put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. He was gentle yet very thorough. He answered all my questions and concerns about my oral health care. Thank you Dr. Mendoza. I will be returning!
Sidenote: $ 99 teeth cleaning and exam special. What a deal!
