Econo Lube N Tune No 82

We are new to the area and needed an oil change really badly. I drive by and found this place. I was really happy with the service I received but mostly happy with the way I was treated. I have had many negative experiences with men and being treated like an idiot at auto places. This was not the case here at all. I also witnessed several interactions with other people, no pressure honest information about their vehicles and in my opinion not trying to rip anyone off. I will definitely be returning here for all of our services.

I went here because I had a coupon for a 19.99 oil change. When I got there the guy behind the counter, i think he’s the owner, said he wouldn’t honor it and would only do it for 25.99. Since I didn’t have time to run around town to save $ 6 i said to go ahead and do it. The package did include a tire rotation and they did that. Besides raising the price when I was already there, the owner was real short with me and every other customer-​not very friendly. The employees moved slow as they worked and were even shorter with me when they came to ask a question. After 2 hours I was finally out of there. I will not be going back.

My regular readers (both of them!) know that Evil has no automotive repair skills, whatsoever.
I can build things out of wood and metal… but if it’s auto related, I just don’t have the skills.
Naturally, the day before having to go out of town to an evil meeting, I found the brake light on the dash of the evilmobile blinking at me.
My normal repair shop was too busy to get the job done in a single day, so I rolled into this establishment, which now included Meineke Brake repair.
On the plus side, they did get the job done that day. It was way more money than I thought it would be, but Evil was desperate.
Also, it’s been two weeks and my brakes make a squealing noise. I took it back to the shop… and they claim they don’t hear the noise.
Minions, take this Evil advice… get your brake work done elsewhere.
