One star because of remodeled. Other than that, I come here back and forth because stupid DMV people don’t know how to provide service, slow and rude and don’t know how to get their sh*t together. Even with appointment you have to wait one hour to get help. They are uneducated and needs to work at McDonald’s.

We there last week to reregister my car. Made an appointment and was taken care in a little less then two minutes. Like the new building and updated parking!

I made an appointment online for my day to renew my license. The only appointment they had for that specific day was at this DMV… I was hesitant to make it for this location because the last time I had gone to this one I had a very bad experience and it was, for lack of better words, was extremely ghetto. When I arrived I was shocked to see that it had been remodeled! It looked very nice and clean. I had my appointment at 9:15. I checked in, filled out paper work and was called up about fifteen minutes later! They had me in and out before 10AM and everyone was very helpful!

If I could give no stars I probably would. This place is a chump. All the workers are rude and unhelpful. The wait time I had was told to be 30 minutes and it was over an hour. The information desk workers seem to be very unhelpful in every way. Not giving you information that is needed. And the main desk workers are lazy and very rude. Next, the old lady who is working for renew on photos is very impolite and will not care if you are ready for your picture. Highly do not recommend this Fresno dmv. Wait time is unnecessary. Workers are rude and impolite. And this place needs people who are willing to help the community nicely.

took my behind the wheel test, everyone was friendly especially the instructor I had, Kong. Other than that there was this one security guard idk his name but he is so rude, bigass ego, and just discriminative. When I took my permit there, there was this Mexican man, who didn’t know English that well and when he completed his written test he didn’t know what to do so he asked the same security guy for help, who obviously spoke Spanish as well, but spoke rudely almost shouting, «WHERE ARE YOUR PAPERS? yoUR PERMIT. THE ONE THE LADY GAVE YOU.» just plain rude, speaking in a tone as if the Mexican man didn’t understand him.
THEN, day of my test my dad parked in the wrong lane for testing and he asked whose car it belonged to, note that he has a slight accent. my dad then told him it was ours and he asked my dad, «ARE YOU GETTING yoUR caR inSPECTED? my dad not hearing the question answers, «yes». he then asked again, «REALLY? sO YOURE GETTING IT CHECKED?» then asked me for my driving test papers I was holding, I gave it to him and told him I was testing, he answered nicely to me, informing me as if I didn’t learn that it was the wrong lane when he rudely spoke to my dad. explaining eACH FUCKING detail, but nicely because I don’t have a fucking accent. (: I hope he gets fired, or become a nicer person because he is a dick.

The new remodeled DMV is definitely more efficient than ever! all the lines moved fast and I was seen within 20 minutes. Terrible parking lot!!! Took 10 – 15 minutes for an available parking to open up in the private parking lot. Also had to battle with others looking for a parking spot! Horrible horrible parking!!!

I made an appointment and all-​in-​all it was the shortest appointment of my life! Now that the DMV remodeling is complete, everything looks brand new and nice inside. I got there early at around 8:30am. I waited in a line outside for 10 minutes and waited inside for only 5 minutes for my name to be called at the window. It was because I was there early, but everything was a good experience for me. I brought a book with me just in case and only had time to read one page.

This dmv got remodelled not that long ago and I have to say I feel like if I were at the airport! It’s so nice and clean. I really hope it stays like this for a long time.
The waiting line was fast and they opened right at 8 o’clock in the morning, which is greatly appreciated from those whom take some time off to come pay their dues.
I was literally done renewing my vehicle registration within 7 minutes!
Also, their customer service is awesome.

hate this place now. The lady at desk 15 was so rude ! I went up with my boyfriend and he handed her my papers and she said are the papers his or mines, and he said it was mines. She then yelled at us along with so much attitude and said that if the papers belong to me then I should hand it. She specifically said «do you not speak English ?!» Then I tried so hard not to talk back and curse at her and just because I’m Asian does not mean I do not know how to speak English! how rude can she get. I was so mad I just left. Waited sooooo long in the line just to deal with this human. not worth it

The parking lot is a nightmare and the customer service is a disaster. Make an appointment and still end up waiting. The rep who assisted me today had an attitude — rolled her neck and waved her finger the entire time. Keep it classy, girlfriend.

The DMV is newly rebuilt and looks amazing! Also the service is faster, in my opinion, I went to get new liscense plates because my old ones were stolen and got help asap even after the number wait. It’s a much better experience!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful. This place is always packed full, so dont come to this location without an appointment!!!

This place is great! Super fast and friendly staff. Always make an appointment beforehand online a day or two before. Takes me less then 30 mins everytime! I’ve gone here about 7 times and never had a bad experience.

This place scares me. My husband is leaving for the army soon and he needed to get his licensed renewed before going to basic.
I don’t go to DMV without making an appointment first. If you plan on going to this DMV, either go elsewhere, or don’t bother.
The line was out the door for non-​appointments. This is FRESNO people. It gets way to hot here to be standing in a line that just doesn’t move!
We went into the appointment line, we were the only ones. He got helped in a short minute, did the eye test, paid, went to another window to get his picture taken, and we were out in five minutes.
When we left, the line outside was in the same spot. Don’t torture yourself, make an appointment.

Don’t even think about coming to this location if you don’t have an appointment! I come here all the time for work, and I can’t tell you how many times I have seen the line literally wrap around the ENTIRE building. The computer system that draws the window numbers also seems to be down an awful lot, as it was this morning when I was there, which causes things to go so much slower. One time I went and their computers were down, and wouldn’t honor the appointment I had made. At first they argued that I would have to call in again to make a new appointment, but since I had things that would be overdue if I went that route, I had to stand my ground and basically force them to give me a new appointment on the spot.
The staff is generally pretty friendly, I think DMV workers get a bum wrap because they deal with some truly awful people, and it wears them down. I know if I had to deal with some of the stuff that I have seen go on here, it wouldn’t be long before I became dispirited as well.
There is one recent change though that I don’t like, and that will only effect a small amount of people reading this though. If you work for a car dealer or a company that has a large private fleet, they used to have a special room in the back where they had staffed with people who only did those types of transactions, since they differ from the transactions that an individual would come in and do. They have now done away with that office, and you have to check in for your appointment and pull a window ticket, and wait longer than you used to. I realize there are budget cuts and things like that, but it really sucks when you go there for business and you just want to get in and out.
