Crown Point and Cascades

I would have to agree with the bad rating posts on here for the Cascade Apartments. I am in a first floor 1 bedroom and the people above me are EXTREMELY loud. The couple above have a baby that cries at all hours of the night and they feel the need to leave their windows open for everyone to hear. I went to management to see what the best way to handle the situation is and they said they complained about me! I am on the first floor… that is ridiculous. Anyways, they said it would be fine to talk to them to resolve it on my own if I’d like. Well, I tried that and they not only didn’t speak great English, but they accused me of harassing their friends (maintenance questioned their friends according to management), stated that I have other people living with me (which is not true but is allowed… they have 3 individuals in their 1 bedroom unit), admitted to looking through my windows to see where I sleep, made multiple racist remarks, and stated the noise I was hearing was the «baby crawling.» Must be a 100 lb baby…
An individual in the main office told me to describe this encounter in an email to upper management via email to see what can be done… it’s been a month and no response… what a surprise!
Although this is probably not a common situation (unreasonable/​disrespectful tenets), I have talked to other tenets, security, and maintenance who have all stated that these apartments were not built with cement between the two floors. Therefore you will hear EVERYTHING above if you are on the first floor. BUT if you move to the second floor, you will get complaints from the tenets below you and pay a very high utility bill.
Besides the poor management and tenet situations, the actual apartment itself is not ideal for such a great location. You cannot take a hot shower while the heater is on and your apartment will smell like smoke if anyone smokes near your unit (lucky me!). Management stated they cannot legally tell someone to stop smoking and there is no way to stop it going through the vents… so I am out of luck and just get to smell second hand smoke!
Hope this review gets out to everyone because there are much better apartments in the area!!! (Le Provence, Cotswolds, Boulder Creek, etc.)

Seriously look at other options before you rent here. Besides the location and neighborhood I really have nothing good to say about the place. The apt and appliances are all really old and need serious updates. Water will leak from multiple places and it takes multiple calls to get someone to come take a look, even then they will deny that there is a problem (because the fix will involve replacing the entire appliance or fixture). I cannot take a hot shower while the heater is on, etc. They have the most draconian rules for late rent I’ve ever encountered, simply to punish the tenants. It’s ¼, the Monday just after the new years weekend when their office was closed. I try to go pay the rent today and they inform me that after the 3^rd of the month only money order or cashier’s check is accepted, oh and don’t forget the $ 50 late fee. I can look past the fact that they’re not giving their tenants a break over new years because the 1^st was not a business day, I can look past the late fee, but the fact that a day earlier they will accept online payment and personal check and magically a day later neither is accepted simply shows ill will and a punitive spirit. They don’t care about their tenants and it’s all about the money.

The place is five stars to me i was there and i love, unfortunly have to come back to Anaheim but i will live there in future again my dog it was very happy too excellent for pet frendly place.

I wish I could take my apartment back to San Francisco. The location, space, community, was great. I rented out a one bedroom apartment, walking closet, nice big living room, washer and dryer in unit. Near shopping, and restaurants. The staff is great, if you need something fixed, they do it within 24 hours. They make sure that the residents are happy, and have a parties a few times a year for them. Always quite and never had an issue with noise, parking is a little bit of an issue with some residents not parking their cars in their garages taking visitor parking, so visitors have to park somewhere else. Never used the tennis court, but I did use the pool and gym. And you can pay your rent online, which makes it convenient. 2 years of happiness, really miss it.

Awesome place to live! I loved it here. It was such a nice, quiet, safe community. The area is the best in fresno and everything is near. The apartments are a little small for the rent price you pay. It’s actually expensive. But I did enjoy living here. Beautiful pools, nice gym, tennis court, and a park for my dog. They also do fun activities for you that include movies, tacos, bbq’s. The staff were so sweet too. I really miss living here

We have enjoyed living here! The office staff is very nice and friendly and maintenance does a great job at fixing things in a timely matter. Love that there is security patrolling the neighborhood, so you can call them instead of having to call the police for minor things. The area is great and love that there is a park across the street from me for my daughter to play. Overall this is a great place to live and we would continue to live here if it wasnt for outgrowing our place now that we are a family of 4.

Out of the past 10 years renting apartments this has been the WORST. I got my car broken into despite their «security.» I left for a work trip for 18 days and the property manager towed my car less than 24 hours after leaving because they wanted to take down a tree. this ended up costing me over a $ 1000 to get my car back.
I concede that I was not on the lease as I was living with my girlfriend so I was technically a guest and fell under the no more than 48hours parked car policy. Keep in mind I was parked for less than 24 before being towed.
The noise at this apartment was atrocious as our particular apartments patio was facing a residential area that liked to have parties and kids screaming throughout the day. We reported it several times but nothing happened. I don’t believe this issue occurs throughout the complex, but the apartment we were in was loud.
The maintenance team does respond quickly.
I liked the gym on site as the dumbells went up to 85lbs (more than any other apartment I’ve been in).
Ultimately I had some very bad experiences in this complex that has cost me several thousand dollars. The company will always choose money over people as I experienced, but to be fair… most complexes would do the same.
